posted a message on Nostalgia :/
No, I'm not saying that nostalgia is bad or anything. Like I stated at the start and end, this is just a rant and a ( what you might call a short biography of the greater half of my life) little story about my latest (and quite possibly the strongest) experience with nostalgia.

And I do live with my parents...

posted a message on Nostalgia :/
First off, I wanna say this is a rant that I've wanted to rant, nothing ground-breaking.

I've gone from school from school (4 to be exact) due to various reasons, and my dad's work. 6 years ago, my dad was relocated to Chicago, for 2 years (repeated 1 grade due to... 'language reasons,' Spanish is my native language. When I came back, i repeated half of the scholar year (stupid languages! D:<), and stayed there for 3 years after that. I made some friends and enemies, as you might guess, and was getting used to the place, and I liked it! I had to change again, to the school I went to 6 years ago, because certain friends said that high school in the latest school wasn't as good... Well, I've been there for 2.2 years, quite happily, and done well. So, just now, (school year just started here) guess what? One of the new girls is someone I knew in the school I was in before the one I'm in (2 years ago, for those keeping count). She had come in when I had completely forgotten about the last school and its occupants, more specifically, my friends. Sure, we had some laughs the first day (this Wednesday was the start of the scholar year), and told her some stuff about the school.

Now, finally to the point: these last 2 days, I've started to remember everything and everyone, I've had dreams (more like soft-core-ish-y nightmares...), and I haven't really realized how much I missed the place until now. Now, I have this strong nostalgic feeling that I can't shake, specially for some girl (no, nothing was going on between us, mind you, we were just very good friends), which I really don't know why. And, to finish losing my dignity: I've had some sobs here and there.. ;(

Yes I understand that people come and go, and I can live with that, it's just that girl, I just don't know.

    Why did she have to come to my school?!?!?!! D;

Meh, that was the rant/history of a greater part of my life, happy?

Here endeth the lesson. Dang, you guys are good readers... *ba dun ching*. Get it? Listeners, readers? :biggrin.gif:. Guys? Meh.

Ps: Thanks for your patience, if you actually read through that.

Hey guys, I've seen some gameplay of both Fallout 3 and New Vegas...... And I want one of them.

I would appreciate it if someone is kind enough, to compare (if possible, Pros and Cons) them, please.
FYI: I already have Oblivion, so I know the basic feel for the games.

    Thanks in advance.

Well, simple, if you've got the money BUY BOTH! :tongue.gif:

    If not:

    P2:
I've played it, it basically depends on what genre you prefer the most. This game has many puzzles in it, if you like platforming-esque-puzzlers, you'll love it. When you complete the puzzles, it's very satisfactory to go through the fizzler and laugh at GLaDOS in the face! The graphics are quite nice, it has a funny and quite realistic (not like other games, they just throw you in and you start chopping people up....) storyline. IMO, it is a great game, you'll enjoy it (unless you DEFINATELY just HATE puzzlers).

    MK:
I can't speak for the newer versions of the series, I have the very first ones that came out for the PS2; kinda old, you might guess. Also depends on the genres you like. In this game, you can break every bone in the guy's body, you can decapitate him(her) with your fists, you can pull out their lungs and heart(s) and watch them slowly die and bleed out. Some newer versions (I think) have this little system that you can use to see which bones you've broken and the like. It has many intricate maps that you can interact with (break the glass in a tower to push the opponent to the streets and continue chopping them up there).

In my opinion, you should get P2 (again, I can't speak for the newer versions of MK, I have the old ones, just saying), unless you like chopping up people with magical green arrows. It's really up to you.

    Hmm, interesting *strokes chin*.....

From what I understand, these could be the solutions:

    1. Back up saves and txp (texturepacks, if you have them and want to keep them), delete the .minecraft folder, and try all over again.
    2. Check the recepies... it happens! :biggrin.gif:
    3. Make sure you have the correct versions of the respective mods, one sometimes downloads them absent-mindedly...

If these don't work, sue Notch [/bad sarcasm]

PS: Please don't sue him.. It's a joke, besides, HE'S ALREADY IN A STUPID LAWSUIT BECAUSE BETHESDA WANTS TO PATENT THE WORD 'Scrolls.' [/rage]

    Hope this helped.

You should include [WIP] on the OP's title....

Also, this idea looks awesome, instead of making the trees cacti, why dont you try and make them kind of dead-looking, like a tree that is supposed to live on 'normal' land but is in the desert. Good luck!
