From what I heard, the console edition is being completely reworked to make it compatible with the PE and Windows 10 Edition. So that's easily gonna be the version that will benefit the most from Better Together, being brought from an inferior port to completely on par with other versions of Minecraft in a single update.
Oh how naive we all were...

Hah, nobody competent is gonna fall for that.
Lemme show you my tank...

Yeah. If anyone makes an actual version of this mod for other versions, the download will probably be found here.

Also, things are reasonably priced, and you're able to check out texture packs before you buy them, at the cost of not saving.

IMO bedrock feels terrible to play. The store is depressing to even look at. MCXB1 edition should still be sold in stores and online, not prevented from ever seeing the light of day again.

I have a fully armed and repaired T-34 tank.
My defense is being in the tank.

I completely agree. Its astonishing to see people defending a port of pocket edition that even feels terrible on the version it was built for. Either update legacy editions again and leave Bedrock as an option for those who want it, or cater more to the console community with settings.

I'll also add in that the console editions are great for creative, as you can build and have fun with friends on the same screen without having to buy multiple copies of the game.

We want the new stuff where we dont feel like we're being ignored in favor of a pocket edition port. Because thats all bedrock edition is. Consoles and phones should have stayed separate, not be merged in a way that completely ignores the complaints of the console players. I've been playing java and console, and I always liked how console allowed local play. My builds on a world on xbox one are far larger and more detailed than anything I've built on java simply because I could play with my friends locally. When they discontinued updates for XB one and keep nagging us to play a pocket edition port we dont want to play, it makes us angry because we HAVE to play the inferior version for update aquatic. I myself was actually excited... until I played bedrock for fifteen minutes. It was ugly, floaty, and simply felt like it didn't belong on a console. Because it doesn't. It is literally mobile UI. I have pocket edition, and the user interface was PERFECTLY FINE there. If cross play was wanted, it should have been that console editions were merged into simply "Console edition", java edition remained "Minecraft", and pocket edition remained pocket edition.
