and one last thing - i will never do anything malicious to this map. i just want to play this awesome custom survival map on the latest minecraft version (and maybe share it with the community)

All I ask is that I get some credit for all the work I did in the 1.8 version. So anything 1.9+ is all you. there is a lot of loot for single player, especially if you are pro and don't die much. but in multiplayer it is more balanced. When I play in single player I simply pass on some things.

If you are looking to complete the Victory Monument you need to locate that as well. FYI, not every building has a boss but most do. There are also bosses in some of the out lying areas like the Clay Cliff Mines. Probably about 20 of them are in the city though. There's more too but I don't want to spoil too much here. I help or give hints though if needed.

Hey all. I finally decided to call my map released! I can probably easily keep adding things to it forever but at some point I need to "complete" this thing.
A while back I published a "beta" version and it turned out it was buggy as hell. Very sorry. I fixed nearly everything and added a lot of new features.
So if you enjoy a bit of a zombie apocalypse / hack n slash / CTM / SURV then stop by Srion.
Well, after updating a ton, getting burned out, coming back, then real life getting crazy, then coming back again I got a version of Srion I am calling finished.
Here's the update log...
UPDATE #1 CHANGE LOG on 09-26-14
-Nerfed a lot of loot. I was waaaaaay too nice.
-Fixed a button on the plane that accidentally blows up the plane (sorry!).
-Fixed some redstone here and there.
-Tweaked some of the bosses to make them more interesting to fight.
-REMOVED ALL THE FREAKING COMMAND BLOCKS I LEFT ALL OVER THE PLACE THAT SPAWN BOSSES. I CAPS'd that because I am pissed at myself I did that. It was used to test and tweak the bosses.
-Had to FIX ALL THE SPAWNERS THAT WERE BROKE BECAUSE THEY HAD A BUGGED TEXTURE. This was throughout 90% of the map, major pain in the ass.
-Removed some of the random Glowstone you may find around the map. I used that to mark things while doing tests.
-Updated the museum lore from changes I made over time.
-Completely redid the teleport system.
-Removed a lot of the random **** in the random loot chests. Less random stuff and I left the more commonly used items.
THE FUN CHANGES
-Added aesthetic tweaks here and there.
-Added a way to save the villagers in The End and transport them to your base so you have your own personal butler/trader.
-Added "Berserker Mode", adds some fun gameplay!
-Added a hidden way to quickly get up the waterfall at the beginning.
-Added a safe house at the top of the waterfall so you won’t have to climb it again if you die.
-Added BASE UPGRADES. Use power cores to expand and clean up your base, add a teleport system, mob grinder, enchanting, anvils, trader, etc.
-Added a Trophy Room for the custom items and boss loot. Also has a teleport to and from Harbor Mines. Filling this room is optional. I thought it would be fun to put the items someplace more interesting than a chest or trashing them.
-Added a new system for weapons and tools. They are designed to combine numerous swords or picks to upgrade them.
-Added Rabbits and Sheep into the Chop House now that they are a source of meat.
-Added a map file into the downloaded zip (Note: may contain spoilers).
-Added a little off shore drilling rig that I actually built about 3 years ago. Found it and the scale looked about right and blammo! It’s in the map.

NOTE: this isn't a completely finished version of the map in my eyes but this project needs an end so I am calling it complete. It is about 99% complete. If I had more time I would do more.

-Moved 2 large underground areas away from everything and added a teleport to them instead. Reduced a lot of lag.
-Re-vamped the mechanism that spawns zombie hordes, much smoother and smaller.
-Fixed a couple of /playsound bugs.
-Fixed a couple of /summon...Riding... bugs (stacked mobs).
-Potions do not stack upon being dropped by a mob anymore. There were a handful of bosses that were set up to do that. So I instead created custom potions for that boss that provide various effects. Example: the Scorched Earth boss now drops a potion that provides fire resistance and a hp boost for 10-15 mins instead of dropping 10 fire resist potions in a stack. I tried to make the custom potions good options for use in other areas. So that fire resist potion will work great in another area when you find it. This will work much better then needing 10 slots of open inventory space to get all those potions.
-Fixed some biomes.
-Did a full circuit test and fixed various things like loot nerfs, broken proximity sensors, removed random glowstone markers, mob spawn coordinates, etc.
THE FUN CHANGES
-Revamped the Mushroom Caverns, new and improved boss area.
-Revamped the Inferno Canyon boss area.
-Revamped the Smile Labs boss area.
-Revamped the Catacombs a bit.
-Revamped the H2O Yeah boss area. Keep your head up!
-Put some stairs and slabs in a chest near the mountain passage if you want to easily install a staircase.
-Dressed up spawn with the landscape outside of the starting area.
-Other small changes I forgot about.

i don't know what version of the map you have but the last time I posted an update I don't have that issue. Head here and redownload the map.

Otherwise, try hitting Escape > Options > Difficulty: Normal (switch it to normal if it is on peaceful)
