Where did you hear about us: minecraftforum.net, but I was on an old pvp server that's went downhill now. I did graphic design for them and I can make banner and contribute.
1. Make an iron door.
2. Place a wooden door to make them double doors (make sure the iron door is on the left)
3. Cover the wooden door (or destroy it but i think that resets it.)
When the door is on the left it works like a backwards door.

InsomniaCraft is a new pvp server with exciting new places to explore! Conquer fierce enemies in the arena or challenge other players in a fight of honor! Not too many plugins, but just enough for those who need them. This is not a not a ruthless pvp server - but many wars will be had from time to time! Build your fort as high as the sky! The sky is the limit. We offer teams build protection for extra insurance that their buildings cannot be griefed. Stealing, however, is allowed so be sure to hide chests up tight. Victory brings riches and war-favors to those who shall win. We insure build protection and no fire spread for those to build, pure monster-hunting and brutal nights for survivalists, and pvp and stealing to those with... mischievous aspirations.
Rules:
1. Respect all players.
2. No griefing under any circumstance.
3. No client hacks, mods, xray packs, or exploits whatsoever.
4. No excessive CAPS LOCK or spamming.
5. No talking about Justin Bieber.this is a joke 6. No rude or derogatory chat.
7. No item spawning or duping. Do not beg or whine for this.
8. Stealing is allowed so as long you do NOT grief, as is pvp.
9. No 1x1 towers or holes/generally pointless and ugly buildings.
Infraction of any or several of these rules will result in a kick/ban or other action.

I'm pretty popular in a 200+ person server and we COULD use new hardware, or even a new server.
I also know a lot of people in a steam group that would help me populate a server, as we've been looking for a server.
Aaand some other people if that's not enough.
Ever since I had played in any other pvp server, they were always missing something. I needed somewhere that really layed down the law, like no griefing, but still got some semi-hardcore pvp. I can't afford high-end connections for the server to have stable pvp. I need a place to play. This would help me make my dreams a reality. I'm sure if I got the server, I'd work hard on it. I'd work to make the community great. Anyone who does not get it, I'll let into the server (might be whitelist, I'm not sure. :tongue.gif:). I reaaally hope to win this one. I already have plans for a pvp town and spawn. I have the website AND forum planned out. I think I'd make a great community leader, and I need an able server for all of my friends and other people to join in on all the fun. The server I need is just within my reach. I've never seen a pvp server with just my image. A stable community, great building, and balanced pvp. Could you imagine such a thing with 20+ players? Even events, like a fighting arena, and recorded pvp kills/deaths for player highlights, and leaderboards to create competition. I know about mods, and plugins, as I've just started learning java and how to use bukkit on the web, but I've never been able to use them in my own servers as they can hardly handle just one player. I would add many things to the server if I got the chance to. I would be in-depth with the community, listen to them, and make sure everyone has a great time and ensure an even greater experience. I would make the community with every fun idea I have. Not only would I enjoy it, but the community would, too. I can't thank you without it, you would probably get credit in someway, like special perks. :tongue.gif: Thank you.

I'm not exactly sure if the "diamond vein in one chunk" thing is true. I'm pretty sure I've found more than one in a chunk.
