I guess you're one of the idiots who came here to flame, then?

Not at all, I came to give my opinion on the maturity level of this thread, and to tell the OP what I had to do when I was making colored wool. To be quite fair, I didn't call anyone an "immature 12 year old", and at least my post was somewhat helpful and on-topic to the pertaining question.

I think that I've made enough constructive posts to warrant one off-topic post, so here goes:

You're not really defending your position. You're trying to justify what you've done by explaining it using a much calmer tone. "I came to give my opinion on the maturity level of this thread" doesn't change the fact that you called everyone who replied to this thread but one person an "idiot." Calling people idiots fits the definition of flaming, no matter how you justify it. Also, you called this thread "********." Again, that's flaming.

This post would be an example of a post that is not flaming. I'm pointing out how what you did is consistent with a definition, and then I point out that your post to defend yourself used logic which is at best questionable. At no point did I resort to name-calling or other personal attacks.

On topic: As someone has suggested, just use the /give command to give yourself the dyes and the wool. This will take slightly longer than just /give'ing yourself the colored wool, but it's probably still faster than figuring out how to use the command to get the colored wool.

Not at all, I said that the thread was "Filled with idiots" and that the replied comments were at best "idiotic", which is most likely why you didn't understand the use of the word "Idiot(s)" in my post. My intentions were not to start a flame war, they were to give my opinion on how immature this thread became with a few short posts. You're not doing any better by continuing this petty argument, and quite frankly neither am I. To reply to your "********" claim, I did not call the thread itself ********, I called the replies and the general tone of every immature member that wiped ass on this thread ********.

"At best", your line in your second paragraph "to defend yourself used logic which is at best questionable" could be considered flaming by someone that actually understands English better than a 5 year old. If you're going to attempt to make a point, why don't you practice what you preach instead of doing the exact same thing you claim I'm doing; Flaming with logic. Alright? Alright.

EDIT: If you want to be the "better man" and put on a display of the maturity you're so attempting to rub into my face, I would suggest you drop it. I may be mature, but I do reply to posts that "at best" question my actions, so you won't see me stopping to take a sip of tea when your fingers are currently working up another batch of ******** hidden in large and meaningless words. (See what I did there? That's borderline flaming, I thought an example of that could be used in contrast to the rest of my post. :>)

Last I checked, wasn't it easier to create a door?

    that you have to open

If right clicking ONCE on a door is too much effort, then why are you playing minecraft?

Maybe he broke his finger playing Runescape?

Diagonally is the easiest way to fill a space like that, it will automatically fill in the rest.

    :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^:
    :Logs^: :Water: [] [] :Logs^:
    :Logs^: [] :Water: [] :Logs^:
    :Logs^: [] [] :Water: :Logs^:
    :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^:

Ah, that was how. Thanks for posting, I completely forgot.

Alright, say you have a pool like this:

    :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^:
    :Logs^: [] [] [] :Logs^:
    :Logs^: [] [] [] :Logs^:
    :Logs^: [] [] [] :Logs^:
    :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^:

You need to put water on each of the edges:

    :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^:
    :Logs^: :Water: :Water: :Water: :Logs^:
    :Logs^: :Water: [] :Water: :Logs^:
    :Logs^: :Water: :Water: :Water: :Logs^:
    :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^: :Logs^:

Which will then cause the entire thing to be filled with a no-current water. I know there's a slightly easier way to do this, if someone remembers post it here.

Learn to read. Then maybe you'll understand it.

Yet time and time again, humanity continues to show it's ugly face with more immature and unneeded posts.

This entire thread is such ********. It's filled with either idiots that think giving him the link for the wiki is good enough, idiots thinking that the wiki clearly shows exactly how to get colored wool in the Data Values, and idiots that want to flame. Before you try to help the guy, why don't you go on the wiki yourself and see that giving yourself colored wool using the dec/hex is difficult because it's not clear?

Props to the one (Yeah, one) guy that attempted to help the OP. I had this problem too, and ended up just making the dye.

(Nice example of idiocy above me)

They are 16 blocks wide, 16 blocks long, and 128 blocks deep. When wandering the world the nearest 81 chunks are loaded, arranged in a 9 by 9 grid around the player.

    http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Chunk

For your trees to grow, someone must be within 16x9 (144) blocks of your tree farm.
