Whenever I come back and visit the suggestion forums, I laugh at the sheer number of ideas that are already existent as client mods.
Anyway, try ChoclateySyrup's fancypack. It doesn't quite cover everything you describe, but it's certainly added aesthetics.
First, let me vouch for the legitimacy of this. The site really has no possible way of jacking your minecraft account, unless you are a moron and use your minecraft password.
Second, this is awesome. It truly works. Good job, sir. I think the implementation is quite clever.
If only Mojang would get behind something like this and make it universal. Really all they need to do is implement the modding API and a server to client mod/texture download protocol, and this could be universal, along with pretty much every other mod. Sorry, I'll stop my rant, but I wish mojang would at least have the decency to let the community have its fun, even if they won't develop the game.
Anyway great job, and yes, doubters, again, it does work and does not have the capacity to steal your password (at least any more than any other mod).

Okay, thanks DDL. I'm going to start with a fresh .jar tomorrow as another mod uses the fd class. I'll let you know what happens!

And that would be great, I'm rather attached to Zombe's flymod by now, and that seems to be the only conflicting class.
Probably you should just set up an SMP server using Bukkit, the essentials plugins, and the worldedit plugin for your clearing needs. Have your friends reskin and join the server and perform the necessary actions. Reskin NPC mobs as you see fit and necessary.
Also, bit of advide. Whatever you do, DO NOT save and quit while high in the sky in an airship. Bad idea. Goodbye 50 iron. Your 256 brothers back home shall take your place.

Help?
You're missing BoneLantern.png. Which means you messed something up with FancyPack. You must have missed that image somehow.
As for whoever asked for space/shift controls, I agree. It makes sense.
Also, suggestion, ps3chan: If you do add projectiles, make them ghast fireballs and use netherrack as the ammo for said projectiles.

However, a suggestion. I'm sorry, you must be tired of hearing them.
Perhaps you could integrate pchan3's steampunk airship, using an aether-whale drop to make the balloons.
Just a thought.

Sorry man, I'm face-palming right now. I hate when people get my name wrong. Many apologies, I'm usually more polite.
About the source: Of, course, it's your prerogative. I can wait.

Surprisingly good. I don't have coordinates, but it's gentle snowy hills, tundra for a long way, and a lot of winter forest.

I used TFC for convenience until it completely stopped working for me.

Yes. There's probably still some modified class files hanging around.

@petter: You're having a problem with what seems to be minecolony.
