    If you do add the Nemean lion, just saying it would be overpowered if it actually blocked all damage like in the myths. Maybe just give it as many armor points as a full set of diamond armor (and hitting it in the mouth would bypass the armor).


    I think it might need a bit more armor points than diamond armor offers but as long as it is hard to fight but still possible to beat. The mouth idea also sounds pretty cool.

    By the way are you guys still taking suggestions? I was reading about mythological birds the other day (because of Pokemon Go, apparently all three legendary birds are based on actual birds from legend) and found that the phoenix and roc could fit in with this mod. Although both might be too much, maybe just pick one if you like it.

    The phoenix, a bird of fire about the size of a player, is found in the desert. It flies around and avoids people, making it hard to hunt. Upon death it burns up, leaving behind a bunch of phoenix ash, phoenix feathers, and a small fiery egg. The egg can then be incubated in fire, similar to a fire dragon, to hatch a baby phoenix. The ashes and feathers have some important function, idk, but you guys have had great ideas with the dragon's blood and scales so you'll probably think of something. Additionally, the tears of a phoenix can be used for brewing, maybe as an alternative to ghast tears because of their regenerative properties? To attract a nearby phoenix, you must drop golden apples on the ground; that idea comes from the Slavic version of the phoenix myth where it steals the king's golden apples.

    Also what's weird is I feel like I already suggested the phoenix at one point, but I guess it wasn't for this mod because I can't find it.

    The roc is a giant eagle-like bird, the size of a small dragon, that inhabits coastal cliffs. It preys on squid, hippocampi, and even sea serpents (that's actually from the mythology btw). Due to their predatory nature, rocs are not tameable, but their eggs are prized as a delicacy, as one egg can feed dozens of men and is a favorite food of dragons (will accelerate dragon growth). Their nests also contain treasure, including the remains of both sea serpents they've hunted and bold heroes who have tried to steal their eggs.

    I think this sounds like a really good idea.

    YEEEEEEESSSSSS! after over a year of searching i have finally found a mod that fits what i have been wanting and looking for!! i absolutely can not wait for this to be out. i was a little saddened when i read that you will not be making it for 1.7.10. (all the other mods i use are for 1.7.10) but i will just make a new profile and get this because this is exactly what i have been wanting for ever. like percy jackson meets harry potter meets lord of the rings. is there any news on when the first download will be available? if it is not going to be for 1.7.10 what version is it going to be for?

    Just some ideas:

    •5x5 tier 2 launch pad for tier 5+ rockets


    •A gravity sealer and gravity bubble distributor (will make the environment have the same gravity as overworld.)


    •Glass/transparent airlock doors (maybe the recipe could use your crystals somehow)


    •Compatibility with smart moving mod.


    •Force field bubble distributor. Will work like oxygen bubble distributor but will b 2-3 times larger and mobs will not b able to get past it. Also if more than one are in use and they touch they will combine to make a bigger dome. Limit of connected force field distributors should be 3 or 4. They should only Run off tier two power or other mods power sources or make your crystals a power source. Only players and tamed pets can pass through it.


    •Make a tier 2 oxygen bubble distributor and terra former (and gravity bubble distributor if you make one) where their bubbles are 2 times larger than the regular oxygen bubble distributor and terra former.


    •For higher tier rockets like 15+ (when that day comes) maybe make them only launch-able from space via a space station docking area.


    •More mobs.


    •And as always more planets.🙂
