posted a message on Ocean+ (turtles included)
Look let's face the fact... there is only ONE water mob, and some people want more than just a squid. So this is a topic about New Water Mob ideas. This won't just be a topic that takes one thing and copies it. By the way, this is just a re-post of my suggestion for the PC version, with some changes here and there, but I just thought "Why not?" considering 4J Studios said that the XBox 360 version of Minecraft won't be an exact copy of the PC version. I also understand that most of this won't get added, maybe at most, half of it, due to what-ever reason.

Fix - Water that is viewed through glass, appears like it is flowing, it just plain bothers me

    Underwater Mobs

    Fish
Health - 1 (that means it has 1 FULL heart)
Speed - 1.0 (same as player, every whole number is a block)
Drops - Fish (what did you expect.... a diamond sword)
    Spawn Rate - Common 2-5
    Always swim in groups
    Passive
Spawn Egg - Light Blue, with light gray, and gray

    Green Sea Turtle
    Health - 12
    Speed - 0.9
Drops - Shell 10% to drop (See items for further explanation)
    Spawn Rate - Uncommon
    Passive
Spawn Egg - Brown, and Green
Special - Can walk on land, when on land it's speed is 0.4

    Crab (Breed-able)
    Health - 2
Attack - 1 (that means it does one full heart of damage)
    Speed - 0.5
Drops - Crab Meat 10% to drop (See items for further explanation)
Spawn Rate - Uncommon, don't despawn (once they all die, they die forever)
Neutral, unless you are in 5 block proximity of it's nest (which is a hole in the ground with sponge) which makes it completely hostile
Spawn Egg - Pink with some slightly darker/lighter spots, and two black dots to resemble eyes in the upper-middle

    Barracuda
    Health - 6
    Attack - 4
    Speed - 1.2
Drops - Teeth 30% to drop (See items for further explanation)
    Spawn Rate - Rare
    Hostile
Spawn Egg - Silver, with black stripe going down the middle

    Sea Urchins
    Health - 3
Attack - Each time it is hit by player by HAND, player will lose 1 heart and get poisoned
    Speed - Extremely slow, 0.2
Drops - Broken Spike 85% to drop (See items for further explanation)
    Spawn Rate - Uncommon
Basically is an underwater version of cactus that can move
    Passive
Spawn Egg - Purple, with pink some pink dots

"Grave Keeper" Great White Shark (Sunken Ship BOSS)
    Health - 50
Attack - 3 Hearts of damage
    Speed - 1.5
Drops - Razor Blade 100% (See items for further explanation)
Spawn Rate - Sunken Ship ONLY
    Hostile

    Angler Fish (TRENCH)
    Health - 3
Attack - 1 Heart of damage
    Speed - 1.0
    Drops - Angler 75%
Spawn Rate - Uncommon, Trench ONLY
Special - Angler will have a glowing effect, and lures normal fish and then eats them, restores 2.5 hearts to angler fish (will make a sound as if the player was eating)
    Neutral
Spawn Egg - Black with yellow dot in middle

    Parrot Fish
    Health - 2
    Speed - 1.0
    Drops - Coral 15%
Spawn Rate - Uncommon, only when there are 5 coral blocks or more
Special - Eats coral (will make a sound as if the player was mining stone)
Eats 2 coral blocks per day, takes about 3 seconds to eat a single coral block, if it has not eaten 2 coral blocks in a day, it will die
    Passive
Spawn Egg - Blue, with dark blue

Land Shark (do not take this one seriously)
    Health - 800
    Attack - 20
    Speed - 1.0
    Drops - Nothing
    Spawn Rate - Uncommon
Description - "Oh no there's a Shark in the water! If we get on land we will be safe though!" WRONG... the Land Shark is coming for you > :D
If you want to know the reference, watch this video and skip all the way to 11:10

    Underwater Structures
    Sunken Ship
Spawn Rate - Extremely Rare 3%
    Chest - Iron Ingot 1-13 100%, Gold Ingot 1-6 85%, Iron Sword 1-2 99%, Iron Armor (whole set) 15%, Painting (2-5) 60%, creeper spawn egg 100%, fishing rod 40%, fish 1-9 75%, and gunpowder (1-5) 30%
    Mobs - All underwater mobs
Boss- "Grave Keeper" Great White Shark
Description - The treasure is just as great as the risk, the risk being of course the Grave Keeper, the supposed "guardian" of the treasure... but what would I know those are just rumors

    Trench
    Same as ravine... but underwater
Mobs - Trench mobs and normal fish
Sunken Ship has an increased 5% chance to spawn inside

    Ruins
Description - Basically villages that have an abandoned/flooded feeling to them, example: no doors, no glass blocks (no glass panels either) will have cobblestone but some of it is mossy cobblestone, and will also be missing some blocks (about 1-4 blocks)
Can range from an abandoned well and a little house, to an entire village
    Chests
    Library - Books (1-7) 100%, paper (1-5) 95%, and Ink sacks (1-5) 95%
Smithy (forge, or whatever you call it) - Anything found in a normal smithy
Farm House (the little house that appears next to farms) - Iron Hoe 95% , seeds (1-15) 65%, wheat (1-24) 75%
Description - Ruined buildings with a lot of treasure inside, nothing to see here

    Underwater Blocks
    Coral
Colors - All colors of the dyes
Comes in a variety of colors, mine-able with any pick (Decoration, can be crafted into dyes, depending on color)
Will steadily grow (1 new coral block added every 1 MC day for each coral)
The above means that for example if you start with 1 coral, after 5 MC days you will have 32 blocks of coral
There is a 20% chance the new coral block will be glowing coral
    Spawn Rate - Rare
    Spawn in groups of 3-9

    Seaweed
Green and/or yellow, grows like sugarcane, except it only grows in water
    See items for further explanation

    Glowing Coral
    Mine-able with any pick
Produces 7 blocks of light, not hindered by water, only works IN water
Color - Green in the center with blue around it

    Items
    The Riptide
    Damage - 3.5
    Durability - 1200 (compared to Diamond sword's 1562)
Special - Gives wounded effect to whomever is hit (causes mob to be slowed down by 40% for 12 seconds)
Description - A legendary blade of untold power

    Turtle Shell (Chest Armor)
Durability - Same as Leather, which is 81
Protection - 2 Armor Points (compared to Leather's 1.5 armor points)
Description - You killed a harmless turtle for that.... you monster!

    Angler
Use - Combined with fishing pole, grants the ability to "deep sea" fish, the water needs to be at LEAST 18 blocks deep, the bob will be completely inside the water, so you will have to rely on the string shaking, and the splashing sound the water makes, and instead of just catching fish, other mobs will swim towards the bob and if they touch the bob they will die and turn into a drop item version of themselves, if you want the actual item the mob drops (barracuda's teeth for example) you will have to craft the mob it self and the mob will be used and you will get the item it usually drops.
Catch-able mobs - Barracuda, Parrot fish, Angler fish, and of course normal fish
Craft-able mobs (this means that you can put the mob "item" and get it's normal drop) - Barracuda, and angler fish
Credit to Jonmcdonald for the idea

    Broken Spikes
Use - 3 broken spikes= spike trap, place on the ground, and it will do the same damage as cactus and have the ability to destroy dropped items

    Crab meat
Use - Can be traded with villagers for stuff, 8 crab meat will get you a single emerald (once implemented)
Use - If eaten raw, will restore 2.5 hunger bars, if eaten cooked, will restore 4 hunger bars, AND give "Health Regeneration I"
    Description - Can I hassssss sssssome:SSSS:

    Seaweed
Use - Use on crabs to enable breeding mode o_o
Use - Can be crafted into green or yellow dye, 50% chance it will be either one

    Teeth
Use - Used in brewing, gives the potion you use it on a second use (for example, a splash potion of harming can be used twice)
Description - "Apparently, a potion's chemical properties has a very chemical reaction with Barracuda Teeth, maybe it's something the Barracuda ate?"

Mobs caught by fishing rod with angler/ hunger restored
    Barracuda
    Uncooked - 1
    Cooked - 4

    Parrot Fish
    Uncooked - .5
    Cooked - 2

    Angler Fish
    Uncooked - .5
    Cooked - 3

    Another golem thread o_o
    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU_

    Quote from porky_pig08

dimond golm shoud be in game i wish it was bu its not
abilates (I wish Diamond Golems would be in the game, but they aren't)

    1. shot fire at mobs (Shoots fire projectiles at mobs)
Please specify, how much damage would it do, how long will it last, etc.
    2. make mobs do a back flip (When hit, mobs will do a back flip)
How would that work? What would the point of it be?
    3. trade with viliggers (Can trade with villagers)
    How would that work?
    4. same abilates a iron golm (Same abilities as Iron Golem)
And that is why almost all golem threads are bad.... they are OP replicas of Iron Golem
    5. 1000 lives (1000 Hearts)
Do you have any idea how much that is?!
6.say "i love you" randomlyonly if you made it (If you created it, it will randomly say "I love you")
    Ummmm.... okay.... that's weird

Maybe the iron chest would simply only be able to be opened if there is redstone powering it. It would also be as blast-resistant as an Iron Door, and also have the same amount of storage as a normal chest, would help make some interesting maps

posted a message on Summoning the EnderDragon
We all know (or at least most of us) that the ender dragon egg is completely worthless besides for a trophy item. I am suggesting that the egg be used for a "re-match" against the ender dragon. I have multiple options for what/how it would happen.

    Before you read
    1. The portal back to the over world will not despawn
    2. The "summoned" ender dragon will not drop a portal
    3. The Ender Dragon can ONLY be "summoned" in the end
    4. The Ender Dragon will not be any more different than the first one
    5. To prevent possible use as a griefing tool, a server's admin will have the option to disable the ender dragon's egg
    6. The Ender Dragon Egg, will NOT dissapear
    7. The "summoned" Ender Dragon will not drop an egg
    ___________________________________________________________
    1. You simply place the egg on the ground and leave the end, then come back, and all the ender crystals (the things that heal the dragon) will be back, along with the ender dragon

    2. You place the egg, and in about 10 seconds, all the enderman in a 16 block radius will start staring at the egg. Wait for 10 more seconds and the enderman will stop staring at the egg and resume what they were doing, and the ender dragon will spawn in the distance.

    3. Same as 2 but instead of the enderman just staring at the egg, they will look at it for 2 seconds and then run away from it, as if fearing the ender dragon will come back

    4. Same as 2, but after the enderman look at it, they will attack you, and the enderdragon will spawn once all the enderman that are attacking die.

Feel free to post what you think as long as if you say no, you have a reason why. Also feel free to post any other ways the ender dragon could be summoned. Don't forget to press the + button, if you support.
