Some of you are just saying "oversuggested!" and "just use item frames!" (im paraphrasing of course)
I did search this, and didn't see this in the first page. (i don't feel like searching through EVERY SINGLE POST to see if it's been suggested before. sorry if that upsets you.)
Item frames are not the same thing. Item frames require a block to be placed on while this is like a 2 block high stand. (i may not have edited it to include that when you posted it. if so sorry :/)
There already is something like that, Twilight forest in FTB. While there are little things in FTB I'd like to see in Vanilla, I do not want Vanilla/main Minecraft turning into FTB.
For starters, twilight forest is not just FTB. FTB takes a bunch of mods that are meant to be alone and incorporates them together (very nicely i might add)
and secondly, just because it says twilight forest doesn't make it the twilight forest mod. he means thick bunches of tall trees.
Peaceful is supposed to be balanced. It makes you virtually invincible while sacrificing the help from the mobs and their drops. So no support for the "toggle mobs in peaceful" part. there is a /gamerule doMobgriefing <true/false> for the creeper thing. No support
If you want to be realistic, the handle is wooden too, so the entire sword would burn up.
This IS the same thing as a fire aspect sword except easier to obtain, so you could have a fire aspect sword... on fire. that would be annoying to see because it's like double fire and the same effect happens.
Also please do not post the same thing twice. I'm pretty sure that can be considered spam. If you want to change your original idea, edit the post.
So i was thinking "Well, golden armor sucks, but it sure is fancy! It would be a nice decoration. Wait, armor... decoration... Armor Stands?"
It would be a cool way to show off your armor on servers, it would be a really nice decoration.
(Imagine a castle with suits of Iron armor in the hallways.)
It could be crafted very simply. How about (P=wooden planks, any kind S=sticks)

(sticks should be in the middle. Can't make it show that. sorry )
It would have a GUI so you can take the armor on and off of the stand.
You will be able to put all armor pieces on it (Chestplate, boots, etc.)
Weapons should not go on it since its an armor stand and not a weapon stand
The armor could also be displayed in a 3D way, kind of like taking a character wearing armor, and replacing the character with the stand. (Meaning it's 2 blocks high)
Please give me your suggestions and your opinion on this
This would be very annoying in my eyes, I wouldn't mind sort of trampling grass you step on too much so it just turns into dirt, but gravel or other blocks just seems so weird and unnecessary. Maybe if you sprint across a grass block there's a chance it will turn back to dirt?
Yeah this seems like a much better idea than what he proposed.

Also, i support this suggestion
