well, since everyone seems to want respawn times longer than a minute, looks like i'll be playing on a private server with my friends (assuming you can configure respawn times)
when i go to play minecraft, i usually expect to have fun while i play it
i die often and it's usually from something stupid, like falling off of a gigantic tower i just built, a zombie punting me into lava, that stupid glitch where you die when you lose all of your armor no matter how much actual health you had, etc
if something like this happens, i think it's enough that i lose all of the items i was carrying
i don't go to play a game just so i can wait hours on end to play again if i mess up somewhere

would you mind making a version of this that lets lava spread on any surface but still doesn't ignite anything?
