This was supposed to be over by now.
"Pre-release coming tomorrow!" - three days later, nothing. Heh.

It will look better, have directional lighting (like light from the front of a furnace), work with stairs and slabs correctly, stop generation of dark unlit areas in worldgen, and all in all, just be a new lighting engine.
There will be a fallback for less powerful computers. -

This is also why most developers refuse to make any sort of mention of a release date, because people flip out and act like damned fools.
Edit: Might be a good idea to tag the thread as Forge.

Yep. I like it a bit better than the old boss theme, which I probably shouldn't have heard in the first place.

Lol! Comment of the month.

Nope. I am not.
I'm not even patient enough nor do I have enough free time to continue learning how to code in java.
Also, there most certainly was a giveaway. Something like 19 people received the v0.75 dev build, which was very far from completed.

I'm not sure it is coded into the mod in the version I have.
I've found a crystal that spawns snails underground though.

Uhh no? It was this way the entire time.
'The Prime Wight's Domain.' I'd post a screen but I've specifically been asked not to and I plan on respecting that.

The Prime Wight has its own dimension that is reached by using multiple 'eye of the middle' on an unknown thing/portal. You get the eyes of the middle by raiding dungeons and trading their contents with tribal elders.

Dylan's post had bold print at the top emphasizing that it was Fan-based lore.

That is what the Prime Wight wants you to think.

I answered that post not far after it, hope that answers some. If not, I can clarify further I guess if requested.

This.
When people think of California they go 'Oh, the place that is always sunny and comfortably warm that has all the movie stars.'
The truth of the matter is California is freakin brutal. It has the highest air temperature recorded on planet Earth at 135 F (56.7 C). It's called Furnace Creek for a reason.
Quite the opposite, the low temperature is able to get below -7 F (-21.6 C).
This is a good example of why you should never judge a place by the stereotype that the media displays to the world.
Is it really pretty much 1 kind of weather in the UK for the most part? Sounds boring to me
I like having snowy peaks, warm beaches, hot deserts, temperate savannah, humid pine/redwood forests and mountains, rocky coasts, volcanic national parks, golden hills, beautiful vallies, and everything in between.
I can't imagine living in such a static place. I can't think of anywhere else in the world I'd rather live than right here. I'd rather be homeless in my home of California than rich and living anywhere else in the world. I fully intend on dying here.
Edit: Still in need of people, Mr.Compost? I know I was supposed to sort that the other day lol
