    I am getting this same exact error (but for 1.7.10), and the damn thing was just working not more than 30 minutes ago just fine. Their website appears down, too, so I am wondering if that is what is affecting the launcher.

    posted a message on Minecraft Forge, won't work with 1.7.2?
    Are the changes from 1.7.2 *that* different for the structure of mods? Serious question, because on the surface, it doesn't seem like certain things, like Forge, would need to be all that much different, if at all. You know, some new blocks, a slightly different world gen structure for the new biomes, etc. Looking at it that way, it's hard to see why something like Forge would even need an update.

    Unless mods like Forge rely on hex offsets, in which case, nevermind. XD

    I don't know how many people do this, but I often name interesting places I find in my worlds. Sometimes, you can't tell what something is from a top-down view, either, so I always thought it would be nice if I could add markers or labels to the maps I make.

    I am looking for a mod that would allow me to construct objects using the standard blocks in the game, but allow them to be buildable vehicles.

    For example, I could build a large ship out of wood planks, fences, and wool blocks, and use the mod to allow it to be used as an actual ship and sail the water.

    Or construct a zepplin out of iron, gold and diamond blocks and rule the skies in a mobile, metal, fortress.

    Not sure if this can be done, or if such a mod exists, even in some small capacity. If it can be done, but hasn't been yet, I have a few more ideas to help flesh it out if anyone is interested in taking on such a thing.

    Well, I installed SCP to just a new install of the game and it didn't crash; but it didn't work either. I am not getting the message stating it loaded correctly, nor am I able to execute any of the commands.

    I did this twice to be sure, so I am thinking there is some sort of issue with the manual installer. I'm gonna try the automatic one now...

    EDIT: Okay. That worked. Now let's see if it works for my modded game...

    EDIT 2: Nope. So it's a conflict with a mod...

    Does this require a new world to be made? I installed it just fine, though Forge doesn't show it in the list of installed mods within the game. When I try to load my world, it freezes then crashes.

    I think it may be an incompatibility with the Smart Moving Mod, since it uses some components of MCP, but I do not actually have MCP installed in it's entirety; just what was needed for Smart Moving. I will try using the MCP compatible version and see if that helps.

    EDIT: That's not even gonna work, since it would require the entire MCP to be installed to install the MCP compatible version of SPC. :o

    I absolutely *love* this mod. It is a builder's dream come true... Almost. I found this collection looking for something else, but the Microblocks portion alone is amazing. It would be complete if more of the blocks it adds worked with being cut up into blocks (I do not understand why the Clear Glass Block added by the mod can be cut into magic slabs, but the colored varieties of the same block can not) as well as allowing items like paintings, item frames, torches, etc to be places off set of normal blocks, like being able to place multiple corner blocks into a single block space.

    This post isn't about what the mod lacks, though; I am here to praise this collection by showing off just the kinds of things a builder can do so here's 1400 words describing how epic this mod collection is:

    This is my house. Fairly basic, but it's far more complex than it appears.

    Notice the weather strips on the door and windows.

    Very thin poles to support my porch light

    Here's the living area. Nice throw rug and a sectional, along with display cases for my eventual trophies.

    Notice the rafters; Those aren't fence blocks, folks!

    Here's the kitchen. Everything nice and neat.

    A good use of panels allow these stairs to be both sepearated and hidden, with minimal loss of traversable space in the home.

    My bedroom. This is where the magic happens, if you know what I mean...

    Last, but certainly not least, the basement storage room. The only vanilla blocks here are the walls, chests, and lamps.

    That isn't exactly what I was looking for...

    I was hoping to be able to to put glass panes, full blocks, frames, paintings, torches, etc into these spaces. Microblocks just adds smaller block types. It doesn't appear to do what I am asking. If it does allow what I want as a sort of side-effect, though, let me know.
