Well the /effect command is for potions. And 1000 isnt an effect value also 4800 ticks=48 seconds if that's what the duration value is. Can you understand why I'm a bit suspicious?
My friends and I are planning to go to Disneyland this summer I am 14 and they will both be 15 by summer I was wondering if we would need a parent/guardian with us. Or could we just go in? (after buying a ticket of course )
This is the Pixel's Hardcore Challenge thread! This challenge will strain you and your Minecraft abilities to the fullest extent (and then some more)!
First off, the Rules!
1. You may not spawn in any items.
2. You must use one of the given seeds to generate your world.
3. The world type must be HARDCORE instead of survival
4. Doing it with multiple people is allowed, but you must complete atleast half of the group challenges and each person must do the individual challenges.
5. You must do atleast 7 of the Single Player Challenges
6. You may only make ONE bed. (per person if multiplayer)
7. No flying or fly mod please!
Single Player Chllenges (of Doom!)
-Collect enough diamonds to build a full set of diamond armor
-Collect atleast a stack of all ores except diamonds (Ores being gold, iron, coal, lapis, and redstone)
-Collect a stack of Obsidian (Yes, you can use a generator)
-Collect enough cobblestone to fill a double chest (Yes, you can use a generator) then use all your collected cobble to build a fortress! (If you want to be a BOSS build your fort in the Nether)
-Collect 2 stacks of every type of log
-Make a Golden Apple (If you want to be a BOSS throw it in lava!)
-Collect a stack of Mossy Cobble
-Make a Pumpkin farm
-Make a Melon farm
-Make a Pig farm
-Make a stack of Magenta Wool
-Make a stack of TNT (If you want to be a BOSS then throw all of your mining/digging equipment into lava, then only use the TNT to mine until you run out)
- (For BOSSES ONLY) Beat the Enderdragon.
-Do a level 30 or above enchantment
Group Challenges (Of Doom-er?!)
-Collect enough logs (any type) to fill a double chest, then build an ultimate mansion with it (you may turn it into planks)
-Build a home in the Nether
-Find a Stronghold
-Find a Nether Stronghold
-Build your house at y=100 or above
-Beat the Enderdragon
-Build a Spleef arena, then fight your friend(s) to the death to see who is the World Champion of Awesome Sauce on a Big Fat CAKE
-Collect a stack of diamonds (If you want to be a BOSS, throw it all into lava)
1.2 Challenges
-Move into a village
-Destroy all structures in a village and erect one single building for the villagers using only wooden doors as entrances/exits
-Survive a night using only a wooden sword and 32 arrows + bow while in a village
-Build a structure(s) to defend the villagers at night (ie walls, fortress, castle, etc.)
-Amass an army of AT LEAST 20 cats to defend you, your buildings, and other possesions from creepers

LIKE A BOSS
Post your pictures doing any of the "To be a BOSS" part of some challenges as a reply and they will be put here!
I was farming pumpkins earlier today and i thought, what if you could enchant a hoe? like you could do one called Fertillity (With all 4 tiers) where the plant placed on the land cut by the enchanted hoe would grow faster. There could be one called scavenger where there is a random chance of when you hoe dirt sometimes a melon or pumkin seed would pop up (just like the old way of finding seeds). there could also be one called Harvester where there is a chance of double the plants drops if you break the plant with a hoe! These are just some ideas what do you think?
Maybe that "secret" is only the recipe... Perhaps we've already had the item, but no one knows how to craft it? (I'm talking about how mods like TMI give you all the times).
For example for those who don't understand.... Chainmail. People can get the item through multiplayer, SMP, etc by putting in the simple Item ID. Legitimately you can't craft it (it's made with the "Fire" block, which is unobtainable). Maybe... there is a way to make "Fire"?
