Looks great, I can tell a lot of work went into this. Also, I like the panorama.

    In creative...

Actually, I don't play survival much, usually I just play creative, so I haven't built many bases.

posted a message on HEY! WHAT DO YOU THINK? Senate of the Nation "NEW MODERN TOWERS" Alaryen City

Looks nice, but I really don't agree with the patterned sides on the skyscraper. I think you should keep it on the base and as a highlight on the tower, but not as a full wall. The design looks pretty great for the base though, it reminds me of bedrock.

Looks great! The tower has a nice amount of detail and a nice top, and the gardens are really nicely done.

posted a message on Misty Terrace Condos - Modern Skyscraper

This is a pair of towers that I built, based off an image I found on google. Both towers are identical with the exception of the rooftop on the second one. It is built in version 1.12 in the Flows HD resource pack. The trees are take from the Custom Tree Repository, by lentebriesje.

They contain 48 apartments, a rooftop lounge, tennis and basketball courts, underground parking lots, and a pool. There's some other features but they're not worth mentioning. Also, I'll be adding more pictures in a comment, because of the attachment limit.

    Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

Here's the rest of the pictures.

posted a message on Help me!

Try a theme park or a resort, or maybe a combination of both. You can start with a basic plan, and you can spend tons of time building individual rides and attractions, or detailing little things in. Most of all, you only have to do a little bit at a time. Each time you get on you could build only one small ride, or a restaurant/gift shop, or you could do something bigger like an epic roller coaster if you have more time.

If you ask me it's way to simple, it lacks detail and depth. Also, the inside's too empty.

Wow, looks awesome. I love how it's slightly minimalist and has those nice green highlights with the grass. Also, an interior tour would be nice.

I think the design is nice, but the kitchen feels over-detailed, cluttered. But besides that, nice work.

posted a message on How to be a better builder.

First you should try learning the basics, mainly Depth, shape, palette, and detail.

Depth basically means making things stick out. For example, instead of making a log frame on the same wall layer as the wood planks, make it stick out one block. At first this will feel weird, but over time you'll get used to it and really like the look of it better.

Shape simply means not making your build a square, and palette means choosing good materials/colors for your builds. The main tip I can give for that is to have at minimum three materials. One should be a main material, another should be for detailing, and another should be for accenting. This is pretty basic though, you just have to learn how to make a good palette as you go. Really it isn't that hard, people tend to more naturally be able to say what looks nice and what doesn't.

And last, add detail to your builds, to make them look nice and not flat or bland.

If you want more tips, just ask, I've watched and read tons of building tutorials, so I've learned a lot.

posted a message on Small Suggestions

It would be kind of cool to find random written books in places, like villages or dungeons. They just contain a short one-page (one page of the book) story, about something random.

posted a message on Two Alternatives to Guns
    Quote from AMPPL50»

1: What have rockets done to you? They already deal damage, so it's just adding a practical means of using them as weapons (Then again, I have already done that suggestion). I didn't mention anything about rockets. This is an alternative to guns, not rockets, so there's no point in bringing that up. (Unless your trying to get attention for your suggestion)

2: Crossbows aren't a "variant of a bow". They're very different from each other. For starters, crossbows can be loaded before firing them, which isn't possible with bows; and crossbows also have more variants. The main reason I call them a variant is because it's very similar to a bow, and I needed a word that could work for both new enchants and a crossbow. But to be honest, a crossbow is basically a sideways and more powerful bow. Don't be so technical with words, I just needed a word that could describe both.

3: Finally, do you realize that your suggestion comes from "We shouldn't add guns so we should add crossbows", right? Apart from assuming that guns are a planned feature, it also falls in the same crap as most gun suggestions, in that the suggestion itself is of poor quality (In this case, the recipe makes 0 sense, as it hardly resembles a crossbow, and the crossbow's mechanics are so undetailed that it seems that they're a reskinned bow, which is PAINFULLY inaccurate). Yes, my main reason for this post is that I think crossbows or new enchants are a better idea than guns, because guns in my opinion wouldn't fit in. I didn't describe the crossbow in detail because the main point of this post is to offer an alternative to guns, not go all in depth about adding a new weapon. Also, the recipe is meant to be the bow but coated with metal, in a sense making it stronger. Since it would be stronger, it would shoot faster, farther, and more accurately.

posted a message on Eating raw foods giving chance of food poisoning.

I think an interesting idea would be to have eating raw foods, mainly vegetables and meat, have a 20% chance of giving food poisoning. The main reasons for this would be to encourage cooking foods. I also chose 20% so that there would be enough of a risk that it actually is more convenient to cook food, but not too annoying that it makes raw foods unedible. If you can suggest a better number, then please do because i'm not great with percentages and stuff. However, even with the food poisoning, eating them could still be done, because you can do it with rotten flesh if you eat a lot at the same time, and the poisoning doesn't take as much away as you gained.

The exceptions to this would be melon and apples, as they have no cooked variants, and are fruit. Since carrots also don't have one, what I would suggest is adding carrot stew, which is basically mushroom stew with carrots instead of mushrooms. Another feature of an addition like this would be the ability to stack rabbit, mushroom, and carrot stew, so that it's not inconvenient to carry them around.

posted a message on Bedrock Armor

Usually I am hostile to new armor improvements, but this actually sounds pretty good. It seems pretty balanced, as slowness can be a good way to do that. Plus, it gives lower gear players a chance to escape, so that they don't get mercilessly farmed by bedrock players. Also, I love how much effort was put into this post. So, I support.
