    absolutely hate to do this, sorry in advance.

    how far along is the ATG support? I'm looking to start a world with some friends and i just want to know if it's worth my time to wait a bit for that to finish.

    if not then its regular highlands for me, Biomes o plenty is nice to visit but highlands is full of the "i want to live there places" and is generally more fun to play i've found.

    i think the best way to think about forge compatibility is "what mods would work with BTW?"

    what tech mods could be used with BTW? as fun as the whole tech mod overload can be would you mix it with better than wolves?

    Essentially all of them will lead to BTW being used purely for ascetic purposes(BTW was other mod friendly for a bit, but being balanced, it was there, but underutilized compared to the easier (and overpowered) options in other mods.)

    Even more of an issue is the fact that the carefully crafted balance will be completely gone.

    keep it as 3 games; Minecraft, 'ForgeModSplosion' and Better Than Wolves

    no pics(a few textures don't count)

    you'r also promising way too much for someone who hasn't even got modding 102 (101 being dirt to diamonds)coded. what you have 'planned' is no simple task...

    i may suggest learning to code, or building up a team to make the mod before trying to accomplish something of this level.

    might want to put some screenshots up to prove this is legit and to stop the pics or no clicks people, just some pics of the underground biomes blocks as microblocks should do.

    looks like a nice mod to cover for other mods until they add support themselves and after that there will always be mods that don't have support for microblocks.

    oh god i just read the 1.6 changelog.

    as usual there's a couple of nice new features that modders and map makers will be able to make use of but other than that :/

    how are you going to 'fix' the unnecessary and overpowered horses and donkeys?

    what about carpets? i don't want to go on a rant about carpets...

    Goddammit FlowerChild, you've made Minecraft too hard, 4 days in and i am cowering in the ruins of a village with a spider outside ready to mess me up...

    not that i mean this is a bad thing, its like playing a whole new game, last time i played this was when this was still very much an automation mod now it's an overhaul turning survival from 'grindy creative' to true survival.

    is there any lower tier weapon before the iron sword, can i smash this spider with a stick or something? or do i just fight it till i get crippled and then gently stroke it so we become friends? (i know, i know, i will keep hiding like a good newly spawned player till i get a sword ;) )

    tried out the new wire system.
    i had a few thoughts on them:

    - you are storing energy in kA, we measure energy in energy, not curren-.-, it's both wrong and confusing to be storing energy as current.

    - some inventory information would be much appreciated, i have no idea what wires to be using and some actual values so everyone can know what to use would be excellent. (look at how electric expansion has resistance etc. information in the inventory)

    - personal opinion: i like the wire look but could it be possible to remove the big ugly square bits?

    - i also noticed when i hooked up a fission reactor things would work for a minute but suddenly stop. (gold wire and the purple one which i forgot the name of)


    how are you handling power in a bit more detail? your explanation is interesting, especially the use of current in 'odd' ways.
    will transformers and energy loss be calculated the normal way?(i.e. P=I*V where increasing V will decrease I Proportionally and power loss as P=i^2*R)
    i was thinking oh cool, new wires but the use of current for storage has completely thrown me of what i thought they would do, it's all confusing.

    try reading the whole post next time, it's in the installation spoiler. doing this will also save the inevitable post where it's crashed because you put it in the mods folder instead of the coremods folder.

    i swear there is like 2% of users who actually take the time to read the entire original post...

    i like the look of this, have been using fancy GUI for a while now and like the better transparencies this menu provides.

    i will third the NEI Crash too :(
    i also got another crash in the 'mods' menu, triggered the crash when opening the optifine info

    just a few minor suggestions to your mod:

    - add the option for the screenshots folder to be used and a folder to put extra screens in that either completely replace or work with the default screens(opening the jar file is too difficult for most users and is not how it should be done)

    - support for Friends overlay(it will be just another button to add)

    - a continue button that loads up the last used world

    - music options to play in the main menu

    also, your generators have turbines, does that mean they require water?(please let that be true)
