Seriously is there anything usefull left to invent? I can image a few tricks with falling sand but it seems like everything has been done
Is there any way to safely launch mobs or animals using TNT? A catapult/cannon that could launch pigs or creepers without killing them would be pretty awesome!

That'S exactly how the mod works.
If you want more details I guesS you should look at the pc version, As it'll probably be like that.
Anyway, What do you think are the chances that they include the falling animation, rather than the sand just teleporting to the floor like the mod?

Also guys, I've managed to make a TNT cannon with a Range Of....... 60 BLOCKS.
used Three of theses beasts to destroy a fort containing 80 creepers.
Haha I don't know why but TNT cannons are the funnest thing for me right now.. it's just so satisfying to build something awesome, fill it with mobs and blow everything to hell. Anyway, by instant I mean just punching some redstone or breaking a single block to set off all the tnt with the right timing and order to make the cannon shoot. I'm pretty sure this is impossible without mods but I have an entire line of cannons along the outer wall of my castle and it would be amazing if I could just run down the line and unleash an epic barrage >=]
Anyway I got nothing new what are we working on or trying to solve until 6.0 comes out?

Is there any pseudo redstone trick that people can't seem to get to work? I have been looking for a challenge and after the instant signal trick was finished I have no idea what is useful anymore

If you place ladders on something easy to remove (I used diamond blocks) and then use your editor to replace those blocks with air, the ladders will remain even though it's not connected to anything. If you break the bottom ladder all of the ladders above it will break ( just like signs) and cause updates all the way up the ladder. Like I said, not too exciting but maybe turning adjacent blocks to air may have some other cool effects on certain objects, something new for us to play with until 6.0 comes =]

Super TNT cannon with range of above 30 blocks!!!
I think the trick is to activate all TNT at the same time, rather than having loads of TNT that activate at different times.
that's where 500Ise water signals mod comes in.
it activates three TNTs at once.
the TNT cannon design I have can shoot TNT in 180 Degrees (Not just forward)
creepers watch out

I know.. we have a million ways to activate our machines but we need them to actually do some new stuff. Is there ANY way to activate TNT other than a creeper explosion? I would love to create an instant TNT cannon..

I'm sure you guys know that breaking a block of ice turns it into flowing water. Also, making lava touch a block of ice will eventually make it melt which turns it into flowing water which creates a signal and can generate some cobblestone. A cool thing I found is that If you place a block of ice directly above stationary lava and break the ice it turns the lava into obsidian! It's pretty messy cuz the melted ice water will flow down onto the obsidian block and flow everywhere but this gives us an obsidian generator!

anyway, I think fence gates act as an entity when open..Can someone verify?
I think this because
A its not dependent on other blocks.
it basically becomes fully intangible, whereas with open trapdoors you can stand on the edge of it
Cool idea! A mob prison would be a lot of fun to create and would be an excellent target for a TNT CANNON!!
What do you mean about an open fence gate being an entity? I can try to help I'm just not sure what you mean exactly.
Jan 23, 2013Thanks RUS, I'm just glad I could contribute - I've been following this topic since the beginning and it's the whole reason I decided to get on the forums. I can't wait till 6.0 comes to see what else we can come up with. Until then I'm trying out the farmland mob detector with non-zombie mobs and I'm working on a sheep activated signal. In theory the grass being eaten should cause the update. It'd be a pretty awesome way to open a door - a signal creates a water flow that forces a trapped sheep onto a piece of grass and you'd hafta wait for it to eat it lol. It's after 3am here in Germany so I need to crash but thanks again I'm glad you guys like my ideas and I'm glad I could help with this awesome topic!Posted in: MCPE: Clans

BTW the farmland mob detector works! I've only tested it with zombies so far but if they jump on farmland enough it will change back to dirt causing the update! To test it I made a fence around a rectangle of dirt blocks with regular water in the middle squares and hoed the dirt to make the farmland. There has to be water touching the farmland otherwise the farmland has a chance of going back to dirt on its own. The water guarantees it will become fertile and won't disappear. Anyway I waited till the farmland was fertile and placed some zombies inside the fence and sure enough! When they jump on the farmland just right it goes back to dirt and updates. I tested it a bunch of times with stationary water and it works, them jumping on it definitely cause the farmland to convert back to dirt and the update caused the water to flow. I'm going to try testing it with other mobs =]

I'm glad you like my motion detector idea - I've tested it a lot it definitely works. I've been playing around with trying to find a mob detector that doesn't involve the creeper explosions. Unfortunately nothing they does updates blocks believe me I have TRIED. It's too bad that arrows don't update redstone like snowballs do. Haha yea I don't know if you guys knew but throwing snowballs at redstone works just like punching it they open doors too. Right now i'm trying to see if getting mobs to jump on farmland will cause it to change back to dirt like when the player jumps on it but I haven't had any luck. In the meantime I'll work on some new mob grinders that's always fun =]
