Interesting idea, terrible execution; this mod was basically made to make an unrealistic game, even more unrealistic. The functionality in this mod pretty much sounds like the creature took features that he thought sounded stupid, and removed them, and thus replaced them with features, that are even dumber. A failed attempt to remake the game, probably out of spite, and how the game should run. All in all, a mod that has less use than IC2.

Well Flowerchild has stated on multiple occasions realism for realism sake is not a design goal and can often be a liability so you are descriptively wrong there. For example gearboxes need to have atleast 1 block between them that's an axle. Why is this when in reality gears can be directly connected to each other. As he states it's to place constraints on building and design. This demands a bit more thought when you construct your power exchange system and requires you to sink a bit of your own design philosophy into it's construction making it feel like you had a significant role in its' production. Much of what this mod offers is to give you an actual reason to automate becuase in vanilla there is no real reason to automate. In addition there are many early game additions that make survival a much greater chore and more rewarding when you realize how secure you've become when you have a mob trap feeding you endless iron, a cow farm provisioning you unlimited leather and beef and a crucible for renewing your tools.

In vanilla if you want feathers you just breed chickens and jump into a pen and slaughter them. in btw you actually need to construct some artifice that feeds adn collects, hatches, incubates and then

infects chickens only so they detonate (not very realistic) with soul energy.

Could you really say jumping into a animal pen and madly swinging your sword about to harvest animal products is a good design concept?

You've not really cited anything specifically you have a problem with this mod, maybe you cannot?

    .....did it work?

No. Tried a few things and no dice but i have an idea. There are multiple states wolves can exist in and i haven't tried the wild, untammed state. I've made my own feral wolves and they just won't produce hearts but i have a memory - it might be a false one - of seeing a wild wolf attack a sheep and get hearts effect. If this works then i would just have to cart 2 wild wolves back to my base. Thank god my mobtrap is producing iron.

I am no expert but Mesh aka Mornay stated that there was a way to automate the feeding of wolves which going by your post appears to be the missing piece of the puzzle.

Well i have the internal logic down, a T-flip flop, a turn table and a chicken on a pressure plate. I can get two dispensers to fire out 2x2 = 4 kibble or chicken or pork or whatever but the 2nd piece will be ignored and no hearts will occur. I'm not sure you can do it unless you actually actively right click food manually so i might just have to make an Array of wolves and manually run down the line right clicking them, will have to try when i get home.

Well i'm starting to run into trades that demand wolfchops so i decided to upgrade my crap automation system with two adjacent systems so wolves can breed and then it suddenly occurred to me i might have to manually feed wolves to get them toe reproduce. My wolf ran right over raw chicken and ignored it yet ate it when i right clicked it on him producing hearts. Can you automate wolf production?

    Quote from Hakumisoso

Yes, the thermal paste is pre applied to the heatsink.

But why would you use the stock heatsink anyways? its a k cpu so you are overclocking right?

No i have never overclocked and really don't know much about it. I just got a good deal on the K from Superbiiz. Perhaps a year or two from now when the system is strained performance wise i can yank the stock off and buy additional components for cooling but its' something i will have to research extensively as i live in the tropics.

I havn't found any verification that the Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116504&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

comes with thermal paste and so I am wondering if i need to buy some separately. I saw one un-boxing video that seemed to show the bottom conductive plate, the one that touches the process, have few strips of gray across it so i am assuming that most stock processors come with fans already loaded with paste.

Thanks for the help guys, i finally pulled the trigger and did all my buying last night, at least of most of the critical components.

That was in relation to the 660 Ti.

Ahh i see, good call. For another 10 bucks i can get the 760. i Have since changed it on your advice. Still i would rather pay more now for a processor/mainboard, i can always replace the video card later to squeeze some more performance out of my system. I have done this twice while maintaining the other systems.

Does it even have proper airflow?

Does it even have modern ATX mounts?

I have about 4 independent fans.

I'm not sure when modern ATX mounts where introduced or what they even do. Should i just go ahead and get a new case ?

It's still absolutely terrible for the price, spending way too much on your peripherals and your graphics card is outclassed by both the 7950 and 760.

    I'm lost

the numbers 7950 and 760 don't have a point of reference.
The processor has neither number series in it nor does the mainboard or the memory.

OKay i made some modifications. What do you guys think ?

    http://pcpartpicker.com/user/Rafe009/saved/2VQw

I have an old case that goes way back – about ten years – when the EPOX KT33 was a good mainboard. It’s been through a lot but I haven’t used it much in the last 5 years. I figure it is still good. ATX is still a mainstay so what more needs to be said about that, nothing has changed as far as I know so I’m sure you guys would give me the go ahead unless there is a concern I haven’t considered.

I guess around 1000 usd. No monitor, no peripherals. I'll factor those in separately. Windows 8.1

Do i really need all this power ? I Don't think i' going to duel sli or overclock

I'm heavily leaning toward the SDD but still am not sure if there is some sort of SATA bottlneck that i have to verify to determine if i'm not getting full use of out the SDD. Since nobody brought this up as a concern i'm guessing i got some bad information on SDD's being bottlenecked by motherboard inputs.
