    The only feature that I can tell is missing from the original BG&L mod is that coral would occasionally quite often spawn a stream of bubble particles that rise up to the surface (:

    They also followed a curved 's' pattern as they floated up

    I'm not sure if someone else has asked this already, but do you have any plans to work around the new rendering system for 1.8? As things you can't see aren't rendered (including the world behind you) this is effectively going to cause the same problem that Advanced OpenGL had with casting shadows from the world behind you, when Advanced OpenGL tried to un-render them. Are you just going to force the client to render everything in a 360 degree field of view, if that's possible?

    The only suggestion to you I have is to stop using biome specific textures so much. Some blocks, for example - rails at the moment, go across multiple biomes and the constant changing makes it look utterly awful in my opinion and I'm sure others. Like this person posted:

    Lately, you've been making so many alternative textures as biome specific rather than metadata, where metadata is much more suited to the block. Using biome specific textures forces them upon the player, unless they move to another biome, rather than giving them the option. However, some natural textures like the sugarcane variants are much better suited to biome specific textures as they're natural, like these grass/dirt (I think) variants from a few weeks ago:



    I feel that natural textures are what the biome specific textures are for, and building blocks should mostly use metadata to give the player the option to use them. I don't fully understand MCPatcher's metadata and biome specific textures, but in cases of having maxed out metadatas and having to use biome specific textures, I guess it's alright, but if you have to I'd suggest using rarer biomes.

    Again I don't fully understand how this works, if there's something meaning you HAVE to use biome specific textures for these blocks, okay and sorry for ranting on about this, but if there's the option between metadata and biome specific, please choose metadata.

    A relatively simple bug or misstatement, but I have found that custom textures only load when the file path is "assets/bettergrassandleaves/textures/blocks/file.png" and not what is stated in the OP or anything else that I have found.

    Also, are you planning to re-add coral and snowed leaves/grass? They were my favourite features, personally :)

    I'm new to Cinema 4D so please forgive me if this is a simple fix, but whenever I try to use ambient occlusion with a hat layer present, the whole head becomes black. I have tried checking "Evaluate Transparency" but no luck. Any ideas what is wrong?

    EDIT: Evaluate Transparency worked. I just simply did an undo right after toggling it as I changed something, without realizing it had undone the changes I made to my render settings :P
