I'm a relatively new player looking to start playing on a multi-player server.
I just tried to connect using the IP in the first post but was unable.. was just wondering if you guys are still open to new people?

We are currently still in 1.6.4, everyone with a 1.7 client won't be able to connect and need to downgrade first before joining.
Most staff are joining daily and because of different time zones around the globe, we are able to help most people out no matter what time it is
I also know of some who are from Australia, and its just so awesome to be able to almost always have someone on who can assist those on the server. The epicness of the server continues to grow, and its already be running for 3 years!
Because of the activity every day, more people join and some of them are willing to send a small gift to the administrators. This allowes them to keep it safe and running!
I'm hoping to be part of this community for a very long period of time
It's great that there are so many staff members that are from all around the world. We got people from Europe and from the US.
This makes it more likely for a staff member to be on.
Just wanted to say that someone who joined about 3 weeks ago just achieved the Deputy rank, Congrats Kyle! He didn't ask or beg or mention it. He was a builder and he was helping when the need arose. Just goes to show you anything is possible, you just have to be at the right place at the right time. This server is the right place, and now is your time.
