So what would be 5 out of 5 stars? Spelunking in the dark?

I should think that 5 out of 5 would be skinning creepers with your bare hands to make yourself a tent.

That aside, This is pretty reasonable advice. Good work.

Whenever I try and run the game with this installed it gets to the "Mojang Specifications" screen and then just sits there. Then it crashes with this error.

    any ideas?

This is the error for trying to load a 64x64 texture without the game being patched for it. I'm not sure if the patcher works with the current version or not, but to keep it from continuously happening you can open the .minecraft folder then open the options.txt and remove rezcraft from it (leaving it blank sets to default).

I don't think it does but you could always try it to see. I never noticed a drop in quality after I've uploaded.

Looking pretty good. I like the way the you sped up the monotonous moments. Might I suggest making your voice a little louder or dropping the background sounds/music. There were a couple points where I found it hard to understand what you are saying.

    Other than that, nice job.

posted a message on Why so boring!?
If you hit one of those boring moments just sit around and do nothing for a while in game. Punch a few cows or something for a few minutes. Then act on the first stupid idea that comes to you (relative to minecraft...).

    Instantly not bored anymore

Looks good, and can only get better with a more complete pack. Thanks for sharing!

Just tried it out and it adds a very cheery feel to the world. But one thing I feel the need to mention is that there is something about the cobblestone that seems to be catching my eye a little too much, can't say what though.

posted a message on how do you plan your minecraft world?
My world would probably make a whole lot more sense if I did any sort of planning.

The extent of my planning is:

punch trees > workbench > axe > pick > stone tools > repeated a few times> begin to act on impulses > I live in three different mountains

Looks fantastic and has a great style to it.

My only complaint is that it seriously strains my eyes with all of those dark textures. At night I'm completely blind.
...And by the time the post goes through my problem has been answered...

Indeed. T2 didn't have much for graphics either but we were able to control the angles of items relative to each other and had more to work with than blocks (beams, which are much like our blocks, and panels mostly). But the lack of an easy way to do things just makes it more fun to make things work. The chair was inspired by someones post on how to make a chandelier, actually.

I'm sure this will never compare to some of the other posted homes, but I felt like posting it anyways. I'm not entirely sure if this is the right section so let me know if it isn't.

For the past few days I've made my home in a structure I built between the walls of a narrow canyon. Ive recently begun to decorate and theme the interior. Before the pictures allow me to provide a little back-story. Long ago I used to play the construct mod of Tribes 2, a game which many of you may be familiar with, and I built almost exclusively spaceships hence the morphing of the classic saying. I found my way to minecraft via the forum for TrivesNext, actually.

Now the pictures. This is a small three room structure at the moment so I was not able to do anything very complex, but I'm sure I will add on later.

This is the back corner of the main room. Here you can see that the structure has 3 floors, the upper two being staggered (one lower than the other).
Off to the right-top is the shop where the building and repairing is done. You can see on the left that I have yet to relocate my water source.
The tree next to it is a natural growth large tree that I have built around and trimmed the leaves but left alone otherwise.
In the center, dropping down from the ceiling is the command chair.

Here we have a better view of the shop and the command chair, as well as the path to the entrance.
The bottom room behind the command chair is what is to be the lounge (I have yet to gather the wool to redo the floor).

This is the viewing wall, it provides an uninterupted view of the outside valley and all that goes on.
The switch on the back of the command chair is, as yet, for aesthetics only.
(my plan is to redo the flat wall into a a convex window and to project the command chair and control station out into it)

Looking down from the command chair we see the control station's projection so that the systems engineer can not only see the valley ahead but above and below him as well. We also see the main control panel. Let's take a close look.

This is the control station in its current, primitive, state. The three panels are, top to bottom: facility status, facility control, and to the lower left is the outside temperature in kelvin.

Not shown in a picture is my small 10 plot farm across from the lounge to be on the bottom floor.
I also have an observation tower on the roof that is in a very primitive state (spiral block stairs around single pillar) that I hope to enlarge and make accessible from the inside.

I decided to grab an outside screenshot of the facility, showing its size (rather small, but I am expanding into the hills on either side slowly) and the primitive observation tower.

Thanks for looking at my facility. I'm sure it isn't terribly impressive but maybe it will be. Suggestions would be wonderful and feel free to post your own spaceships/sci-fi inspired facilities.
