((Doing a study abroad thing with my girlfriend. Well, really she's the one who's doing it with me. She was given the opportunity to study abroad to about 10 different countries, which she would choose one out of, and she would spend the next four to seven months there bringing along someone of her choice. So she decided to take me, and I'm not going to pass up any chance to experience what it's like being in a foreign country, even though she's doing all of the actual learning and I'm supposed to be there as an "assistant to make sure she gets things done." I won't use that as an excuse to be lazy though, I'll try to learn right alongside her even if it seems a bit too complicated for me. They strictly said no personal belongings other than clothes and some food though, so that she can be "more ingrained into a new culture," as she explained to me.
Plus, this is different in that I'm willingly doing it. And, to be honest, I actually got a lot more meditation done when I didn't have the constant distraction of electronics around me during the summer.))
((I was worried you'd miss me. I've been to therapists ever since I was twelve that constantly told me to learn how to forget people, and so I did. Now it sadly comes easy to me, and I tend to forget people even when I don't want to. But, I'm hoping I don't forget any of you. After all, during that summer all I did was think about RPing with you guys some more. I'll just do more of that to force myself to remember.))

((While it is something interesting, I'm fairly sure that'll deter a lot of newcomers. Especially when they're joining an RP that's practically all friends that they likely don't know. Plus, sometimes it's better to leave character connections more shrouded in mystery. It's cool to find out later on that the person your fighting with has some sort of connection to you, in a meta sense. I feel like mandatory character connections could make that little pleasant surprise in the meta just seem like something that has to happen, as opposed to something that happened out of coincidence. As my friends used to say, "think of the meta, man!" whenever I brought forth some new rule that could potentially break the meta in some way. I'd attribute it to giving my D&D buddies a list of all of the NPCs they're going to meet before they even know who those NPCs are. Sometimes a surprise in the meta is worth much more than clearly setting something up beforehand.))
((Of course D&D is significantly different from forum roleplaying in almost every way, but I feel like a lot of aspects are similar between the two. One thing I don't particularly miss from D&D is the fact that you leave your entire journey up to one person (The DM), who may or may not be trying to screw you over at every step. I do enjoy the player freedom of forum roleplaying far more, allowing them to make their own journey rather than following the set path a DM demands that they do. Plus, there's a lot less rules. By that I mean, forum roleplays have a total of about 15 rules in general, with probably the 10 or so unspoken rules there are. The newest edition of D&D currently has a rulebook of about 500 pages give or take. And as DM, you practically have to memorize them all. If you do want a D&D type game that's the same experience but much simpler, and imo, much more fun for the DM, is Pathfinder. I highly recommend that over D&D if you're just starting out.))

((I just played through Bo3's campaign, and well, at least they tried. What happened to them promising different endings if you made different choices though? There was 0 choices, and I'm pretty sure only one (extremely terrible) ending. The last level is probably the biggest way to pan out a game I've ever seen, throwing infinitely respawning enemies at you in droves, and a new enemy that's incredibly irritating to fight only to make you die more on purpose so that the game seems longer.))
((However, this is the first CoD I've played since MW1, and I have to say that the multiplayer is spot on, and I love it. Freerun mode is also fun trying to get better times. Not much of a zombies guy though, so I don't touch that too much. I think MW1 is easily the only CoD game where you can justify buying it for the campaign. Every game after it's been entirely focused on the multiplayer, and that probably made it extremely stale for most people.))
((This all said though, the multiplayer really makes me wish Titanfall didn't die out so quickly. I really loved playing Titanfall until it took me an average of ten minutes to find a match, and Bo3 kind of acts as a buffer for me until the sequel to Titanfall releases. Titanfall's easily one of my number one multiplayer shooters, and it seriously sucks that the community died because of the "lack of content" in the game (as most people cite). I thought it had more than enough content honestly, and I just thought it would benefit from having bigger maps and more wide-open areas for the titans to fight in. I'm hoping that they add that in for the next game.))
((Ah well, I wouldn't have Undertale any other way. Genocide is the way it is for a reason; and it's treated rather realistically.))

Alright, I'll just tell you because there's just enough evidence given to you in the pacifist route to justify this. Basically, you know once Mettaton starts getting all of those calls, and "he's" clearly able to tell the first caller is napstablook, and calls him "blooky." If you use the key you get from Bratty and Catty, you can enter the house next to Blook's. There's a journal in there claiming that they were a cousin to Napstablook, and that they wanted to be on the stage. There's a certain passage that concludes Mettaton is actually a woman, and that she had some affections towards Napstablook, which makes them sort of "being together" in the end credits, makes everything all happy.
((There is a different secret key you can get that goes to a different secret room in the game, and it requires you go through pacifist a second time I believe.))

((There's a reason the name is Chara, as that is easily short for the word Character. It's also apparent in the game's files that Chara's sprite has the letter M before Chara, possibly meaning Main Character in some way. That's only speculation though, not really confirmed, so I could be wrong.))

((Well, be prepared for a bad time if you want to go through genocide then. I dunno, for me the thrill of not knowing what clever joke, what instance of messing with the game would happen, and what was even going on at all became a game all on it's own. I had no idea what to expect out of Undertale besides what I had already played in the demo, and even then that was a minuscule amount. I think it's just the fact that demo gave me a mixed response and lowered my standards that the game seriously shines to me, showing that a game that is actually finished is the kind of game you want to play. That being said, Tobyfox will apparently be updating the game with something soon, hopefully with a hard mode, ahuehuehue. Although that's based off of rumor, I don't really know if he is or not, but that's been circulating on Twitter. I wouldn't get my hopes up though.))

((I feel kind of sad now that I haven't done a collab. My posts have almost always been lacking in details, due to the fact that I'm far better at dialogue and world building than I am descriptiveness like, "he swings his sword precisely, clashing their weapons together with sparks as sweat poured down his forehead." Usually I'd just do, "and he swung his sword, locking against the others weapon," or something less intensive. I blame that on D&D though. I'd put all of my focus on setting and characters, and we'd use the little diorama sets so that I wouldn't really have to worry about being descriptive of what's going on and around the characters.
That being said though, I'll make sure to pour my all into every post in the next RP, and be as descriptive as I need to be.))
((Ended up going to my friends party for about two or three hours. I was put into a "smash bros tournament," as he had his WiiU set up, and so I managed to place 4th out of 16 as Ryu. Ryu's in smash bros for some reason now, I don't really know why.))
((I did however spend most of my time watching really old free domain monster movies, which I have a lot of respect for doing a lot with what little they had. I think what horror is missing now is they just throw out too much. Tone it back, play some more on the psychological side rather than the "shock and gore" side, and things would probably improve.))

((What's worse, Genocide makes you love every character even more when you force yourself to kill them. I know this is a quote from somewhere, I forget what, but it goes "people only show their true nature when their lives are on the line." And really, it made me love every character just that little bit more learning what they would do and fight for in their final moments. It's too bad that you have to literally become the villain of the story to do these things though, killing everyone and whatnot, and learning the true nature of your character as you venture deeper into your slaughter. Genocide's also cemented that Asriel is my favorite character in the game, simply because of the fact that he never really has grown up at all. Yes, the whole deal with losing compassion and pretty much all feelings but hate and malice turned him into what he became, but deep inside he was still that child that just wanted to have fun and be loved; by you.))

((The thing is that Sakuya, normal Sakuya, isn't at all a Dio thing. She just carries hundreds of knives on her and throws them at you because she works as a bodyguard and maid for the Scarlet sisters (who provide her with her murder weapon of choice), who are incidentally vampires. The one joke they always bring up about her is that she's flat-chested, when over half of the girls are, so I don't really get the joke. Advent Sakuya on the other hand, is a blatant Dio rip-off. She summons knives, stops time, and has a ditch last attack where she shoots a laser from her eye.
((I do prefer normal Sakuya's backstory and character though, in the game where you go back in time you see that she used to be the lone caretaker of a lighthouse who started to go insane because of her solitary confinement. (In Gensokyo, you're sort of forced to live where you work.) So she would fashion knives out of rocks, and start throwing them at the animals she saw from her lighthouse. Eventually, when she did see a boat with people on it, she led it astray onto land, and killed the occupants with her rock throwing knives. After this had happened many times, the Scarlet sisters found Sakuya (because of the smell of all of the blood she's spilled) and offered her a way to hone her knife throwing skills, and a much better job where she could kill even more people. So she is a sort of lunatic at first in the games where she first appears, but over time she's gradually come to grips and even made friends. Although, one of them is a talking doll, and the other a girl who can open up portals into hell, but she's making progress. We know nothing about anything further in her past though, but I'm pretty sure ZUN has more of her planned out. She has become a more key character recently after all.))
((I think what honestly annoys me the most about this party my friend's planned is that he won't let me bring my current girlfriend, but he'll bring my ex-girlfriends and that's alright for some reason. And he claims the reason why is because he doesn't like my current girlfriend, even though she's practically the same as me except less into gaming and movies, but way more into anime. Plus, she's currently my longest relationship held, so you'd think he'd cut her some slack. I probably won't even go now, and I'll just spend the whole day with her to spite him.))
((For some reason, I decided to debate whether JSR or JSRF had the better character designs in the series as I was thinking about Touhou designs yesterday. Easily my favorite designs in JSRF have to be Jazz and Clutch,
While for JSR, I think Gum and Mew have the best designs.
And I have no idea why, but they decided to sexualize Gum and Mew (who was renamed to Rhyth) in JSRF for some reason. I think I overall just prefer JSR's designs, but the JSRF models are about 100 times better, however that makes sense because it went from the first game being on the Dreamcast, to the second game being on Xbox.))
((I think the internet is slowly starting to make the entire mass populace of the earth with an internet connection, completely and utterly brain dead. I think it's an instinctive psychological thing dug into human DNA, but it seems that the second we're given free reign to do whatever we want behind a mask, the basic instinct is to abuse the hell out of it, and I'm pretty sure this is where the stupidity stems from. Which makes me think that we need whole classes that should be required to take regarding the internet now, so that we don't have several generations of absolute idiots spawned because of their freedom on the internet. ((She does kind of pull a Dio though, because it's revealed she pauses time for a brief period to summon all of her knives, and then once it unpauses she starts throwing them all like a maniac. Which has led to funny comics pertaining just as to where she gets all of these knives, with most of them being her stealing them from kitchens all across gensokyo. In Advent though, and I'm not kidding here, she makes the knives out of her pure determination to protect Gensokyo. I don't know what kind of metal determination would make, but I imagine it's a strong one.))

The newest edition of D&D currently has a rulebook of about 500 pages give or take. And as DM, you practically have to memorize them all. If you do want a D&D type game that's the same experience but much simpler, and imo, much more fun for the DM, is Pathfinder. I highly recommend that over D&D if you're just starting out.))

((I just played through Bo3's campaign, and well, at least they tried. What happened to them promising different endings if you made different choices though? There was 0 choices, and I'm pretty sure only one (extremely terrible) ending. The last level is probably the biggest way to pan out a game I've ever seen, throwing infinitely respawning enemies at you in droves, and a new enemy that's incredibly irritating to fight only to make you die more on purpose so that the game seems longer.))
((However, this is the first CoD I've played since MW1, and I have to say that the multiplayer is spot on, and I love it. Freerun mode is also fun trying to get better times. Not much of a zombies guy though, so I don't touch that too much. I think MW1 is easily the only CoD game where you can justify buying it for the campaign. Every game after it's been entirely focused on the multiplayer, and that probably made it extremely stale for most people.))
((This all said though, the multiplayer really makes me wish Titanfall didn't die out so quickly. I really loved playing Titanfall until it took me an average of ten minutes to find a match, and Bo3 kind of acts as a buffer for me until the sequel to Titanfall releases. Titanfall's easily one of my number one multiplayer shooters, and it seriously sucks that the community died because of the "lack of content" in the game (as most people cite). I thought it had more than enough content honestly, and I just thought it would benefit from having bigger maps and more wide-open areas for the titans to fight in. I'm hoping that they add that in for the next game.))

((There's a reason the name is Chara, as that is easily short for the word Character. It's also apparent in the game's files that Chara's sprite has the letter M before Chara, possibly meaning Main Character in some way. That's only speculation though, not really confirmed, so I could be wrong.))
((I kind of realized that Undertale really only has about 15 songs, but all of them are remixed in some way to create the over 100 songs that the game has, and in the title menu upon completing true pacifist, you get all of the character themes, which I think makes up about 10 of those 15 songs, all mashed up together.))
((I think the main reason now that Undertale is easily my favorite game of all time for now, is that there was a load of thought that went into the game. I just started researching that Gaster character that's never mentioned but is in the game's files, and it goes to show that Toby was incredibly passionate about the game. There are so many lines of dialogue that I guarantee most people won't ever see, and so many little variables throughout the choices you make, that the game just becomes that much better with each new thing I learn about it.))
((Plus there's the fact that the game is not only able to be extremely happy-go-lucky, and makes you want to laugh and have fun, but Toby also managed to pull off the exact opposite of the coin, making you feel disgusted and sad, even going so far as to permanently alter your game if you keep going on your warpath of destruction and carnage.))

There's actually more to that by the way, but it would be much better if I didn't tell you, because it makes a certain line of dialogue in the pacifist route just that much sweeter. But, it does explain why a ghost robot could so, fabulous, I guess.
((Well, be prepared for a bad time if you want to go through genocide then. I dunno, for me the thrill of not knowing what clever joke, what instance of messing with the game would happen, and what was even going on at all became a game all on it's own. I had no idea what to expect out of Undertale besides what I had already played in the demo, and even then that was a minuscule amount. I think it's just the fact that demo gave me a mixed response and lowered my standards that the game seriously shines to me, showing that a game that is actually finished is the kind of game you want to play. That being said, Tobyfox will apparently be updating the game with something soon, hopefully with a hard mode, ahuehuehue. Although that's based off of rumor, I don't really know if he is or not, but that's been circulating on Twitter. I wouldn't get my hopes up though.))

((The funny thing about Mettaton, is well, you know what, I won't spoil that for you. During genocide route, you kind of learn much more about "him" near the end, I'll just say that much. It's actually kind of hard to find as well the certain thing I'm talking about, and it's mostly just implied so it's easy to not understand at all what I'm talking about. Actually, there are lots of things about different characters in the game that are implied that most people tend to just pass over.))

((I was about to say, "well my character Gen is a thief, it's possible he could have robbed from practically every character so far, considering he's been a thief for about 10+ years." I only have three things from Gen's past that's going to haunt him for right now, and I'd rather that every character doesn't hate him. He's already got two that hate him (though they're my own characters), and the fact that he's going to be a known criminal with a bounty on his head already makes him a target.))
((I feel kind of sad now that I haven't done a collab. My posts have almost always been lacking in details, due to the fact that I'm far better at dialogue and world building than I am descriptiveness like, "he swings his sword precisely, clashing their weapons together with sparks as sweat poured down his forehead." Usually I'd just do, "and he swung his sword, locking against the others weapon," or something less intensive. I blame that on D&D though. I'd put all of my focus on setting and characters, and we'd use the little diorama sets so that I wouldn't really have to worry about being descriptive of what's going on and around the characters.
That being said though, I'll make sure to pour my all into every post in the next RP, and be as descriptive as I need to be.))

((Ended up going to my friends party for about two or three hours. I was put into a "smash bros tournament," as he had his WiiU set up, and so I managed to place 4th out of 16 as Ryu. Ryu's in smash bros for some reason now, I don't really know why.))
((I did however spend most of my time watching really old free domain monster movies, which I have a lot of respect for doing a lot with what little they had. I think what horror is missing now is they just throw out too much. Tone it back, play some more on the psychological side rather than the "shock and gore" side, and things would probably improve.))

((The thing is that Sakuya, normal Sakuya, isn't at all a Dio thing. She just carries hundreds of knives on her and throws them at you because she works as a bodyguard and maid for the Scarlet sisters (who provide her with her murder weapon of choice), who are incidentally vampires. The one joke they always bring up about her is that she's flat-chested, when over half of the girls are, so I don't really get the joke. Advent Sakuya on the other hand, is a blatant Dio rip-off. She summons knives, stops time, and has a ditch last attack where she shoots a laser from her eye.
((I do prefer normal Sakuya's backstory and character though, in the game where you go back in time you see that she used to be the lone caretaker of a lighthouse who started to go insane because of her solitary confinement. (In Gensokyo, you're sort of forced to live where you work.) So she would fashion knives out of rocks, and start throwing them at the animals she saw from her lighthouse. Eventually, when she did see a boat with people on it, she led it astray onto land, and killed the occupants with her rock throwing knives. After this had happened many times, the Scarlet sisters found Sakuya (because of the smell of all of the blood she's spilled) and offered her a way to hone her knife throwing skills, and a much better job where she could kill even more people. So she is a sort of lunatic at first in the games where she first appears, but over time she's gradually come to grips and even made friends. Although, one of them is a talking doll, and the other a girl who can open up portals into hell, but she's making progress. We know nothing about anything further in her past though, but I'm pretty sure ZUN has more of her planned out. She has become a more key character recently after all.))
((I think what honestly annoys me the most about this party my friend's planned is that he won't let me bring my current girlfriend, but he'll bring my ex-girlfriends and that's alright for some reason. And he claims the reason why is because he doesn't like my current girlfriend, even though she's practically the same as me except less into gaming and movies, but way more into anime. Plus, she's currently my longest relationship held, so you'd think he'd cut her some slack. I probably won't even go now, and I'll just spend the whole day with her to spite him.))
((For some reason, I decided to debate whether JSR or JSRF had the better character designs in the series as I was thinking about Touhou designs yesterday. Easily my favorite designs in JSRF have to be Jazz and Clutch,
While for JSR, I think Gum and Mew have the best designs.
And I have no idea why, but they decided to sexualize Gum and Mew (who was renamed to Rhyth) in JSRF for some reason. I think I overall just prefer JSR's designs, but the JSRF models are about 100 times better, however that makes sense because it went from the first game being on the Dreamcast, to the second game being on Xbox.))
((I think the internet is slowly starting to make the entire mass populace of the earth with an internet connection, completely and utterly brain dead. I think it's an instinctive psychological thing dug into human DNA, but it seems that the second we're given free reign to do whatever we want behind a mask, the basic instinct is to abuse the hell out of it, and I'm pretty sure this is where the stupidity stems from. Which makes me think that we need whole classes that should be required to take regarding the internet now, so that we don't have several generations of absolute idiots spawned because of their freedom on the internet. I say this because of just how often and how much this happens, and I think it's entirely based on the fact that people aren't taught how to behave on the internet. It's not No Man's Land in a war zone, it's a giant collection of memes that are meant to make you laugh and smile.))

This picture is actually of Advent Sakuya though, who is admittedly better than normal Sakuya. Actually, practically all of the advent characters are much better than their normal counterparts, but I like advent Sakuya the best, with Letty being a close second.))
((She does kind of pull a Dio though, because it's revealed she pauses time for a brief period to summon all of her knives, and then once it unpauses she starts throwing them all like a maniac. Which has led to funny comics pertaining just as to where she gets all of these knives, with most of them being her stealing them from kitchens all across gensokyo.
