make sure your card is verified for international payments and not a prepaid card, call your bank to check its allowed to make payments to sweden.
Also rather than your friend giving out his account information (which is always a stupid idea) you could've just purchased a game card at gamestop and given him that
If i had a method of reliable travel, I would, but, you know, Mojang decided to be BRILLIANT and cut off any way of purchasing a gift card online, be it Amazon, Ebay, Best Buy ,etc.
So, a friend is allowing me to go into their account (They'll change their password after I'm finished), so I can purchase Minecraft for them. I go in, put in the necessary details, but then get slapped with "An error occurred while placing order, please verify credit card info and try again". This is consistent. I made sure my information is right. What gives?
Well, I'm pretty certain they already have a Mojang account. Why can't they make it so we can easily gift others Minecraft? Why did they have to stop these gift codes?
I was considering buying a friend a copy of Minecraft, but when I tried to buy a gift code to send them, I've learned that Mojang decided to be difficult, and make it only available in the form of gift cards, instead of buying a code, outright. How can I get my friend a code?
I had this error, before, and I forget how I fixed it, but check what version of forge you're using. That might be the issue. IF that isn't it, I think I needed to add some dependency to my modpack, too...
I got a stupid question, but is there a way to have it to set the chisel to chisel out a psecific type of tile? I have an elaborate base with laboratory blockas as walls, and I want ot change them to another type, without cycling through the types. How does one go about doing that?
EDIT: Oh, never mind. Put the block in the chisel's right-click menu, and just left-click the blocks.
I have a question. I have a computer, and can run Skyrim on max settings, and maintain a high frame rate. Why is it that when I try to use shaders, my Minecraft slows to a crawl? Do I need to steal a computer from NASA to be able to use this, or am I missing something?
Gonna bring this back to life. The multi-core option in Optifine does Jack All for boosting framerates. I don't see ANY improvement when I have that enabled. Does anybody have an idea of what settings to use inOptifine for a computer whose processor is 2 GHz per core?
Well, on modded survival, of any kind, I can't possibly break 5 FPS, 11 if using OptiFine. I look at my Task Manager, and Minecraft's only using 30% of my processor. It REALLY needs to be able to use all the cores. Seriously.
Yes, Minecraft already is multi-threaded, which is the same thing, for all intents and purposes, as multi-core.
Gonna stop you, there. Multi-threading isn't multi-core usage. Multi-threading means that multiple entities are able to move. Multi-CORE is powering what's powering the entire thing. Think of a marionette. The threads are, well, multi-thread. But it's a complex marionette, that requires two hands, the multiple cores. How can you possibly control it to your liking with only one hand?
I was thinking, that in a future update, Minecraft needs to take advantage of Java 8, which has multi-core support. It's notorious for taxing a single core, and never takes advantage of the others, since it's based off of Java 7. Java 8 started Multi-core support. Since modded survival, of ANY kind, makes me lag to sub-5 FPS, this would be a brilliant idea. Can this please happen?
Hm. I see. I hope you can get more information. Also, I've learned that, despite this computer being a "gaming laptop", its processor is WORSE than the 7-year-old one I had. The old computer had 2.53 gigahertz. This one only has 2, even. I hope I can upgrade it, but knowing how computer companies are with their BRILLIANT idea of soldering graphics cards onto motherboards and such, that might not be likely.
EDIT: I tried a modpack with 27 mods. Couldn't break 4 FPS, and I had everything set to minimum, and had Optifine set to multicore. I have an AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon r5 graphics processor. It's a quad-core.

This. I can't get any version, unfortunately.
