I don't/won't own any Apple products, so I do not know if that site is a joke or a hacker, ... because obviously it is impossible to "download" memory. Now, "memory optimization" utilities are another matter....
I have, however, heard that differences in Java for Windows versus for Mac can be "problematic".
Look at the bottom of the page... The whole site is a joke that does absolutely nothing. RAM is not a downloadable thing, RAM is a built in part of your computer which is possible to upgrade but it needs a RAM stick(not sure if that is the actual name) which is essentially a computer chip that you put into your computer(requires you to physically take your computer apart) and that will increase your RAM. Usually computers have a limit to how many RAM sticks(after a quick google search this is a correct term) that you can add on to your computer.
Hope this clarifies things a little, or just counteracts a troll you were trying to play on someone.
Thanks for the response. It was not my intention to blame Ex Nihilo. I just wanted to get some input on the issue and see if anyone had a fix for me. I also assumed it was simply because of a load of block updates. You have the crucibles throwing out block updates for the stone melting, the lava rising, and then there is lava in the pipes themselves. Multiply that by 55 crucibles and you've got yourself quite a load of updates being thrown out.
I don't have a massive fiber connection, but I'm by no means pressing my upload with what we have going on this 2 player server. My system usage while the server is running is minimal. CPU usage is only at 5% and RAM is sitting calmly at 3.78GB in use. I am not having any of the issues she is, but I'm also connecting to the server via LAN IP. It could be a possibility of her not allocating enough RAM herself, but I figured the error message would be different if it was that issue. It might also be relevant to say that she is connecting from Sweden while I'm sitting in Pennsylvania. Oddly enough, this is the first time I have run into this problem. I've run FTB Monster/DW20/Unleashed/etc with no issues in the past though...
I dunno, I just was hoping someone would have that key piece of information that could help out. I apologize if it sounded like I was blaming this mod for it.
You guys are missing the obvious solution...
Just download more ram.
Great mods, love using them (when they aren't disabled server side for being OP, Rainbow tree dropping a stack of super golden apples? really.... ).
I'm pretty well familiar with most of Rotarycraft+Early Reactorcraft, and I'm nearly finished building a Fusion reactor (server has KAMI installed, so infinite resources with Ichor pick ). But I ran into an issue with the Toroid Magnet's not accepting a charge off the VDG Generator (I understand how they work, got one powering the magnetic lines for plasma, which I've produced and am storing in ME system by the thousands , and have 4 on electrolyzers).
Any server plugins/settings that would not allow this connect only to the Toroid's? I tried it in the nether+twilight+ect and it works fine, only in the overworld is there an issue.
Noting a conflict with this mod with another one. If you have the latest version of B0b Garry's Obsidian Tools installed (http://minecraft.cur...obsidian-tools/) and smelting obsidian chunks, the end result will be source blocks of Witch Water instead of obsidian ingots.
Actually, it turns out the biomes in the FTB Agrarian Skies skyblock pack are awesome for bees. I guess it wouldn't be that hard for me to just edit that map and re-create this one.
Props to QuantumBlade for making such a satisfying skyblock map.
Personally, I would recommend using the agrarian skies pack over this. This map was primarily designed as a way of showcasing all the features of Ex Nihilo (back before everyone and their dog used it, and as a placeholder until Erasmus_Crowley managed to get world generation into the mod. At this point, the community has finally (took them a while) discovered Ex Nihilo, and there are tons of great mod pack experiences out there. This map is really only here as a legacy, or as an option for a pure Ex Nihilo experience.
Hey Erasmus I really like the mod and there is only one thing i ask, i have a bunch of silk worms lying about. it would be good if you could craft each one into 1 piece of string
I just thought of a much more hardcore challenge map that this.
Instead of a layer of dirt, a layer of planks and an enderportal, no sieve. You have to kill spiders to make the sieve, then keep on killing mobs to get stuff to compost into dirt. Not to mention that a poorly made cobble generator can set the whole place on fire.
I was also thinking have the sky covered by bedrock, so it's always dark, but that could ether prevent anyone from progressing, or just give too much mob drops, so...
That does sound quite intense. Not the kind of thing I would make, as I tend to put minimalism as my top priority in map making, but I really like the way you've designed/implemented it. I will definitely be trying your map out when I get a chance to put together some mods to play it with.
I think the main reason people don't use the grinder is that they usually play rotaryccraft with other mods. By the time I have enough resources for a grinder + gearboxes + power, I usually have at least a basic te processing system doing 2+ times ores, or a mechanism system tripling ores (depending on which mods I have). At that point, it just makes more sense to go for the extractor, as the grinder isn't much of an improvement over what I already have.

Do you have the toroids properly rotated?

That is most likely just an id conflict
