Ok, if anything, you can keep the Active Topic block. At least make the new 'View New Content' thing have new threads instead of new posts.

Feb 29, 2012RandomKitteh posted a message on The Forum Has Been Upgraded! The Active Topic block is NOT THE SAME! The previous Recent Topics block showed new topics that were just posted! That's what I liked about it! I don't want to see every little post that has been made in a 16k-post thread! I want to see new topics, like the old block. It was easier to see who needed help, which was why I lurked on it the most.Posted in: News
I don't mean to sound desperate or anything. I jsut reaaaally miss that thing... :C -

When he said that the class should split up, that was when she spoke up. "Excuse me, sir? When will you cover summoning magic?"

The glass door was pretty much gone. Elva whistled at the damage. As she entered, she saw that the receptionist looked surprised that it was broken. Walking up to the woman, Elva asked, "Excuse me, but when will class for summoners begin?" She fiddled with her ear, touched the point in a habit to keep herself busy.

She walked toward the light dorm when she saw a boy with a hat walking toward the same building. The wind had caught up with them, making Elva shiver and the boy's hat to fly off. Elva's eyes widened when she saw he had the ears of a feline. She instantly recognized them as lynx ears. Just before she tried to call after him, the boy quickly put his hat back on and ran off into the dorm. I guess we'll meet tomorrow in class, she thought as she reached her room. Elva changed into her pajamas and flopped on the bed, exhausted.

Elva stared at the ceiling of her dorm room, wondering why she couldn't sleep. She had returned Solembum to her sketchbook when she grew weak, knowing that she would not be able to summon him again until she got some rest. It was a little risky; she hadn't summoned any of her drawing in a while, and didn't quite know her limits yet.
The elf yawned and scratched her head. It was then that she heard glass breaking in a loud crash, and yelling. Maybe that's why I can't sleep, she thought, getting out of bed. Might as well see what's up. She slipped on her blue hoodie, kept her black pajama pants on, and put on her Converse. Then she quietly slipped out of the dorm building.
When she finally reached the commotion, Elva was blinded by a bright light. She blinked a few times when it faded, spots in her vision. "Hey what's the big deal!?" she shouted.

"Keep up you silly cat," she replied. The **** growled in retort and began to trot. They reached the main building and entered. Elva looked around, trying to find the two boys. The crowd was getting bigger aince people were trying to find or remember their dorm rooms as curfew ((do they have one?)) was getting close. Elva tucked a few strands of hair behind pointed ears.

The elf looked around and watched various people walk by. She was bored and there was nothing to do. Casually flipping through her sketchbook, she stopped at the section she labeled off with sticky-notes. It contained all of the drawings she used with her magic. She turned to a page with a cat on it and placed a hand on top, closing her eyes. The picture began to glow a soft green and, with a flash of green light, a grey Maine **** appeared in front of Elva.
“Hello, Solembum,” she said softly to the cat. Solembum turned his back to her. “Oh come on. Don't act like that! Mom didn't want any fur in the car!” The **** turned his head to look at her, blinked, then padded over to rub his head against her arm while purring. This made Elva smile and place him in her lap. He peered at her with golden, pupil-less eyes and lay his head on her thigh.
((Solembum: ))
