Windows 7 has the same system requirements if not lower, and supports more than XP does. After all, XP is 10 years old and support ends in April 2014. I'd go for 7 if I were you.
I used two HD5770's in CF a few months ago, which gave me a little performance boost but mainly games that were optimized for crossfire ran great on it.
Imagine you have a really old HP Compaq desktop computer. I'd say that everything there is useless and I don't know about a lot of people willing to buy a 230W PSU for example from a not known brand.
The optical drive can easily be re-used, as well as the hdd?
Where is the "both" button? I like to use multiple systems at once instead of bashing one of them. They all have their flaws and they all have its good sides.
Guess what? MY MAC (iMac G3, revision B ) PLAYS ****ING SETTLERS II. YES. IT ALSO RUNS SAM&MAX (the original, not the shitty new series) AND AGE OF EMPIRES 1 & 2.
I was busy with soem bootsticks yesterday, all you have to do is throw linux on it and set the persistent file to something below the capacity of your stick. (for example, 4GB)
Bootsticks are (almost) always formatted as FAT32, which can be accessed by Windows. (but you can't put files on it that are bigger than 4GB)
In order to make linux sticks, I always use Universal USB Installer, but there's also another program out there called UNetBootin. Haven't worked with that one, so can't tell you much about it.
I can only see sarcasm here. I agree with you if you are being sarcastic.
I am absolutely not being sarcastic. They helped me out yesterday when I needed a quick way to install Win7 without CD, and they gave me a link to an article that explained it really well and also worked. And the Xbox guys helped me with a little HDMI problem I had, all within an hour.

Also, what are your specs, anyways?

pATA still works fine for backup purposes. My torrentbox got one pATA drive and its only used to store files that aren't accessed too much.

I'm being serious. Is there really a hardware/software difference or not?

This. Volume mixer also shows which programs are currently producing sound.

There are plenty of great books out there, too. Just because you have to pay for something doesn't mean its horseshit.

How is this possibly a bad service?
