Then don't buy an Xbox. You already have it on PC and the 360 version isn't going to be any different. Get over yourself.
It will not be coming out for PS3 ever. Unless Mojang some how gets out of their contract with Microsoft. Currently the contract they signed is a exclusive deal with Xbox which means no other consoles will be getting it.
Most exclusivity contracts are for a set period of time and most game developers lost interest in porting the game to other consoles once that period of time is up, so while its not likely its possibly it could come to PS3. -

I hope they consider bring Minecraft to the ps3, There losing A LOT of money only putting it on the Xbox. And if they think I'm about to go out and buy an Xbox just because of this. There flipping joking.
Nobodies expecting you to go buy an xbox. It will most likely come to PS3 at a later date, until then just play on your PC. Problem solved. - To post a comment, please login.

EDIT:
Budget: $1000 US currency
Buying the parts: ASAP
System Usage: game scene/object rendering. Gaming capabilities, preferably able to run games like skyrim, COD and mine craft at max. If it has to be medium settings to fit the budget that's fine.
Are you including monitor, peripherals, OS etc in your budget?: nope
Preferred Websites / Stores for parts: newegg
Overclocking, yes or no?: no
SLI / Crossfire, yes or no?: yes
Monitor Resolution (if upgrading, post the resolution of the monitor resolution you want): n/a
Other:
Why are you upgrading?: current laptop is too slow for what I need.

Like this:
Mine are just setup a little different because I have multiple layers, they are staggered so the mobs can make their way to the bottom. A spawn pad is basically just a square or rectangle pad of cobblestone or dirt or whatever (just not half slabs and glass) that doesn't get any light and allows mobs to spawn on it

Thanks! The XP farm is just your basic mob trap it has layers of spawn pads and the mobs just walk around in there falling off the layers one at a time until the get to the bottom part of it and there are water currents that bring them to the center where they drop down 22 blocks into that part in my basement and it only takes 1-2 hits with your first to kill them and harvest the XP.

First house I setup when I started the world. (XP farm behind it =P)
Each set of chests has a sign showing whats in it
Stairway to a bedrock mine.
Secret passage behind the enchanting table.
What it leads to.
What that leads to =P (haven't decided what I'm going to do with this yet)
Whew... So whats everyone think =D

To answer your questions,
It doesn't seem that the projects support CUDA or OpenCL but im not positive.
I don't need peripherals, I would need a copy of windows 7 64 bit(not sure which version), Not sure what overclocking is lol, at least 1TB of HDD space, hopefully within the next 6 months or so. As for games/programs, Minecraft, BF3, MMORPGS, Skyrim and other games like that. Programs: Unity 3D, ZBrush, Maya 3D, 3Ds max, pretty much all the programs in the Adobe CS6 master collection.
Edit: If the monitors are going to be an issue as far as price I can just not include those in the budget. That being said, would I be able to stay a little ways under $1000 and still get a decent build with everything I need it for?
