I would like to be able to use up and down with the dpad to swtich items in the crafting menu instaid of it moving up and down from banner crafting and firework crafting thats how ive used it for years now things are wierd and it annoys me to no end!
Double checked this, not only happens in single player also, but the problem is with ANY block updates. This includes, put a block, break a block, place a torch, use a redstone system, moving pistons also gets a delay. Its just a little delayed, but its annoying. You can sometimes hear a redstone system shutting down and you hear the sound, but the door/system gets late. This causes the problem I mentioned beforehand, like clipping through the door.
Also, I tried to deactivate any single visual setting to see if anything related to visual settings was affecting this "block update lag", but no, I couldn't get rid of it.
So, I just confirmed its not a server side problem, but a problem of Optifine. I tried, and It doesn't happen in vainilla, everything is smooth and dandy.
Also, adding the issue where the world loads waaaaaaaay to slow, no matter what configuration I use.
My PC Specs are
AMD FX 6100
8 GB RAM
SSD HDD
GTX GeForce 660
Windows 7 64 bits
Thanks in advance, keep up the good work
Just posting to keep an update to this, last version fixed ALL of this.
World loads incredible fast keeping smoothed everything, and the block lag is gone, thank you.
I experience many issues regarding the following:
(Regarding to my use of the Optifine alpha for 1.8 - A2)
Light updates - self explanatory, happens just about anywhere
Water/piston movement (mechanics are fine, but there's a big delay between hearing something happen and actually seeing it)
Block placement/removal - Sometimes a place a block and it's invisible until i place another nearby and sometimes I remove a block and it stays there, but I can clip through it. Torches experience similar issue
Hello, I came here to report a bug, but first, congratulations for the mod, is great.
Ok, so the bug involves doors and pressure plates, I use to run and cross the doorway running, is common for me, thing is, using Optifine, doors seems somehow slow to open; I still manage to go through tho, but I can notice I "clipped" through the door, because it takes a little more time than normal to open.
This happens in SMP, haven't tested in SSP though. I went in and checked if it was lag, or something else. But as soon as I pooped vainilla Minecraft, everything went perfect.
Greetings

Yes please, change it the way it was. It feels weird and not comfortable at all.
I really don't know the reason behind this change, it was somehow stupid to change it, it lacks the precision you need for moving through the menu
