Are there downloads for older versions? I'm dissatisfied with some of the textures that were changed in the current version.

I like the new mechanics(the way you actually go through the portal, electrical arches, and the portal firing animation), but I don't like the new models(no offense to the people who made them), and I think people should be able to choose whether or not to go with the old models and portal textures, just keep the new animations.

You realise it's still just a teaser, right? 97% of everything is not even implemented/complete yet, this is basically just a tech demo to get a glimpse of the new things to come.

3 years and still waiting for that update which brings back Fizzlers, Lasers, and See Through Portals... last time i checked everyone looked pretty much alive.

I resorted to playing the 1.4.4 Version which had the old features, but i'm stuck with having no sound from the mod. Using MagicLauncher so the mod works. I completely wiped my .minecraft folder just to place the soundpack etc. in the the /mods/ folder and the /resources/ folder, still nothing.

posted a message on Port forwarding not working, friends can't join server. Please help.

I recently created a server for my friends to join, except that port forwarding still won't let them join the server.

I'm trying to get them connected to my Forge 1.7.10 server, although i also tried with Vanilla/Bukkit. Watched every youtube tutorial ever so i'm pretty sure I have done it right.

They can't connect with my public ip even with 25565 as the port, when i use sites like http://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/ to see if my port is open it always tells me it's closed.

The port will not open no matter what I do, I am not sure if it I have not set my router to static or not, but even though I have made the server and all, the port continues to say it's closed.

    Port forwarding settings (with translation)

My ISP is Orange, router is TP-Link TL-MR3420.

I port forwarded my IPv4 Adress (doesn't change unless i use Tethering) normally as i would, started the server with server-ip left blank in server.properties, i used an Ethernet connection directly to my router to portforward. Only noteworthy thing is that my public ip changes everytime i restart the router, but that shouldn't be relevant.

Tried forwarding other ports but still get the same outcome. I tried disabling my public firewall but still it would say the port is closed.

I've been having this problem for 3 days now, PLEASE give me some help.

posted a message on Low FPS on the MSI R9 280X Gaming Edition (Average 100-110)

Is this an issue with AMD's drivers? I should be getting an average of 200-300 FPS in the game.

However from time to time my FPS dips to as low as 80-90 WITH Optifine, average FPS being 100-120 as it randomly alternates but never goes upwards of 200. I can easily run CS:GO on max settings with 200+ fps, i like to run shaders on 1.7.10 with mods so this issue may affect me for all versions. The only thing worthy of noting is that i was using the realistic terrain generator, but given how i get pretty much the same FPS on vanilla clients & newer versions, it shouldn't have an impact.

I noticed that my GPU Load is average 20% as well. Forge Mods or not, my FPS on vanilla is pretty much the same, weird thing is when i look at the ground my FPS instantly goes to 200-300, when i look at the sky or anywhere else it goes back to being under 180.

Yes. What version? Catalyst 14.9 is reliable. If you can't find it on AMD's site, guru3d.com is a good second.

Currently using Radeon Software Version 16.3.2 (Crimson) because i had problems after a few months of using installed drivers from 2014 (i think it was 14.8?), (photo gallery n stuff) but it didn't appear to fix the problem. I've noticed when i roll back drivers the AMD Radeon Settings app i downloaded stops working, unless i use the current one.

I've downgraded my drivers back to it's original state, the visual glitch of slimes, beacons flickering random colors still persists. It appears that it only happens with SEUS.

Well then, you should get playable FPS with SEUS 10.1 High, maybe even Ultra if you reduce your render distance fairly low.

But as said in my last post, AMD drivers are having some BIG issues over the past 18 months, many AMD users report poor, some time terrible performance compared to equally powered Nvidia cards, and also graphical glitches which require an older driver to be installed to fix this issue... but sadly as you're running a 300 series, this very stable and recommend driver is not available to you.
Although the 300 series is just a rehash (a slightly overclocked 200 series with a different name), the 300 series released just after the stable driver did so it's not compatible unfortunately.

I've noticed a decrease in MC game perfomance ever since i installed the radeon settings thing and updated the drivers, should i downgrade? last version i had was 14.501
