Character Biography (At least 250 Words, or denied):I was born as every normal child was, or at least every child I knew. Raised as a young lady, my mother had stayed home and had taken care of me while father worked two jobs to keep us a healthy family. Once I was of the right age my mother helped me learn the basics of a housewife. Most daughters in my village were taught in cooking, gardening, cleaning and so-on. I never took interest, or did well, in such subjects. Making me a very awkward person to teach. Gradually my skills got worse and worse till I was a clumsy mess, slipping and tumbling around my work areas.
It was a few years later when I finally got taken into men's work. Now my mother worked on her own, and mind you both she and I knew it wasn't easy, so I helped every once in a while. Mainly, I spent hours of my leisure time, practicing the subjects that my father trained me in. I cut wood, I attempted mining, a little bit of farming here and there. Still, no matter how much I practiced, I still wasn't good enough! My planks were crooked, the rocks would only squeal at my picking, I won't even mention the mishaps with the fertilizer.
Now, at times like this, my parents were getting worried and desperate. They tried to teach me all they could but for some reason, it never worked. This was when something clicked in my brain, what if there's something I haven't tried yet? I thought to myself for hours, even days for what I could be missing. Without anymore haste I hit the books, viciously flipping through piles and piles, days and nights without any luck until I came across one particular subject, magic. I looked up several articles on magic, pouring myself into all the knowledge I could soak up. By the time I was finished I had earned myself a vast knowledge on the wonders of spells and these people called 'mages'. Feeling pretty confident in my abilities I gained knowledge of some spells and tried them out. To my suprize, that was a failure too...
I sighed in depression as I set the books down. Then continued reading up on the subject. My eyes analyzed every single word on the page, trying to understand it. After every book I wrote I tried another crack at it, each time more and more failures. I came across an odd word, "apprentice" this book said, and I thought to myself 'what could this word mean?' I wondered, taking the book downstairs to my father and almost forcing him to explain it. Now I understood everything. Of course I had to learn from the best! See it cast for myself, get to know the spells and wisdom of magi.
I had Grown quite a lot since my failures. I had continued reading and failing my experiments, getting a few good injuries , though they weren't fatal. My life up to this point really didn't have much of a purpose as I studied most of what I could on mages.
Now I shall embark on my journey for an apprenticeship as a mage. Having this education will help me to find a job and finally gain something worth living for in my life. I also hope I can start building a family in a lovely home. These hopes may be far-fetched, but I suppose much can happen on one's adventure to glory.
Quite nice, yes, I admit, but for one thing. No magic should have been learned outside the college, even if it did fail every attempt. And it will be nice having another Female character in the RP! :3
