    Hello! I am a long-time lurker and player of modded Minecraft, but have encountered an issue with Tinkers Construct and created an account to ask here. My question is: did I ruin my pick?





    I was adding blocks of redstone eight at a time using the Tinkers Table. This added 72 redstone to the tool, but only took up that one modifier, which now lists it as 72/50. When I try to add more redstone in any way, it will not take it. I tried adding a block of gold and diamond for another modifier, but to no avail. Is there any way to fix this? Or do I have to re-create the pick?

    Yeah I've never been able to get the block of gold and diamond to work. Try the enchanted golden apple and block of diamond instead. Nether star also works but obviously that's a bit more difficult, unless you have Lucky Block mod of course *shifty eyes*. The golden head is also not likely to work. But yeah the enchanted golden apple and diamond block should work, that'll bring you to a max of 100 redstone I think, although it does say you have two free modifier slots... Anyway good luck!

    It's very simple really. First, clear your mind of all thoughts, all of them. Now write a sentence. Now convince yourself to not care about the plethora of grammatical errors. Oh sorry, was that rhetorical? =P

    That config file is not naturally generated. It's in the same folder as the mod after you unzip the original download, you have to move it into your config file manually.

    I know it works client side except the ender eye needle cuz it has to get information from the server or something, but I don't know anything about LAN servers so *shrug* You install it by downloading it and putting it in your mods folder like any other mod.

    You don't craft them anymore. Throw the pie on the ground, then throw your bat on top of it.

    That doesn't help anyone. If it crashed where's the crash report? And how exactly does it not work, like what part of it is having problems, under what circumstances? Come on you can't expect him to help you if you're gonna be so vague about it.

    How do I know that the heart canisters are working? When I had just the red one, one of my hearts turned yellow, now I have the yellow one and the red one and my hearts are all normal and I don't have any extras or anything. Should I not be using both at once?

    Thats not a bug, its a feature. If you sneak click, the chest is set as target, but they wont disrupt their current job. They will go to the chest once their job is finished / inventory is full.

    Wait, what? Really? You just made my life a million times easier. I keep forgetting to set up their chest before I send them on a job >.<.

    but two non gamebreaking problems

    (well first thing i just cant figure out) two questions though , how do i set my minions to follow me?

    using the staff on a spot makes them go there and stay,clicking myself makes them pick me up, how do I make them just follow me around?

    second problem, Also occasionly I think my minions are "dissapearing" but they are still there, I just cant see themits happened about 3 times, idk what causes it its not that often though.

    desummoning them and resummoning them fixes it, but it uses up all my hunger

    help once again appreciated and

    loving mod so far

    Hold right click for a while with the staff to make them follow. We've all been having the invisible minions issue for a while now don't expect a fix any time soon.

    I reinstalled this mod (extracted mod and config folder to the directory)left the staff with the default 2527.



    now when I type in give rbfloat05 2527 it says the ID doesnt exit. its like the item isnt even in my game.


    When I changed the ID of the other mods item to a new one I tried give rbfloat 3789 and it gives me it correctly.



    its as if the staff is missing from my game even though there are no other conflicts with the ID 2527 anymore I think.




    I can get the menu of the minion mod up , but all it says is the darkness listens and then never mind.


    Any help much appreciated., not enough items cant find the staff either btw.

    If NEI can't find it it sounds like it's still an ID conflict, but this is only speaking from my very limited experience. Would that sort of thing be listed in the log? It's not giving you a different item when you do the evil deeds?

    Plurp, the Smeltery recipes are added by NEIplugins, in case you didn't already know. If you did, I'm beating a dead horse, in which case is animal cruelty, and I should stop.

    Edit: don't be sad, things only work when we try to show they don't. :P

    XD thanks that makes me feel a bit better. I did not know that actually, would you mind pointing me towards them?
