    Name: Blanchet LeBissette

    Age: 31

    Race: Human

    Physical Description:

With a rather slender frame, Blanchet stands at around an average height. Her somewhat pale tone compliments her argent, silvery hair alongside her deep blue eyes. Despite her hair showing a sign of the elderly, Blanchet maintains a rather lively and chic posture whenever she is in the presence of others. Among all of the wardrobes she owns, her favorite happens to be the gold-trimmed red and black dress-cloak with the strapless dress and sleeves with her hair kept neatly in a gold-trimmed black knit cap.

    Screen capture of your skin:

Biography (Minimum 225 words. Most very fleshed-out characters have around 300, but feel free to use even more than that if you wish. Try and avoid clichés such as loved one being killed by bandits or the like):

Born to Adélaïde and Maël LeBissette, Blanchet was the oldest sibling of the youngest generation of the LeBissette clan, a sophisticated and tightly-knit family of tailors and leatherworkers situated inside the Crownlands. Housed inside their mixed-use apartment located above the tailor studio and family-run clothing store, the space was moderately cramped for Blanchet, her parents, her three younger sisters, and one younger brother. Living above a clothier and around fabric for all of her childhood, Blanchet grew a natural appetite for fashion. With Blanchet's first sewing kit gifted to her by her Aunt Léontine, her biggest inspiration and most influential role-model, the young clothier was born once again, except for this time, into the world of fashion. With her first few years of sewing and fabric experience, Blanchet would repair holes and scrapes in her younger siblings clothes whenever they would rend their shirts and pants while playing outside or create small dresses and garments for the her younger sister's dolls. While attending the university many LeBissettes attended and near the middle of her twenties, Blanchet completed her first major project, a Royal Ball dress for a certain regal attendant of utmost importance. A few days laters after the Royal Ball, the young LeBissette caught word of the gossip about the dress she created. While there were some that thought differently, this was Blanchet's first victory in the world of fashion. It was from here, Blanchet's dream was realized. She wanted to become the most popular Clothier and most successful LeBissette in all of Enris.

While the glamorous and fabulous life of fashion and fabrics were what Blanchet excelled in, the stories and rumors of the Undead Scourge struck a certain chord of fear within Blanchet's soul. Many years prior, one day while playing outside in the street with the second oldest LeBissette child, Blanchet's sister, Félicienne, the two were harassed by a random feral mutt. Despite no actual fighting between the beast and girls, Blanchet made a promise to her sister that she would keep her family safe no matter what. Remembering the promise she made to her sister those many years ago, the young clothier felt a certain obligation to her family and her homeland to keep whatever she could safe from the evils despite knowing that she would be absolutely useless in any sort of fight. Knowing that Aunt Léontine worked in the Inner City's Guard Reserves, Blanchet approached her aunt with an unforeseen confidence from the young LeBissette. Blanchet asked for the very, barebone basics of ranged archery. Blanchet knew that these lands would see days of dark despair not only from the hordes of the reanimated, but also those which are evil which to claim control over the lands during the times of turmoil, and that one day she would ultimately be useless. With the grand ego of the LeBissette Clan dwelling within her, she was not going to let some rotting, grub-infested puddles of reanimation ultimately spell her demise.

Years after learning how to use a simple bow and arrow, a certain thought struck Blanchet. If she focused too much on her archery skills or fashion creations, would she fall behind in the one she didn't work with the most? With hardly any logical reasoning and possibly fate at hand here, Blanchet signed up for an archery contest despite having no formal training. Despite coming in nearly dead-last and incredibly embarrassed at her lack of skill, she recognized a few of her clothes designs among the crowdgoers. Although none of the crowdgoers wearing the near 30 year-old LeBissette's fashion line recognized the creator of their clothes, Blanchet discovered something that she could do that had most likely never been done before. Bursting through the front door of her own mixed-use apartment/clothier, she hurried herself upstairs to begin a new project before anybody could find out that she's working on a new project. With her bow on her back and sewing kit in hand, she scurried over to her workstation to begin something more revolutionary than her own fashion. With the bow retired, Blanchet began her most ambitious project to date...

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation):

Blanchet wishes to become the most popular and successful clothier in all of Enris, and keep her current project under wraps until it's time to reveal.

    Strengths (Both physical and personality):

Blanchet has very little training with archery, so she knows how to handle a bow, but this doesn't necessarily translate to skill. Working with fashion and original clothing, Blanchet has a higher sense of creativity. Being raised as a LeBissette, Blanchet has the traditional clan sense of high manners and elegant eloquence. Also being raised as a LeBissette, Blanchet has developed her own confidence through her rather large ego. When Blanchet begins working on a project or for a goal, her stubbornness will provide the drive for her to finish whatever she may be working on.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.):

Despite Blanchet having aforementioned high manners and elegant eloquence, she may come off rude to some, however she means no intentional harm. Although, Blanchet's stubbornness may drive her to complete a project or goal, that same stubbornness may hinder her from completing other important goals or projects. While Blanchet is able to use a bow and arrow, she has no experience in battle with this form of weapon let alone any sort of fighting experience. This lack of battle experience combined with her stubbornness to complete a goal may lead to a problem. Blanchet also sometimes spends too much money on luxuries which may indicate that she doesn't manage her income and expenditures very well.

What is your character's personality? (Optional; use this field to note character traits that you feel don't fit into either strengths or weaknesses if you wish):

An often happy and carefree person looking for fun most of the time, Blanchet may appear to be rather stubborn when it comes to working for a goal or project. Her manners and eloquence were raised up ever since she was a child since she is a LeBissette, however she may come off a bit rude, however she means no intentional harm as she simply happens to speak her mind whenever she pleases. With her rather large ego, Blanchet does find herself to be superior over most others, however this does not necessarily mean she treats others with disdain. Growing up a LeBissette, Blanchet attended the family-tradition university for those who were more financially and intellectually gifted. Although she never really cared about making friends at her university, she intently studied fashion and design in order to fulfill her dream of becoming successful.

Hey, almost done with my app. Yeah I know, it took a while. I had some set backs. But I have a question. My stupid computer doesn't load the reply box and I don't want to try to copy the files to my phone then copy and paste it, cause that would be annoying. Can I just post it on the Enjin site? Thanks in advance.

I believe you can PM it to any of the whitelisters. If a whitelister does get back to you, I'd recommend sending a follow-up message to the other whitelisters stating that you've already been reviewed.

The server is currently running 1.7.5 because our resident coder for all life and existence (and plugins), Baeshra, created each of the plugins from scratch.

Questions or comments?: I have no idea if any races other than Humans are allowed, but I can hope.

Unfortunately, there are no other races other than humans as of right now. Are there going to be other races? Most likely not. Nonetheless, I'd recommend fixing the app before you get reviewed by a whitelister.

    Character Information

    Name:
    Lucy Bodengräber

    Age:
    20

    Class:
    Craftsman / Miner

    Physical description:
Lucy's fairly slim stature leaves her at around average height and hardly under-average weight. Usually being hunched over digging in the ground or reading in the family's library, Lucy walks and sits with a slight slouch. A bit of her hair is usually found carelessly dangling out from under her brown bandana. The safety excavation goggles sit right on her forehead over her hair majority of the time they're not over her eyes. Lucy's slightly rosey cheeks compliment her jade green eyes, or as her mother called her, "Olive Eye Lucy" when she would wear her goggles while excavating.

    Screen capture of your skin:

Biography (Minimum 300 words. No clichés such as loved one being killed by robbers or the like.):
Born to Emily and Magnus Bodengräber, Lucy was the child of these two well-off, middle-class, self-employed archaeologists. Located in Braxia, the Bodengräber family resides within the mixed use apartment in the space above the small-time, family-run museum and library. Actively watching and participating her parents and reading many of the anthropology books in their library, Lucy began to develop a thirst for archaeology. The young, aspiring archaeologist's mother gave her an excavation tool set, and it's been a part of the young Bodengräber's person ever since. As time went on, Lucy began to develop her own skillset of archaeology, varying tremendously from her parents' skills. Lucy's parents would take the upmost caution in preserving an excavation site and remain as clean as possible during their sessions by putting thick mats down as to not dirty their knees while kneeling and gloves to prevent dirt from touching their hands. Lucy's style varies tremendously. Her style is very dirty, reckless, and negligent; her parents' excavations are very clean, meticulous, and thorough. Time went on, and Lucy is still as reckless in the dirt as ever, but she cherishes the fact that she is blessed with such a gift of an interest, but despises how many artifacts she has desolated over the years.
Around Lucy's 16 birthday, she received a letter from the Braxian University of Anthropology inviting her and her father to attend and teach classes at the institution, respectively. During the young Bodengräber's time there at the university, Lucy has slowly been expanding her archaeology skillset, but unfortunately neglecting her learning of the history of older civilizations. Even though Lucy is constantly reminded to slow down and take her time during excavations, her burning soul for quickly getting things done easily push this out of the way and continue to hinder her abilities. After 3 years spent at the university, she graduated (nearly from the bottom of the class) and barely passed her final excavation exam (almost nearly destroying the exam piece).
During Lucy's 20 Birthday, as a tradition of the Bodengräber name, Lucy is readying to be sent out into the world (Technically, against her will since she loathes having to do this) to fulfill the Bodengräber rite of passage from child to adult. In order to complete the Bodengräber rite of passage, Lucy must discover and publish a great find; it could be as simple as a fine piece of jewelry all the way up to a colossal statue. Although Lucy's laziness and stubborness wants to resist leaving at all costs, she can't help but want to be sent out to discover something great and start her archaeology career as she deems fit. With the new Braxian colonization movement, Lucy deems that this may be the best way for her to discover something and so begins her journey to Roland's Field and adulthood.

What is your character’s main goal? (Motivation):
Lucy wishes to become a world-renowned archaeologist and discover a lost wonder

    Strengths (Both physical and personality):
Doing puzzles and being forced to (by her parents) read many science books as a younger child, Lucy has grasped a a higher ability for problem solving, albeit her clumsiness and sometimes sheer laziness will hinder these thoughtful insights. The young Bodengräber woman has gained fine hand-eye coordination over the years as an aspiring archaeologist, but her continuous sense of getting things done as quickly as possible usually renders this skill more of a liability. While usually a hindrance, Lucy's brash stubbornness may occasionally push her to complete a usually more difficult task. Lucy's happy-go-lucky attitude usually keeps her spirits and ambitions high above many of the others' she is around.

Weaknesses (Balance out yours character's strengths with suitable weaknesses. Not knowing how to do something that is outside of your class is not a weakness. I.E. Not knowing how to use a bow as a miner.):
Due to being covered in dirt, grime, and sweat from head to toe during excavation hours, she tends to get sick more often and more easily. Lucy's aforementioned stubbornness may get in the way of not completing or incorrectly completing even the simplest task or even anger and frustrate some of those around her. Lucy's speedy, reckless excavation methods may render an entire excavation useless as she has mutilated many artifacts and treasures. The young Bodengräber's laziness and inattentiveness has caused much of her archaeology university time to go to waste as much went in through one ear and straight out the other, leaving her with little to hardly any useful knowledge of any previously discovered artifacts, structures, and civilizations. Lucy also lacks both higher athletic and fighting ability.

In-Character-Responses (ICRs. For each scenario, write at least a paragraph describing entirely in-character how your character would respond to the situation. Your ICRs will be used to see how well you can RP. Please post them as if in IC chat. An example can be found after this form.)

Due a recent accident, you wander the dark quiet streets of the town with a broken ankle trying to make your way home:
Struggling to hobble down the dimly lunar-lit cobble road, Lucy parks her behind atop a pallet of empty fruit crates for a momentary rest. She slides her head back against the cool brick wall behind her, mindless of the rear strap of her goggles uncomfortably digging into the back of her head.
"Out of all the times for me to go on and pull a stunt like this..."
Lucy peers up at the moon and recollects the other time she broke her wrist during the night while trying to hop a fence at the university. Still looking upwards, closing her eyes and licking her fairly chapped lips, her stomach lets out a bellowing growl.
"...it had to be when I'm alone... And hungry..."
The hungry, young Bodengräber slumps her head forward in slight frustration and releases a sigh which seemed to be held in for eternity. Noticing a small, fairly-spoiled peach leftover in one of the crates near her feet, she shakes her head in and simply holds a flat palm towards the fruit in refusal.
"I'd rather starve... C'mon now Lucy... The quicker we get home, the better and sooner we get to eat..."
Gritting her teeth and holding in a plethora of swears, she regains balance back on her feet, and begins the same stumbling limp on the lonely cobble road back home.

In a tavern, a stranger threatens you to fight him/her:
With the flat slap of a gold coin against the forehead of the dim-witted, burly, ox of a man's shimmering, bald head, the brute powerhouse releases a stream of anger breath from his nostrils. Angered beyond any reasonable point, the brute slams his stein down against the counter and now hulking upwards, shoves his chair out his chair out from underneath. As he turns around to see who the coin assailant may be, many of the other tavern-goers stare in absolute silent fright at the brute's seething temper... Except for Lucy. She continues to flip a coin from her thumb and catch it as she sits with rather intellectual looking fellow, also staring at the brute, holding what appears to be an old artifact from a dig site. A small coin purse filled with the gold pieces sit is spilled out in front of Lucy.
"Hey! You didn't gyp me now, did you? You said 12 gold pieces! Not 11! I gotta buy some grub with this, ya' know."
As Lucy digs through the coin purse to recount her newly aqcuired money, the massive brute releases yet another stream of breath from his nostrils down onto Lucy's head and casts a shadow over the young Bodengräber. The fellow sitting with Lucy points up and quietly quivers in his seat.
"What? You are keeping out on me! Cat got- your... T-tongue?"
Lucy rears her head upwards to see the man viciously staring directly down into her eyes, and the gold piece still somehow stuck to the brute's greasy, red forehead.
    "I-I found it... Heeheehehe-"
"You're in for a world of hurtin' goggle girl..."
Scared out of her mind and also quivering in her seat, Lucy barely hears the crack of battle-worn knuckles behind her.
    "A-Are you sure? B-Because I don't quite think-"
Lucy quickly forms a V with her fingers and pokes the brute in the eyes causing him to fly backwards and the coin to land in the palm of her hand she speared the contused brute with. Lucy dances and dodges around the table while quickly gathering up all of the money on the table into the coin purse and grabs ahold of the sleeve of the fellow while the ox of a man squalls out profanities in pain flailing, hoping to catch his ocular assailant. As the furious powerhouse regains his vision and bearings, all he manages to see is everyone in the tavern either snickering or in awe, an empty table in front of him, and the tavern door swaying from someone passing through.

Your superior asks for a favour you would have problem doing:
Lucy lazily reclines in a chair in the supplier's quarters at the Braxian University of Anthropology.
"Lucy, I need you to go get a package for me at-"
Lucy throws her head back in a small fit of irritation and releases a dull sigh. The supplier light face-palms at Lucy's already apparent lazy subordination and sighs as well.
"Oh, come on! Why do I have to go get it? Why can't Ghory or any of the other students go get it?"
The supplier twirls the hair of his rather short beard around his index finger and readies himself for a small chastising.
"Because, young lady, Ghory and the other students actually care about their grades here at the Braxian Uni-"
Lucy cuts off the supplier with a swift burst of gibberish and holds her hands up as if she is surrendering. She hops up from the seat and starts making her way towards the door.
"Fine. I'll go get it, just don't give me another one of those horrible ' *obnoxious impersonation* actually caring about their grades here at Braxian University of Anthropology because they have-' Whatever! I'll go get the package! I'll be back in a bit..."
As Lucy leaves the supplier's office, she rudely shuts the door behind her and paces off down the hall slightly chuckling.
"Thank goodness that girl finally got some sens-"
Realizing Lucy simply left without even caring to retrieve the package, the supplier quickly rockets out and over his desk to rip the door open to catch Lucy before she's too far. He pokes his head out the door only to see empty halls on both sides.
    "Damn it!"

Alright. I'll take that in mind. If I have goggles, I'll be sure to write it out somewhere in my backstory as to why I have them.

Also, will it become more steampunk-y along the way of RP?

There's always the possibility of that becoming true, but from what I've seen and heard, I believe it will become more fantasy AND steampunk, but similar to what I stated before, there's also the possibility it will lean to only one side. That's primarily up to the players which path they wish to take. The least I can say is join us and wait and see then adjust according as such.

You're spot-on! We're somewhere between Steampunk and standard High Fantasy.
But be sure not to add too much steampunk to a skin though. From the way the server currently looks and runs, brass knobs, bolts, screws, and plates (And etc) aren't a common sight just yet. A traditional steampunk skin (You know, red/brown leather, goggles, that whole fancy garb) wouldn't fit in as well as opposed to an ordinary fantasy alchemist skin.

While I am debating on applying or not, are there any other specific towns/cities other than Elysium? More specifically those which have a carrier/mailer sort of office/business? I'm asking because I do not wish to infringe on the already established lore (That is unless it is not-frowned upon to create a small town/establishment for character backstory purposes [From the server I am currently "hiatus'ing" from, it was fairly problematic]).

I'm a tad bit bored since the server is currently down, and since Ze and Welk aren't here, I suppose I could help out with the apps.

    Accepted
Xgron: This app was splendid since there is now somewhat of a plot to it, and I highly enjoyed reading about Kegi! He seems like quite the interesting character. I'd love to see what you do with his cynical character in the future.

    Denied
jackp132: You seem to have your definitions down pat, but sorry! It's still doesn't meet the 250 word requirement. I see you can speak like an orc well and give the good ol' orc spirit though! All I need is a well written backstory! That's what I'd really love to see! If you can put that in your next app, you might as well call yourself a member of Book of Halegron!

ashblossom: I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it looks like your app doesnt quite reach the 250 word requirement! There is one thing I would like to clarify though. You mention that Ash and Swift would go venture into the forest, but the next sentence said that they became survival experts. Has there been a time-skip or did they master the survival skills at an early age? If you were to clarify that and perhaps add more to the bio, I'm sure you will be accepted the next time around!

Redgigs: You might want to revise your Metagaming definition as it looks a bit "wonky." One thing that I do not quite understand is that Seep would mine with the others when he was younger, but he does not currently since he is with the military forces, correct? Fix the definitions and add a bit more about your character's personality to your next bio. There will be no doubt in my mind that you could be accepted the next go!
