May 10, 2014Ramiro26 posted a message on Destiny-soaring Void [Chaos][Fighting][Immortality][Accepting!]I vehemently support this project and hereby reserve a spot for a future application.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Mar 9, 2014Maple titled her head with a puzzled look- She had no idea what "Stationary Paper" was. "Oh, cotton and flax are all a bunch of jerks anyway!", she said, relaxed. "Chiseling stone tablets seems more fun, though! And they last longer!"Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
As she left the infirmary with Casey, Maple noticed many students were gathered in the courtyard. Last time she'd been at the courtyard it was empty (as is to be expected when students are in class, usually), so the contrast was unexpected. Following Casey into the yard, she somehow found herself standing awkwardly behind her, while she somehow spoke casually with multiple students. All of a sudden, Casey turned to face her. While the sun felt nice, she wasn't very confortable standing there idly while everyone chatted around her, so she took her up on the offer.
"Y-Yeah, sure, let's go!"
She glanced over to guy Cas had just invited in. It could be said she wasn't exactly very attentive to the previous conversation, so she had no idea who he was. Having recently learned the truth about the "paper genocide", she didn't exactly know wether trusting humans was a good idea, but Casey seemed okay with him, and she certainly looked nice enough.
"I guess I'll have to go with it" She thought as the three of them started walking.
Mar 7, 2014Maple yawned as she awoke, with drowsy eyes. Looking around, she was in an unfamiliar white bed in a similarly bright room. She had never been outside her forest before, so she wasn't much familiar with the concept of an infirmary. Casey was standing a couple feet from her, with a strange look on her face. Recalling the events of her blackout, her face once more filled with sorrow, but it was quickly replaced with eager determination. She still didn't know exactly where she was, but in the context of her fainting in the middle of class, it was fairly easy to figure out. Recovering her composture, she glared at Casey and said with a serious voice:Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
"Where can I buy stone tablets? And a chisel too."
Mar 6, 2014As this terrible truth became known to her, Maple stared at the paper in front of her. How many of her prescious trees had been murdered so that she could answer a test? How many of these papers did the school use each day? They were too many to even imagine. A single tear ran down her face as Casey attempted to console her. But it was useless. She wasn't listening anymore. She leaned to the left, and fell over, unconcious.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Mar 6, 2014-"Ah, so that's what it is!" Maple answered happily. After processing the thought for a couple seconds, her face turned blank.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Staring at the sheet of paper with empty eyes, the muffled screms of a thousand tormented souls filled her with despair. The memories of a thousand trees rushed her mind with desperate cries for help. A truly maddening fear assaulted her, as she turned around and looked at her classmate, nonchalantly writing on the processed remains of his slaughtered kind.
"N-No reason in particular" she said with the best fake smile she could produce. "T-Trees, you say? The big, green leafy kind?"
Mar 6, 2014Maple walked into the classroom cheerfully, completely obvlivious to the half dozen of blades flying by her and the numerous glares of other students. As the uncannily gender neutral student called out to her, she nodded and cheerfully pranced over to sit besides Casey.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
When she got to her seat, a piece of paper and a pencil were conveniently incrusted in the table for her. She smiled and grabbed the pencil, ready to fill out the questions. She seemed to remember the basics of writing from her past life, despite never having seen a pencil before. She was, nonetheless, facinated by the leafy properties of "paper" Smiling as she inspected the sheet, completely ignoring the fact that her time to answer the test was running low, she turned around to face Casey and blissfully asked while holding the sheet of paper:
-"This is a really cool writing thing! What is it made of?"
Mar 6, 2014The breeze of morning air and warmth of the sun had been warning her for a while now, but she had payed them no heed. Maple suddenly jolted up, realizing it was already daytime, and way past the scheduled time. Having a plant body, she doesn't exactly need sleep in the usual meaning of the word, but she does doze off often. But it was her apartment window that had betrayed her. The sky was blocked by tall buildings, so it wasn't until late morning that sunshine actually came into her room.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Her eyes windened at the sight of the clock, and her heart skipped a beat. It marked 11:45 am.
-"E-Eleven am.?! I should've been in school hours ago!"
Panicking, she ran through her cheap motel room, trying to figure out what to do. The first day of school isn't the best possible day to be 4 hours late, but skipping it was probably worse yet. Determined, she changed her leafy cover into something resemling a generic school uniform, as the school didn't have a particular one. With no grassy earth to lay her routes on, eating was important to get her nutrients.
Preparing a proper breakfast would take too long, however, so she grabbed a single slice of bread and stuffed it in her mouth. "This would be enough until lunchbreak" she thought. As she left the room, she started running to save as much time as possible. She got to the school in no time, even before finishing her slice of bread. Once in the hallway, many classroom doors loomed around her. She had no idea where to go, but her time ran short, so she took a guess.
Barging into the classroom, with a bit of toast still poking out of her mouth, she looked around. It was a big classroom, with dozens of students. She didn't know for sure if this one was actually her classroom, but it mattered not. Finishing her bread in a hurry, she looked at the proffesor, sitting on his desk, and casually yelled out: "Good Morning!"

Name: Maple Wyrmwood
Gender: No real specific gender, but most of the time appears as a female.
Personality: Maple is, for the most part, pretty outgoing, brash and explosive. She tends to be quite cheerful, but is often a bit more hostile than necessary with strangers or people she doesn't trust. She enjoys teasing her friends, sometimes a little too much.
Powers: Maple can quickly grow and move branches or vine-like appendages, or transform parts of her body into them. These can be used in a manner of ways, and are very versatile. They are Maple's main resource for both offensive and defensive action. They are useful for facilitating movement. These are quite strong and heavy, but a sharp blade can cut through them without much trouble, and they don't fare too well against fire.
Weapons: None at the moment.
Equipment: See above.
History: Two years ago, while she was still a normal human, she got lost in the woods after a tragic tent-raising accident during a camping trip. After wandering in the woods for days trying to find a way out, she began to starve. As her conciousness faded, she sat beneath a big maple tree.
A forest spirit stumbled upon her fresh body, and felt great sorrow for her. The spiritual energy of the woods was terribly damaged however, due to constant conflict with demons trying to disturb the balance of nature and whatnot. Because of this, the forest spirit had not enough power to restore her body. Knowing this, the spirit saw a chance to save her forest, and used what little energy it could afford to bind the girl's soul to the forest, fusing the both.
This new being awoke in the same place as the girl had died, but she had no memory of her past life. Holding the spirit of the forest within herself, however, the grudge against demons was inevitable. Her new body was as well composed wholly out of plant tissue, but it was highly adaptative, allowing her to bend her form at will. Now sustaining herself through photosynthesis, hunger was a foreign issue for her. Thus, she continued to dwell in the woods for 2 years, while defending it from demons and other threats. In this time, sightings of her spurred an urban legend in the region, about a magical girl who protected the forest with the power of nature and friendship. She was then used a mascot for multiple environmental campaigns, but that's beyond the point.
After 2 years living in the forest, accompanied only by other forest spirits, who had baptized her as "Maple" in honor of the tree she was born under, she encountered a group of demon hunters fighting off one of the demons that had gotten into those lands. Observing from afar, she saw the hunters deal with the demon quickly and easily, and followed them as they returned to the location of their rift. Once they walked through it, she stared at the rift, and in a moment of reckless, impulsive curiosity, figured to walk through it.
Other: Angsty teens in a wasteland school? Oh myyyy!
Nov 10, 2013Helion held his breath as he watched the black wolf approached him, snarling. It was the first animal he found after leaving Bunker Magma, and it certainly could have been his last if he hadn't seen him coming. He tried scaring the beast off, but it didn't show any signs of backing away. If anything, the wolf was angrier now. As it lounged forwards, Helion jumped to his left, dodging the beast, which from the side looked significantly larger than him. Knowing he would easily be outrunned, and out in the open with no possible shelter, fighting back was the only option left. Taking a deep breath, he readied his right arm, and faced the enemy. He doged it's second attack, this time jumping to the right. As he did so however, he reached out to the wolf with his right hand. He didn't manage to fully strike it, but the contact with it's fur was enough to burn it and throw the animal off balance as it landed. Seizing the chance, Helion turned his back gave the finishing blow.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
He grabbed a piece of dried food from his bag. He wasn't sure how far away the nearest town was, so he was as conservative with food as he could. Of course, the adrenaline of the fight and using his ability both made that quite hard. Looking to the horizon, nothing but the vast expanses of wasteland were to be seen. Apart from the occasional tree dotting the landscape, it was completely plain and dull. He had been walking north for quite some time now, and no sight of human life was to be seen. He had heard rumors of people settling on the surface, but he had no clue for where to look, or what to expect. As he started to wonder wether he had made a mistake by going north, a pair of angry growls caught his attention.
Approaching the source of this sound as stealthily as he could, He started to make out figures on the horizon. 3 massive horned rabbits, at least twice as large as the wolf he fought were running around a metal structure, Suddenly, a powerful blast filled the air, and one of the rabbits fell to the ground with a loud thump. The other 2 were quick to run, acknowledging the turret's firepower. Helion approached the metal turret, before noticing the walled off structures behind it. Atop of the wall, a large, rusty sign read: "Welcome to Steam Rail"

Power: Heat Manipulation: He is able to enhance metabolic processes to produce great amounts of heat in precise places around him. This allows him to heat up his body, objects he comes into contact with or to project bursts of heat into the air. His main limitations are range and nutrition. He can only directly affect things within a short distance of himself, no more than 50cm. Since his ability uses metabolic energy from his own body, he needs to be well fed to use it.
Helion was born in the Magma bunker, where he lived up to now, as one of the engineers in charge of the geothermal facilities.
Throughout his childhood he gained interest in science, particularly in Physics, and the engines that provided energy for his whole bunker using only the Earth's heat. As he grew up, he studied into physics and engineering, seeking knowledge of these wonderous machines. As an adult, he was employed at one of these facilities.
He was 19 when the mutations started coming into light, and the cases were becoming more and more frequent inside the bunker. Most of these were childs and newborns, which were quickly killed or exiled to the outside world. He was intrigued and slightly annoyed by the existance of these people, whose powers often seemed to violate everything he knew about the world.
One such day, while he was working overnight at the plant, a malfunction came up in one of the water tanks, where the water was not turning to steam at the corect rate, which was cutting the energy output. After 10 minutes trying to solve it, he bashed the tank with his fist in anger. Instead of the hot metal tank burning his hand, his own fist started heating up the tank, which slowly started giving a faint red glow.
He continued to experiment with his new power in the geothermal facility, where it would go unnoticed. Soon he could control it to a certain degree, but he always found himself inexplicably hungry after using it.
This went on for a whole year, until the day he accidentally burned his boss' hand while giving him a handshake. His boss was no common worker either, he belonged to the governing class of the bunker. He was known for his cruelty to employees, and Helion himself had seen many of his co-workers fired (or worse) for not being up to his superior standards. He had also played a big part in the persecution of mutated individuals, which he saw as a threat to the system. Needless to say, he would not be happy to know one of his employees was a mutant.
Helion panicked at his secret being discovered. He fried his boss' head to save his own life, grabbed as much as he could and escaped from the colony before the body was found. As he rose to the surface, and for the first time saw the outside world, he knew there was no turning back. Following the rumors, he headed to Capital to start a new life.
Other: He wears heat resistant clothing from the plant. He carries enough food to last about a week (Assuming he doesn't use his power much)
May 19, 2013Why hullo thar!Posted in: PC Servers
Why: I want a good survival server, and also it's past midnight here and I don't wanna go to sleep. It's been a while since I played Minecraft, mostly cause I'm kinda bored of vanilla, but hopefully Gulliver's will make it much more interesting ^^
Also, I've been wanting to try server RP for a while, but never had the chance.
Other: I like cheese. And I have it on most of my meals. Maybe some desserts.

"We find them, and we bring them back, alive or not. That's the plan" He said as he walked into the armory. He was just waking up when he got the text from Jake, and he hadn't wasted a minute. "We've got 5 runners: 3 females, 2 males, all of them highly dangerous. They have been away for at least 10 hours now, meaning they could be far away by now. We need to catch up to them before they get there. If necessary, you may kill them, but if possible, bring them in alive."
He grabbed a long rifle, 2 handguns, a small knife and a lot of ammunition. "Jake, do you know which way they went?"
May 5, 2013I'm sorry for taking so long, I'm not good at making apps. Or at keeping up with deadlines.Posted in: Forum Roleplaying
Name: Sebastian Reynolds
Skill/power: Fire arms
Personality: Sebastian is very serious and demanding, especially when he's on a mission. He can be seen as rough, since he focuses only on doing his job right. He is a natural leader and tactician, and can react quickly to trouble. He sometimes get quite mad when the trackers fail to follow orders, or are being reckless.
History: He was born in a middle-class family, the oldest of 2 children. He was a good student, but his parents didn't care for him much. Instead, they spent all of their time with his younger brother, Michael. Sebastian didn't really worry about that, as he also loved his brother a lot. When he found his father's gun in the attic, he was scared of it at first.
One day, when he was 14 years old, while his parents were out and he was alone with Michael, 2 burglars broke into the house. Sebastian, who was in the kitchen at that moment, heard his brother scream and the burglar's voices, so he hurried to the attic and grabbed his father's gun. When he came down and pointed the gun at one of the burglars, they quickly grabbed his brother and pointed a gun at his head. After a lot of yelling from both men, he shot the one holding his brother. The bullet missed, and the man instantly reacted by shooting Michael. Sebastian yelled and shot again, this time hitting the killer in the head. The other one ran away, knowing the police would be coming soon.
When his parents came back, they blamed Sebastian for his brother's death, saying he should've been with him the whole time, and never tried to shoot the robber. Sebastian also blamed himself for Michaels, knowing that if he hadn't missed, his brother would still live. Sebastian ran away with the gun, and never came back to his house. He lived for many years with an old man, who had a collection of guns from Vietnam. The old man was lonely, so he welcomed him, and he treated him as a son, training him to use any type of gun. When Sebastian was 22, the old man died of a stroke, leaving him with his arsenal. Sebastian went on to serve in the military, further expanding his experience with fire arms, as well as developing skills in team work, leadership, and tactics. When he was 29, he recieved an unmarked letter inviting him to serve as a tracker for some shady company. He quickly rose through the ranks and became the leader of an elite group.
