Totally agree! Now PvP isn't based on connection and spam clicking! All those people with supercomputers won't defeat me now unless they have skill too =P
I'm glad to see your enjoying! Yesterday I beat a bunch of people who called themselves "pros" because da SPAM KLIK DOE (Sorry about the caps :3)
@Jaemeson I guess you can play it like that. It can be like that if you'd like :D!! But they made it a little kid-friendly so that kids could build and be awesome also! But that can work on hardcore mode! Even harder now in 1.9!
I started to play more and now im actually enjoying 1.9! The pvp has made noobs more into learning about mc. The left hand is just plain cool. And the end... *head explodes and another 1 grows* I hope u all r enjoying :D!!!!

Finally! Someone else who lags like crap on 1.9!!! I guess it isnt just me when I say "I lag like CRAZY on 1.9!!!" I'm not trying to hate at all but... #FixDisLagPls
It took so long because other crap happened last year, most notably Mojang being purchased by Microsoft. I'd say there was a good 6 months where they weren't even working on the game.
Oh, well I guess a year is still a crap time also for this... but I can give them that
I for one am not a fan of 1.9. I think it is an idiotcity to minecraft and it should never have been out. How did they spend a year and a half on it? I'm sorry if I'm a hater... but I really do not enjoy minecraft 1.9
Yes, they changed it so mobs with NoAI are effected by gravity and also can be pushed around by other mobs/players. There are ways to get around this by doing things like giving the mob levitation with a -1 amplifier, having a clock constantly going setting the mob's motion tag to [0d,0d,0d] or teleporting them in place, or having the mob join a scoreboard team which has the scoreboard option of collisionRule set to never.
So here I was trying to get on hypixel with 1.9... but when I did that... it kicked me out and this was the crash log:
