I'll just rather put up the unpolished one. Everything is OK in it, animations, effects and et cetera, but it's just not the best I can do. I'd polish it if there's more time after I submitted it.

Nah, you're cool. No worries. I'm just overly stubborn when I know I'm right. I keep sort of hoping that they'll understand. It's that "trying to have faith in human nature" thing. Probably one of my bigger mistakes.
I'm not saying that pirating is never going to happen. Heck, I know a few people who do download pirated software. I'm one of those people who like to collect stuff and display them, even if you have used or played them already. Like Manga for example. I have read all 600+ chapters of One Piece, but I'm still on volume 22 of collecting it. Having the real stuff makes you feel good.
It is not that I am convinced of my own arguments. I'm going to hazard a guess that you haven't studied economics. If you had, this would seem pretty basic to you. I will try to dumb it down.
The company has expended costs to provide something, in this case a program. Unlike with physical products, where there is a finite inventory, this product is data. It is true that there is no physical limit to the number of copies that the company is able to provide. The company is still selling an item, however. They are selling copies of their program. Taking a copy of their program means you have taken one of their product. If everyone took a copy of their product and refused to pay, meaning everyone pirated their software, then they would be out all the costs that they spent to produce their program. Nobody would be questioning whether or not this was a loss to their company then. This does not mean that if most people do purchase it, that the copies which were pirated are not still a loss. They have taken copies of their program, meaning they have taken the product that is being sold, and have not paid for it. This is considered, both economically and statistically, as a loss of profit by the company.
I would say people who pirated the game because they can't afford it or don't have the means to pay online. I'll admit when I came to the forums, that was the boat I was in: a damn dirty pirate :wink.gif:

Actually, I have played it since 2006/07 (around there) I believe. I found that since then ROBLOX has definitely declined. Yes, there are scripts, but be serious. Most developers on that site would rather paste a bunch of zombies on a baseplate with "building supplies" than figure out how to script. They'd probably make more tickets from that too. It has the occasional good level, but that is no doubt outweighed by the rampant users who have no idea how to act. Hell, from that site, I've received multiple death threats, including one saying they'll shoot me in front of their kids. He also told me he was 18. Honestly, the community is mostly horrible.

Personally though, as an old user of 2006 on ROBLOX, which I do occasionally play myself, the community at ROBLOX is in the crapper. It was much better during 2006-2008. Then the administrators got "kinda" greedy, but that's only because they're a business and they need to pay their employees and run servers.
A lot of the staff are nice people, and I'm friends with two of them, one being a super moderator, MrDoombringer, and another being the ROBLOX creative designer, Telamon. Who I keep in contact with on twitter frequently.

Playing Roblox doesn't instantly you're immature. There are a lot of stuff there that needs intelligence. But being an arrogant person on roblox or forum user in roblox like the creator of the website MAKES you immature.
I lol'd when he said internet girlfriends when the creator of the website is in no doubt a kid, and you can see in roblox some "boy friend girl friend" stuff. Like, kids asking other fake or legit "girls" to go out on a "date".
