I've tried installing this mod several times now. Manually and with the TFC Mod Manager. Even after completely deleting everything but my saves and starting a new world. However, each time right as the screen is about to appear when loading a world, I get the following error:

Can anyone help me? I'd really like to get this mod up and running.
Edit: When I said "deleting everything" I meant that I had deleted, then reinstalled minecraft then tried to install this mod immediately afterwards and I still get the problem.
I know I've seen a lot of people with similar issues but I'm having the same problem and can't seem to figure out how to fix it.
I connected to a server last night and all was well until I got disconnected and now I can't connect because I get the "Connection timed out: connect" error every time. But here's the catch, I live in an apartment complex and so I can't access any router or port settings on their end. Is there any way to connect to that server that anyone can think of?
Edit: Me and the server are running Beta 1.2_01 as well. Everyone else seems to be connecting just fine.
