You mentioned using a texture pack... have you tried using the vanilla textures to see if it was a problem with the texture pack?
It was the texture pack. But I don't understand it, because I'm using the same texture pack that the Yogscast used (Flux Buddies) and they didn't have a problem with it... I'd really like to keep using sphax, I've gotten so used to it that the default minecraft textures are just horrible to me.
For some reason, my tainted biome isn't all purple.When I watch videos of people playing minecraft with this mod, the biomes are purple, but mine isn't. Help?
I have a sphax addon, and biomes o plenty, if that matters. I also can't downgrade my forge version because some of my other mods won't work then.
Adding dimensions would be a really cool addition, even if done the "lazy" way with the nether worldgen. And when I first saw Rift, i thought it would be cool to be able to enter the Rift, as its own dimension or something
Thank you SO MUCH for reviving the mod. Its my favorite of all of them, and when the original was discontinued, I had forgot to visit and see if anyone revived it until I was playing the old version today.
I had a pet pig named Porkers. He was just roaming around the first story of my house, and I was making a fireplace upstairs. I took all the precautions, with no way for the fire to reach the wooden walls of my home. But somehow, the fireplace, made of brick, caught fire on the mantel, and it spread. I couldn't get it under control, and couldn't get down to Porkers because my staircase was blocked by the flames. I had to jump out from upstairs, and leave Porkers in there. When I could finally get to him, all I found was two little cooked pork chops, just floating there. To this day those pork chops are sitting in a chest under the ruins of my house overlooking the valley. :'( He will be missed.
I really hope they make a minecraft movie! But my question is, what would it be about? It would be boring if it was just someone trying to survive or something. Maybe killing the enderdragon? idk

Smooth biomes was on. Swamp colors was off, so I turned that on, but it only fixed the water. The grass is still green, and not purple.
