You jerkoffs still arguing? Errgh, put it to rest already. We all know Notch is a lazy *******. He's only doing achievements to escape the hard work (wolfs) and has what's-his-name working on them instead.
I'm sure eventually he'll get to the point where he doesn't even program anymore. He'll just be sipping tequila and eating cheetohs while his code monkeys do all the work; and he CAN! He's mother ****ing Notch, the creator of Minecraft: The Infiniminer Copycat that made him over a million US dollars. What do you expect?!

Mar 28, 2011Posted in: Survival ModeQuote from scrubking »Yes, Notch is wasting his time on this crap because there are so many important things he could be adding or fixing. LIke:
1. Flowers don't grow
2. Can't farm animals
3. Gold is still useless
4. Lanterns remember that? How about giving us a real light source so we don't have to spam torches?
5. More mobs to interact with
6. Real furniture that we can put in our empty houses
7. How about fixing boats?
8. Give us something to do in the nether other than die
9. Hey why not just fix the portals so they actually work
10. Let us paint a block that doesn't catch on fire instantly?
Those are just off the top of my head. There are many, many more.
All of these would be appreciated.

That's great! But who was phone?
MOD EDIT: Okay, second warning along with a 1-day ban. Please do not push your luck any further.
LoL, looks like some butt hurt mod has been trolled a lot in his years.
Let's just hope a skeleton doesn't pop out.
Mod Edit: Really, really? Warning issued for off-topic/flaming. Let's think before we post, OK?

Really? Last time I checked, it was at 120 FPS when you cannot tell the difference anymore. At least, thats when I cannot tell it anymore.
But I am happy with a stable 60+.
Really, you can tell a difference at 120 compared to 60 FPS? What's your monitor's hertz? Most are typically 60-75 hertz, which relates to about 60-75 FPS. At 120 FPS you wouldn't be capable of telling the difference.
Mar 28, 2011I think it's a ridiculous idea for a game that can be easily modified. They're not really achievements anymore if everyone is cheating, and that really defeats the whole "achieving" aspect of it.Posted in: Survival Mode
Mar 28, 2011Posted in: Survival ModeQuote from wraithleader501 »So, while playing recently, the thought struck me: am I a ***** at this game? Looked at my options, peaceful is on. Looked at my inventory; no sword or bow. Can't remember the last time I saw a hostile mob. I'm even working on a mob grinder to kill mobs and get their items without having to fight them. Bit of a shock to my system. What is it about this game that causes this? Does anyone else experience this?
Minecraft's combat system is a grody piece of ****. That is, if you want to call it a system.
Mar 28, 2011Here, I put this custom build together for you (should be cheaper than buying a prebuilt name brand computer).Posted in: Survival Mode

500GB hard drive, 4GB RAM, 3.0GHz Athlon II x2 CPU, 460W power supply and a graphics card more than suitable for your needs (enjoy Left 4 Dead and similar games at medium settings).

Thanks for the info. But by the way, since you seem to be pretty smart about this kind of stuff, is there any way I could run Minecraft less laggy or faster on my current laptop? Here's the specs if you need them:
Windows Vista Home Premium
Service Pack 1
Manufacturer: Hewlett Packard
Model: HP G60 Netbook PC
Processor: AMD Turion Dual-Core RM-70 2.00 GHz
Memory(RAM): 3.00 GB
System type: 32-bit operating system
There is a way. Right-click on the Minecraft game application, choose 'Properties' then select the 'Compatibility' tab, and under 'Settings' toggle 'Run in 640 x 480 screen resolution'. Also, close all other programs running on your computer.

Dealing with the amount of idiocism here is exhausting me.
