Community Question: Would you say playing CTM maps is generally easier or harder in multiplayer (2-3 players)?
There are some ways that multiplayer makes a map easier, but in other ways the map becomes more difficult (gear becomes more spread out, server lag). I think having a (competent) buddy to play a map with makes a map more fun, but does it make the map easier or harder to complete (generally speaking)?
It feels much more easier.
Maps becomes slightly more difficult. With all that extra consumption of materials, you'll be guzzling up resources like a fuel-inefficient SUV, but you can carry more items, which is a huge plus.Overall, it's more about the fun factor and it's always much more fun to play with them.
Yeah, but it directs people to his channel effectively, and stops spam-esque posts over here, so it might work. I'll give it a few days and monitor it all as well.

Guys, I have a question, I've been wondering about something, how do you remove the monotonous feel to a stone wall, adding other blocks to it doesn't really seem to just make it feel less monotone
COMMUNITY QUESTION: How do you think of areas, i.e. get inspiration for them?
I sometimes see something in real life, like one time I saw a forest that looked interesting, and I'm making a whole area out of what i saw. Other times when I'm bored I just think of stuff, or when I see other maps I see an area and like how it looks, and try to make an area using that mapmakers technique.
I have no inspiration right now, so that really why i asked this question, but that is the rough idea of how I get ideas for areas.
I watch old movies like Harry Potter and sometimes newer movies like twilight so as to get inspiration from the landscapes.
I've been working on my 3rd CTM, 'Starwind' for a few hours today and I've done up to the Yellow wool
Here's the lore for the Yellow Wool area, called 'Disturbed Slumber'-
When time was young, a band of adventurers discovered a cavern, deep beneath the surface. Every wall, every floor and behind every corner, gold gleamed as it reflected the light of their torches. They journeyed deeper still.
They began to hear rustles and scampers of clinking claws. Wet breaths and wheezing laughter... The adventurers returned to the surface as quickly as they could and none ever spoke a word of their discoveries...
Years later, a young prospector came upon the cavern and was overcome by wonder and greed. He spread word of the gold as far as he could. Staring at the gold, he had not noticed the creeping shadows and echoing whispers around him...
From around the land, gold miners came to the cavern and every day they dug deeper. After years of mining, a gigantic blue crystal was uncovered! It sparkled, but its admirers failed to notice the shadows lurking beneath its many facets..
A talented thief known as Dandie Lion learned of the gem and snuck into the cavern in the undead of night. As he struck the gem with his pick, it cracked. Then it split in two! Darkness lunged out and consumed the thief. And there he remains...
Rustles, scampers. Clinking claws. Wet breaths and wheezing laughter... And the rattle of bones...

Community Question: What do you think makes a great custom mob good compared to a lackluster custom mob?
A great custom mob would be one that gives a different gameplay aspect than the normal Hit-And-Kill or just simply using a bow to kill it. One that would make you think before you hit
