This question may have already been asked, but when I place custom skins into the human male folder, and I go in game to the list of available skins, I can see the name, however, when I choose the custom skin the NPC is invisible. It registers that there is a new skin, but doesn't have the skin I guess...
So, after grinding for ender pearls and gearing up, I finally entered the End Portal. Long story short, I died, and tried to quit the game without saving so I wouldn't have to go all the way from my spawn to the portal. When I entered the game again, I was at an autosave point in the stronghold, before I entered the portal again. When I entered, there was no enderdragon health bar, or dragon itself, and all the crystals were destroyed, but the exit portal wasn't open. Am I screwed? Does anyone know what happened? I have tried reloads and such but nothing works
Recently, I have been trying to emulate a house style that represents the two other dimensions in Minecraft: The End and The Nether. This includes both using blocks that go along with that dimension (i.e. nether bricks, quartz, nether rack, etc. for the Nether) and designing a unique style (not just replacing a normal house with nether recourses). However, not being a very good builder myself, I am struggling
I was hoping that some of you guys can design a building or two that represents the End or the Nether (or one of each if you want)... You aren't tied down to the blocks of that dimension, but try and make it clear what the dimension you are emulating is. It isn't necessarily a contest, but just a challenge for those who want to be creative. If you wanna do it, leave a comment so I can know you are working on it, and when you are finished, please post a picture! I am very excited to see the results!
I'd post some picture of examples, but there simply are none.
When I place the blocks in the mod, they are invisible, but they are there. Their hit-boxes are there and their function works (i.e. torches illuminate and ladders allow climbing) but I just cant see them. What am I doing wrong? I know there is a mcpatcher bug, im not sure if I have mcpatcher installed, and if I do, and that is the problem, how do you fix it?
Since pre-1.6, on a Mac I would hold down control and clicking on my 2009 macbook to perform a right click. In both the snapshot and the final release, this feature doesn't work anymore. I had to map it to my z key, but I cant do it for long. I didnt really know where to report it, but if anyone knows how to get it to be back to control+click please tell me

In-Character Information: Complete the following biography on your character:
Full Name: Nicholas Strongwing
Current Age: 22
Sub-race (if any): None.
Past / History (include childhood, major-events, etc. 2+ paragraphs long):
Nicholas grew up in a small village near the capital by the name of Ager; he had no siblings and little for himself. They lived off the little Nick's father made from his leather work. All the kids around him where already training to be warriors or guards, if you couldn't bash someone's head in with it they weren't interested. He never felt like he fit in. His mother taught him how to read at a young age, saying, "The ability to read is greater than knowing the correct form for swinging a blade." His father wanted Nicholas to be a merchant, or a smith, or a warrior, but Nick wasn't interested. He wanted to do what he loved: writing stories, crafting poems, and playing the music he so loved. At age ten he bought a mandolin with the money he earned working at the local general goods store, and at age eighteen he ran away from his dreadful village and moved to a big city. All he took where his mandolin, his reed pipes, a journal, and a dagger.
During his flight from Ager, the only thing that kept him company in that forest was his music. After living off the land for four days Nicholas found what he was looking for. Abresi. He went to the city once before, for his uncle's funeral, a dull affair. It only took him two days by cart, and he remembered the route. When he arrived at the city he found his widowed aunt and moved in with her. She didn't ask why he turned up at her front door looking for a home, he knew her nephew, he knew he was unhappy where he was. His parents knew it too, they never looked for him, they knew he would be okay. Nicholas got a job at, again, a general goods store. He truly was a great salesman, he could talk a stubborn dwarf into buying an elven weapon. He never spent a single bit of minas. He saved up from his job at the shop and playing music at pubs and inns for two years. On the morning of his twenty-first, Nicholas took all the minas he had and bought adventuring gear: sword, clothing, a map of Anthos, and food. He left Abresi without a goodbye to his aunt, not even a note. She knew where he was though. She knew his need for an adventure.
Nicholas didn't know where he was going, so he went back to the only place he knew. His old home. He traveled in that direction for only two days this time. He went into his old cabin, but nobody was there. Nick left a coin purse full of minas on the table. He set off and traveled again, in no specific direction, just away from where he was.
It didn't take him long to start living his dream. He traveled all over meeting new people and performing songs or reading his stories for people. His job pays little coin, but he does what loves as well. He hasn't made a name for himself quite yet, but he is surely on his way.
Ambitions for the Future: He doesn't really have any sort of ambitions. He
wants money, but he wants to be recognized as a musician, poet, and story
teller. He wants to keep adventuring, be he has yet to go on a true quest. He
still wants the thrill he tells of in his stories: slaying dragons, storming
castles, being a hero.
Personality: He is a friendly person, though he is quite
manipulative. He knows what he can achieve, and he can talk you into doing his
will without you even knowing it. He is an artist, never felt like he fit in
with the warriors and strong men he grew up around. He is very sarcastic when
he speaks.
Skills: His music is enchanting, can calm the wildest
beast and those who hear are like they are under a spell. He is quite slick
with a blade, as any adventurer should be, and he is extremely charismatic, can
talk himself out of a murder even if he had the bloody blade in his hand, not
that he would ever need to.
Appearance (this must include an in-game screenshot of your skin): Nicholas has dark hair and dark eyes. He often has a bit of grime on his face from traveling and his finger nails are riddled with dirt. He usually wears a mix of leather and cloth. He keeps his reed pipes
on his belt and his mandolin on his back. (I was having an issue with Imgur, I am completely new to it and when I tried doing anything with an image it wouldn't let me post).
Any other details you wish to share about your character: On the topic of crime: Nicholas has the capability of killing if it is justified, he is smart with a blade but has yet to use it to cause heavy damage. If someone falls and spills their coin, he will help them up, gather their coins, but may slip a couple in his pouch and walk off.
Open-Response-Questions
Each question in this section must be answered with a minimum of one paragraph which must describe the event in full. Please be as descriptive as possible and do not break character or lore at any point.
____
1. Whilst in the mighty human capital you notice a dark-clothed figure stealthily making his way towards the Emperor’s palace - he is clearly up to no good. There are guards within shouting distance - what doyou do?
Answer: Tonight by the palace as I was walking to the inn, I saw a man dressed in black. I couldn't catch a glimpse of his face, but I know he was shady. I am hoping he was just some citizen or traveler, maybe trying to set up a deal of alchemy ingredients. I wasn't going to say anything, not just accuse this man because he was looking suspicious, even if the guards were around. Leave it to someone else to take care of the guy, I just hope I made the right choice. I will find out in the morning.
2. Whilst wandering in the deep oak forest you come across a large clearing, in which sits a small cobbled cottage. Outside it stands an unstable old man armed with a small iron blade, surrounded by two heavily armed bandits - they appear to be threatening him. You are armed with leather armour and an iron longsword, how do you react?
Answer: I was venturing through a thick forest, quite beautiful. The bark was a deep brown and leaves a vibrant green, the leaves for thick and the sun could hardly poke through. It was so beautiful I could live there one day, I really could. I was walking along, playing my reed pipes and stomping my feet on the dead leaves, when I met a clearing in the forest. A small stone cottage with a thatch roof, and at the doorway was a weak man. By him were two, human bandits, wearing iron armor and wielding steel blades. I couldn't take them alone, apparently the Dwarves aren't big on music and poetry and I didn't make one bit of coin there, so I
sold some of my belongings for some extra coin. I walked over to the bandits, still playing a tune on my reeds, then put it back on my belt. I said, "Excuse me, but let me introduce myself; my name is Nicholas, Nicholas Strongwing. Musician, Poet, adventurer, you've surely heard of me, haven't you? May I ask what the matter is, a bit of a scuffle here I see?". "Ya mate," the first bandit says, "This man here did not pay the taxes he owes." "Look," I said, "We both know you two are no tax collectors, this is obviously a scam, but tell you what, I'll let you off on a break and no guards are notified, okay? You don't exactly want to scuffle with me either." I showed no fear, if they sense fear you are dead. They walked off, quite furious, but they left. I told the old man, "Not all fights are won with a blade and a well-placed arrow." I walked back into the forest,
and as I left I heard a faint "thank you young man." That made my day, it truly did.
3. You are standing within the mighty human capital when you notice a small man standing behind a colourful stall. You approach the stall and notice that the man is selling a variety of general goods - he says that he is selling just about anything and that he has no set prices. He is willing to allow you to haggleand choose prices. What do you do? (Explain: your haggling, items of choice and the discussion that happens).
Answer: This morning I got up
early to buy some equipment. I recently made some gold at the local inn playing
my mandolin and telling stories, and had enough to buy some of the stuff I had
to sell back at that Dwarven village. I needed a new sword, and some decent
boots. A traveler like me does a lot of walking on his feet you know, and you
have to invest in some quality boots or your feet will be sore like a *****. I
walk over to this small old man, "What would you be looking for here lad?
I've got food, , weapons, maps, everything a traveler like you may need."
"And how would you know me as a traveler my friend?" I said. "Oh
your worn out fur boots and dirty hands gave it away, you can tell a lot about
a man by his hands. Anyway, being observant is an important part of being a
salesmen. Anyway I am assuming you would like some of my fine leather boots,
maybe a better blade than that iron you have there? Elven steel perhaps?"
"How much would those cost, I am on quite a budget." That merchant
chuckled like he saw an Orc in a dress, he said, "I heard you at the inn
last night, you buy me a drink and tell me a fine old story and I'll give you
what you want." I let out a grin, sometimes a charming personality can get
you more than you might expect. "You are very kind, I'll meet you at the
inn tonight."

I need a skin for an RP server Crafthammer... I wish to have a skin where the clothes I am wearing look like the Master Robes from Skyrim. It is a Caucasian male.
