I recently made a video about why Mianite Season 3 can't happen, or at least, not how we might be have been wanting it to happen. Although any continuation would be awesome IMO. I was wondering what folks here think a continuation of season 2 would entail? In my video (4 minutes long, I tried to shorten it any way possible) I briefly explain what my thoughts are based on narrative, context with creators, series style, and super basic business theory. The point of the video, though, was to open a discussion-- and maybe folks here would enjoy this topic!
So this thread is specifically a discussion on what season 3 would entail, how it may come to fruition, and what you would like to see in season 3. Or really anything Mianite related
I was recently working on a video and had the unpleasant experience of being swatted by a patrol unit! And here I thought I was going to find me my first diamonds. I was absolutely shocked to find that they could pathfind to me THROUGH THE DOOR. It made for one hilarious awakening if I say so myself! I haven't found a tower or anything near me yet I keep getting harassed by those darn patrol units! It's even become an ongoing joke at this point. Who else has had some interesting run-ins with these gray fellows?

Below I have linked a video that portrays the more common editing style of my future videos. The style changes slightly throughout the video, but I try to keep it consistent. I was wondering, as fellow Minecraft players and maybe content creators, if I could have your opinions on the editing styles presented throughout this video! Thank you for your time and helpfulness, with your aid I am one step closer to creating a positive community around this game we so love dearly.
My analytics have shown me aspects of viewer retention that are also helpful, but I find textual feedback to be most insightful at this stage.
Please report this stuff. At one point someone somehow hijacked my account and sold it to some random kid. It was funny, though, I found out by searching my name on youtube. Some random kid from who knows where was making youtube videos with my account! Too bad I, also, was making videos. Ended up making a new account.
Hey, the video was pretty well put together. Just stay natural and enjoy making your content. The editing wasn't overdone and you were very concise! I do have a question though, what bitrate do you render your video at? The quality is pretty nice, but I think you may be rendering at 10000, if possible, I would suggest rendering at 30000. My first two videos on my Minecraft LP are at 10000 and the third, releasing tomorrow, was rendered at 30000, allot of small aspects of the quality where improved. I also enjoyed the music choice and volume ^_^.
You really entered that "flow state" needed to make Let's Plays super interesting. This was a very nice video! You say you intend to focus on villages? I know this may be early, but how large do you intend to make your village build?
With the floor, I would probably play around with different kinds of stone blocks (using the stonecutter.) To get a really cool randomized effect, try putting a few stacks of different blocks in your Hotbar, scroll really fast, and then place the blocks. You can also get some more depth too the ground by including stairs intermittently and slabs (I do this in one of my scheduled episodes for my LP in my entity cramming farm). I like what you are doing with the glass and think the idea and execution is starting to look really nice! Let me know how it goes ^_^. What's your youtube?
I was thinking about the bees (I know, not the bees!) and villagers. I think it would be pretty cool to have a villager with the job of "beekeeper," especially in plains biomes. The villager might trade honey, flowers, and dies-- especially blue dye! What are your thoughts on this?
I agree with this! Do it if you enjoy it and only if you enjoy it, no ulterior motives. But, that being said, I'm sure you could do some marketing for your channel and get some views, but don't let that get in the way of enjoying/making your LP.
