Hi! Small question: Do stairs and half tiles count as roofs? My roofs consist only of these blocks, so I don't need to light my roofs to prevent mob spawning.
Also: From what i've read, 2 doors that are facing each other, within 5 blocks count as only 1 door? Some of my streets are 4 blocks wide, so this may be the cause of my problems. Is this correct?
My village counts 48 doors, but there aren't a lot of villagers. And no golem has spawned yet.

It would either be golems, villages, or mushrooms. They all ruin the game! they look so ugly. first time I saw a mushroom, I said "Mojang, what the f*** have you been smoking.
I highly disagree. For people who love piston contraptions, but hate cheating on creative, that would basically ruined 1/4 of the game for me.
I've never had a problem with finding slimes since they were put back in the game, just digging a room at bedrock was enough for truckloads of them..

Or atleast, the 'new' spawning. I absolutely hate that they now spawn a level 40 or lower, instead of the old 15 or lower. All my underground bases have been ruined because of this.

Mar 31, 2011YES! Please send it to jeb! :biggrin.gif:Posted in: Minecraft Mods
But could you add the 'extend more than one block' function first? Maybe you could use the same sort of system that repeaters use too. (Mode 1 to 4, 1 extends 1 block, 2 extends 2 etc)
Mar 30, 2011I've found a rather strange chest bug:Posted in: Survival Mode
Clicking the center of this chest will crash your client. But an L shaped chest works fine. (Except for messing up the chest gui.) It seems flowing water allows you to place another chest when it actually shouldn't be possible.
How to (Overhead view):
1. Create double chest:
2. Place water next to double chest:
3. Place a new chest in the streaming water:
You now have an L chest! Repeat on more side to create a larger chest. (That will crash your client.)
Mar 28, 2011I do miss the ability to create a retractable bridge using this mod. :sad.gif: That's the only thing that's keeping me from choosing this over controllerblock.Posted in: Minecraft Mods
edit: I retract my statement, this block is really awesome, but the usefulness doesn't come close to controllerblock.
In my opinion, a piston block that 'ejects' a max total of 9* blocks and 'retracts' them would be far more useful and it could still contain the same functionality the current block has. (Pushing blocks and entities.)
(Or any other number, but 9 would be easier because it could use the dispenser gui.)

Mar 4, 2011Most of the time I use stone, because the resources for stone pickaxes are infinite and found everywhere. When mining I have an iron pick that I use to mine the materials that stone cannot not.Posted in: Survival Mode
Only on large building projects will I use diamond picks.
(I do however, always use a diamond sword, it lasts an eternity and is kills everything in 2 hits max.)
Mar 4, 2011Why do people always create such guides while using texture packs? I'd really like a default minecraft look version of this tutorial.Posted in: Creative Mode
For a better looking, but non-functional fridge: place 2 iron blocks on top of each other, stand on top of it and place an iron door on the floor in the direction you wish to have the door. This will make the door snap to the iron blocks and it'll look just like a fridge.
