I would like to start making Minecraft videos on Youtube. I would like a couple of people to play and record Minecraft with since I know it would be more fun that way.
It's going to be slow at first, just like all youtube channels, and we'll be playing just plain regular Minecraft for a while. I want most of my videos to be cooperative survival on a small private server for now. If you have some ideas then let me know what you have planned and we can set some goals. Please have Skype.
I only want two or three people please. This is going to be a casual thing for a while. It's also not going to be an everyday thing. We can schedule the days we get together to record.
The people I want to record with need to be friendly, happy-go-lucky people. I would like for you to be mature
When I say mature, I don't mean that you have to abandon all jokes and pranks. I mean I don't want someone who picks fights for no reason, bully others, things like that. I need people who can get along.
I don't mind if you're young but I would like you to be at least 13 years old. I don't mind if you're a newbie. In fact, I like newbies as long as they're friendly. I would like to talk to you on Skype before we start playing together and planning things. I want to get to know you a little before we begin our recordings.
If you're interested, send me a message on Skype and we can talk for a while. If I don't get back to you right away then I apologize. I can be busy sometimes so just keep your Skype up to let me know you're online. My Skype is the same as my username, RarestDragon.

No kidding. There was only one part that I liked. The scene where Eragon exits the hut after getting his fortune told and he gets attacked but Brom arrives just in time to help him.
Eragon: "Fortune teller told my future."(I forget what exact words he said)
Brom: "Did she tell you about him?" (motioning to the dead assassin)
That made me laugh. I also liked the way Saphira looked but I didn't count her because she had bird wings; not bat wings and that bothered me. She was well animated though. The animators enjoyed working with her I'm positive.
Dude I agree, if she knew her name she would have said "Saphira is my name" but no, she rejected the other names because she was a girl, a command would be nice at least.
Also this will end up being like the sword textures won't it?
So wait a minute, she knew her name but couldn't just say it in a wrong way because she would look stupid? How would she know her name? Also she could speak she just liked messing with Eragon, she was a teenager at that point!
In the movie she knew her name. At the scene where she flies into the sky and then suddenly grows bigger she landed and starts talking to Eragon. She says "I am Saphira." But the movie isn't accurate. The Inheritance series was written by Christopher Paolini, so his story is valid, the movie is not.
I think to save the authors and coders of the work, just leave it as is. But do take out names not related to the Eragon Series. In my opinion people should suggest names for a new list that use a mixture of the same languages Paolini used for his book. I believe he used languages such as Norwegian and Welsh. I'm not sure but I think that's what he did.
Yeah maybe. My idea was more towards interacting with your dragon rather than the actual naming thing. Here is another idea that might be easier. When the dragon is a baby it has no name. But when it reaches the teenage life stage a message pops up in your chat bar that says something like "I have decided that my name will be [name here]" or something like that. The name is still random like before. That sounds like it would be a fun, simple way of adding a bit of immersion. And I slightly agree with you on taking out the names that aren't in the series. Or at least some of them. Having a dragon named Aang just seems a little odd. I liked having a dragon named Parthurnax though. At least that was the name of a dragon so it made some sense.

She didn't know her name beforehand. In the chapter "A Name of Power", The chapter after Eragon visits Brom and learns several names from him, Eragon recites the list of names and she chooses Saphira. I will read from the book:
Eragon, page 56-57:
"You need a name. I heard some interesting ones today; perhaps you'll like one" He mentally ran through the list Brom had given him until he found two names that struck him as heroic, noble, and pleasing to the ear. "What do you think of Vanilor or his successor, Eridor? Both were great dragons." No, said the dragon. It sounded amused with his efforts. Eragon.
"That's my name; you can't have it," he said, rubbing his chin. "Well if you don't like those, there are others." He continued through the list, but the dragon rejected every one he proposed. It seemed to be laughing at something Eragon did not understand, but he ignored it and kept suggesting names. "There was Ingothold, he slew the..." A revelation stopped him. "That's the problem! I've been choosing male names. You are a she!" Yes. The dragon folded her wings smugly.
Now that he knew what to look for, he came up with half a dozen names. He toyed with Miremel, but that d id not fit-after all, it was the name of a brown dragon. Opheila and Lenora were also discarded. He was ab out to give up w hen he remembered the last name Brom had muttered. Eragon liked it, but would the dragon?
He asked. "Are you Saphira?" She looked at him with Intelligent eyes. Deep in his mind he felt her satisfaction. Yes. Something clicked in his head and her voice echoed, as if from a great distance. He grinned in response. Saphira started humming.
Christopher Paolini also answered a question that a fan asked him about the dragon's names and he said that dragons would normally choose their own names once they were old enough to understand the concept and that it wasn't unheard of for a dragon to change its name later on.
That chapter was what gave me the idea. It would make the mod seem more cannon to the story. It was just a thought. It just seems nice to be able to interact with your dragon in such a way.
Here's an interesting idea for the names. There can be a command that allows you to offer a name to your dragon. This command can only be used on dragons at the teenage lifestage or older. The command can be called /shurtugal name [name here]. Then a message will pop up on your chat bar that says "Your dragon liked the name you suggested and has chosen it." or "Your dragon does not like that name and has rejected it." It can be a %50 random chance that your dragon will like the name or not. You can suggest the name again and it will still be a %50 chance, or whatever percent there can be. Once the dragon has chosen a name it can't be changed. I think that this idea will suit this mod because it's like how Eragon listed names to Saphira.
Dragons names are random and will stay that way. In the books Dragons chose their own names. Unless you have some really good funky reason neither me nor short will change it.

It does. If I go far away and then call my dragon it's fine. But if I go far away and come back then my dragon isn't there and the game tells me i'm not a rider. In the previous version, the dragon despawned if I went too far away but I could always call it back. This isn't the case anymore. Not sure what's wrong.
Found a glitch where if I go too far away from my dragon it disappears. Not only that, but when I use the shurtugal call command it says I'm not a rider. So does going too far away kill my dragon?
I just encountered another problem. When I'm flying on my dragon and start flying far sometimes my dragon freezes while flying. I can't get off and the world will not load in front of me. This only happens when I'm on the dragon. If I hope off and fly around in creative, I never run into that problem.

It does. If I go far away and then call my dragon it's fine. But if I go far away and come back then my dragon isn't there and the game tells me i'm not a rider. In the previous version, the dragon despawned if I went too far away but I could always call it back. This isn't the case anymore. Not sure what's wrong.
