Just a few things I've noticed:
Smooth Lighting causes a crash when changed on main page via options.
Multiple different lighting failures in the game.
Mountain range is notable bigger than other biomes, a bit overpowering.
Some NPC villages have a stone house that spawns 1 block too low, causing the door to be 1 block high (Confirm this is a bug?)
Friendly mob generator a bit too high? (I saw 16 pigs on my screen 20 blocks from my spawn)
F3 is no longer debug mode, so you can't see mob IDs. (Good call Mojang)
Cloud height raised (No longer floats through buildings, another great change)
So far it's a nice update, still working on reviewing it. Can't wait to Youtube this.

Minecraft has been out for the better part of two years, and has undergone countless changes. Older players have the ability to feel nostalgic, I mean, how many games do you have that you've played for 2 years straight?

If you can't see it, you can punch it in creative. You can punch mobs through solid blocks.

Ah, sounds like a nice mod. Hopefully we won't need one when breeding comes out, whenever that is..

Animals do respawn, but you need to make a chunk perfectly crafted to get animals to spawn, such as a 16x16 grass platform from bedrock to skylimit every 3 blocks high. Since this will never be reproduced in a normal survival gameplay, animals effectively do not respawn.

Assuming it's an F3 mod? I had a link to one in my thread earlier.

I personally like it, it gives a more "cave-y" feeling to caves. It's aesthetic in that sense.

EDIT: ez was just viewing your thread :smile.gif:

Doubt it. It's more for aesthetics.

I'll contact the guy that I used his testmap from, and if he says yes I'll release it.

Put two snow blocks on each other, and then put a pumpkin head on top.

1.8.1 broke roses naturally appearing, 1.9 brought it back :smile.gif:
