posted a message on Finding Better Places (An Inspiring Gaming Montage)

Unfortunately, I don't have enough time at the moment to write an actual thread post because I'll be going to work here in a little bit, so I'll go ahead and throw in this video's description below as well as this section: I made this video yesterday because right after I discovered the song I figured I could make something inspirational out of it whether it'd be a video game montage or an actual live-action motivational skit. I chose the song because it fits so closely to my real life passion and drive (about 80% of it), and it made me want to do something with it. I hope you guys and girls enjoy watching it as much as I had producing it. ^_^

After I discovered this song by Ivan B. just yesterday, I couldn't help myself to create a gaming montage off of it. Now if you've seen my other montages you'll notice a bunch if not all of the highlights in this one are the same as the others. This is because I'm still trying to get around upgrading my old video recording & editing tech. which, still, might be sometime.

I've gotten two jobs to help fund my college education, buy my own gear for semi-pro football, and to put towards building a new rig. I'll mostly convert to PC gaming only, but that's if I don't have the money for an XBOX ONE. Surely in due time I'll be able to afford one, but as I said, the priorities of my spending are listed above. So that being said, any XBOX ONE gameplay will take the longest time to get done.

The reason why I chose this song right away was because it couldn't have shared any better relevance to my real life scenario, pride, passion, and humility. If you were to simply listen to the lyrics of this song, you'd get a great mental picture of how my life is like (I'd say around 80%).

Thanks for watching. I know I've been severely inactive on YouTube, but that's because of other horizons and the inability to fund myself yet. It will happen, but it's taking sometime. Thanks again.

posted a message on An absolutely crazy weapon enchantment.

My friend and I on a LAN server were surviving in Minecraft with a bunch of mods installed (which is why some items in the inventory pictured below may look unfamiliar), and while he was enchanting his Iron Warhammer, he came across this mad enchantment that was either level 22 or level 30. Picture is below. ^_^

posted a message on Looking for a minecraft server that never resets.

    This sounds pretty selfish.

Servers can't be hosted and expected to run the entire infinity (give or take 30,000,000 by 30,000,000 blocks expanse that is Minecraft) just so players can go about and "adventure." And before anyone says: yes, I know servers don't render the world entirely, it renders when players discover chunks. That being said, if you're looking for a Minecraft server that NEVER resets the world, it'd be like finding a ladybug in Central Park, New York City, NY.

Servers need to reset worlds so that the hardware running them doesn't overload or slow down because so much of the world has already been rendered by players going about and exploring. In my opinion and recommendation, your best bet would be to find a server with a world boundary (most are around 1,000 to 5,000 blocks in range), but even then when the time comes that everything has been used, the server WILL reset to a new world to add new life to the server. And then again, if you're looking for a server that suits your wants above, you're only narrowing your search to an atom on the ladybug in Central Park.

However, don't let my point of view bring your hopes down when it comes to trying to find that perfect server, because all in all, finding that ladybug or an atom on that ladybug in Central Park is still possible. ;)

Haven't played Minecraft myself in awhile, so I've nothing to share. :/

I found like 17 pink sheep in a Savanna biome once, plus all the others since 1.7.3B.

Thank you, but one more question then? How to make machine frame?

I would install Craft Guide, it'll help a lot with crafting recipes from just about any mod.

In other words, you need to follow this recipe for the machine frame: C=Copper, and I=Iron.

posted a message on Simple Slime Skins || Multiple Colors!
    Simple Slime Skins

    Introduction

    • I'll be the one to say it: I did make these skins (the first five) in less than about thirty minutes. I looked around other Minecraft sites that featured slime-related skins, and almost every one featured a slime wearing some sort of clothing which was and is unsuitable to my liking. I then figured that if I felt this way, than other people might feel the same way. And so I took it upon myself to create the "Simple Slime Skins" collection, which features multiple colors of slimes in a simple variation.

    • I'm not that much of an artist as you could probably tell from the skins alone (I'm more of an athletic type of person, but that doesn't mean I'm not intelligent or I don't know how to do certain things), so please don't be bashful in that regard.

    • Hope you guys like these skins. If anyone has a request for a particular color but doesn't want to do it themselves, then let me know. I'm a very helpful person.

    Links (Skindex)

    Red Slime (my personal skin).

    Thanks!

    • P.S.: My Skindex name is different from my forum username because of initial verification issues. I couldn't use "ProphetFilmsHD" because their servers couldn't send a verification email, so the it's in some sort of username purgatory.

posted a message on House Help
Not to veer off too far from helping you, but I had an interesting journey building my house. I started out by building a small shack, and over time I added different "branches" or sections or even other buildings to the shack. It turned out pretty awesome in my opinion. Some screenshots of it are below, and if you're inspired enough to do the same thing, go for it! :)

P.S.: The border blocks around the oak planks are chiseled limestone blocks from the chisel mod., and the pale yellow squares are chiseled glowstone from the chisel mod. as well. :P

posted a message on Needing help with trying to configure the LevelUp! Mod.
Hi, so with this mod. there comes a lot of perks when you level up in-game. One of those perks is the farming skill, and I'm trying to blacklist tall grass from growing into double tall grass. I've done my best following the directions in the configuration file for the mod., but the tall grass keeps on growing and it's really annoying. Can someone show me how to do this properly so I can enjoy the full extent of the mod.? Thanks!

I'm not sure if your account is still active, but can I see what you did in your config. file for the LevelUp! mod?

Whenever I try mining a higher level ore (e.g. Atlarus) with low-level pickaxe (e.g. bronze), it just breaks the block rather quickly without yielding any ore. Would it be possible for it to work like mining obsidian with iron pickaxes - breaking the block very slowly if the pickaxe isn't high enough? Thanks!

I feel like that would break Minecraft's mechanics. This would be like mining a diamond ore block with a wooden pickaxe; Sure, it'd take a long time and it'd be cool to get that diamond, but it would mean skipping a whole level and purpose to the game like trying to get iron ore to mine diamond to mine obsidian and what not. Plus, it'd be a large waste of time waiting for that one ore to yield.

posted a message on The "Why isn't this in Minecraft already?" Mod. Request. (Wool to String)
    Thanks for the recommendation.

I pretty much only play 1.6.2, 1.4.2, 1.2.5, and 1.7.3 BETA versions because there are certain mods that have been discontinued at those points, or at least (maybe) are being worked on. Like 1.4.2 has "BicBiomes," and 1.6.2 has "More Explosives." I don't just play those versions just for those mods, I add more mods around them. Does this make some sense at least? :P
