    I am happy to report this pack works with Feed The Beast Ultimate on 1.4.7 (install by copying classes into a zip file and adding it as a JarMod). I had to remove ban.class but that's probably because I'm also using Optifine. (Also seeing that f3 bug but eh, thought I'd let y'all know)

    This feels slightly like shooting yourself in the foot. I saw this on Reddit, I want to use it over other biome mods, but I can't. Why? The server I'm running is heavily Forge-invested. Honestly, I bet it would run on Forge if you could just ditch ModLoaderMP (which doesn't like forge for some reason). Whether this would give SMP support, I don't know, but it would be a lot better than "go find another mod".

    I would like to second the request to be able to convert the shadow/deep iron ore into regular iron via some method. Additionally, perhaps a semi-rare metal that can convert... something to diamond. Stuff like Buildcraft guzzles iron, redstone, gold, and diamond like it's candy. I'm resorting to imposing an exchange rule on my server right now =p

    Sorry to be a pest, this really is a fun mod ^^

    So just wanted to say I've been having fun with the mod, but it seems just a touch bland in some spots. Do you have any plans to expand the features and usage of the metals? Like make Sanguinite have a chance of healing you on proper tool usage, maybe making one of the fantasy ores slowly drop XP, etc.

    You need to set it as a prefix to your message of the day. Also note that if that's the message that shows up in the server connect menu and not one that pops up when you actually join, then it's the wrong place to look.

    A quick question or two on the ore generation properties -




    Copper Height=128
    Copper Minimum Height=0
    Copper Ore Count=6
    Copper Vein Count=12

    Ore count is how much it generates in a vein each time? What's the variation on this? And Vein count is per (old-style) chunk?

    I'm going to try this mod, looks really cool, but I have one question: Does the ore finder map work with mod/custom ores? The reason I ask is because I'm looking for a mod that adds an ore detector but one that's not omgwtfbbq broken in terms of how easy it makes ores to find. (Using, you guessed it, Metallurgy)

    Thanks. Still hunting for a not OMGWTFBBQ broken ore detector mod, but that's another story.

    So in the previous iteration of the Painterly textures for this mod, the Nether metals didn't have custom brick block textures nor were any of the alloy bricks skinned. Therefore, I present:

    Thanks for the help ^^ Up and running now on my server and it just works! Far cry from supposed SMP support on a few big-name mods with a bunch of jiggering and not even working then.

    Bonus question: How out-of-date are these painterly textures? The one I can most nearly identify as MetallurgyBaseMetals seems to be missing the entire set of Zinc textures. I'll probably go grab the dev pack and start whacking away at buffing them up to date, in fact...
