Probably also has something to do with Dell producing 4GB cards with nVidia chipsets.

I only have an Xbox 360. So, I'm clearly not a Nintendo fanboy.

And if you want proof that the Nintendo Wii and DS use a special version of Opera as their web browser, Google and Wikipedia are waiting for you.

I'm glad Firefox is getting more and more used rather than IE and I think it's a good browser, but Mozilla really needs to catch up to Opera when it comes to sheer performance. It should never lag on a dual core processor on any website! We're talking about a web browser, not a ****ing FPS game.

Oh I don't need proof, I've got a wii and a DSi and both browsers are good for nothing. the wii only supports flash 7 (thats 4 versions behind) and the ds runs out of memory when a page has more than 5 images.

Firefox uses a lot of ram but it never lags on my quadcore, and if it does, its because flash/java is being a ****.

on a side-not,e lol, installing mozilla 1.2 on my iMac G3. Like a boss.

The fact OP's name is bowserchomp and has a Bowser avatar might have to do with being a Nintendo fanboy, too.

Oh, didn't even notice that. Good point.

If you are looking for some really easy stuff that's only good for learning syntax stuff, Logo. Its made for kids but it works really well and once you get into it, you can make some pretty cool graphics with it. (I use starlogo as program for this)

And don't forget about merchandise. I have quite a lot of videogame figurines of which some cost more than the actual game! There's a lot of profit in this market, same goes for music merch. People like to wear stuff they like. An music album is 50 bucks and only gives you ~20 songs including songs from older albums. A shirt is ~20 bucks and lasts a lifetime, not to mention FREE ADVERTISING because everyone who sees the shirt will see the artist/game just like they'd do on a poster or billboard.

The industry needs to wake up and invest in other ways of making money instead of leading an endless, unwinnable battle against piracy.

i do not support piracy directly. i do however, support the piracy community against the draconian lawsuits and unlawful accuses there getting. im also against the way the music industry is doing there bussiness now. and the current copyright system needs major revision in my opinion.

you downloaded one song?! WE NOW HAVE 50 MILLION DOLLARS IN DAMAGES EVEN THO YOU DIDN'T SEED, [justfornarwhals]LAWSUIT[/justfornarwhals]

They should just have the person in question buy the song plus a fine of, whatever, 50 bucks. And they could also just lower the prices of goddamn cd's. I mean, come on, albums go out for 50 bucks.

By the way, on the topic of software piracy; developers need to go back to the old shareware system. Give out a level or two for free and if the player likes it he'll buy it. Remember commander keen? They gave you an entire game to try for free and pass around. If you liked it, you'd buy the other two episodes that follow up.

i said alienware are $4000 that means that if you have that much money in your pocket you cam get one but otherwise dont

If I had 1500 bucks to spend, I wouldn't spend it on an alienware considering I could get 3 pc's with the same specs for that money if I were to build it myself.

If something I pirated is good, then I'll buy it. Simple as that. Except for music; I refuse to pay 20 to 50 bucks for an album with barely 14 songs on it.

You want to know why Nintendo uses the Opera web browser on their Wii and DS systems? It's because Firefox is such an unoptimized and bloated piece of **** that it would crash those systems. I'm not freaking lying or trolling. That's reality.

The fact that the Wii and the DS have ******** hardware might have to do something with it, too.
