Just a few things I've noticed:
Smooth Lighting causes a crash when changed on main page via options.
Multiple different lighting failures in the game.
Mountain range is notable bigger than other biomes, a bit overpowering.
Some NPC villages have a stone house that spawns 1 block too low, causing the door to be 1 block high (Confirm this is a bug?)
Friendly mob generator a bit too high? (I saw 16 pigs on my screen 20 blocks from my spawn)
F3 is no longer debug mode, so you can't see mob IDs. (Good call Mojang)
Cloud height raised (No longer floats through buildings, another great change)
So far it's a nice update, still working on reviewing it. Can't wait to Youtube this.

All caps rage mode.
I'm missing your point here? Your turn.

I'm just going to ignore your posts. Your opinion on my thread has changed three times, from "liking it because it's realistic" to "not liking it because it's realistic" and then back again. Make up your mind, write a clear and concise reply to the thread, and I'll take the time to make a post back.

Technically it "would" make it slower, until you found both animals. Sure, genders is on the table for realism, but fixing the mess of a breeding system should be priority. Then work on the specifics, if there's time before release.
You're making no sense. Your OP states you don't like my suggestions because they're realistic. Re-read what you wrote.

Minecraft has never had male/female animals, I don't think it should. Hell, I'm even fine with incest in animals, as it would be too idiotic to waste time coding something completely new. I want some aspects of realism, but not a completely realistic breeding system. I'm not going for the full package, just half/half to balance out the completely unrealistic concept we already have.

- I'm sorry you find factual evidence annoying.
- Why would I? I don't care if there's male or female animals, whilst it's realistic it's not a priority.
You're either not understanding the difference between breeding and spawning, or you're trolling. What's your point?

Passive Mob Spawning Algorithm is completely different from Breeding. Here, read the thread containing the research I've done:

Next time you make a post, make sure you have your information correct.

If you want realism, and you claim my suggestions give realism, why do you say you don't like my suggestions?
The hell are you talking about? "Research"? I played the game, saw what breeding was like, and made a suggestion. I haven't done research.. /facepalm

Exactly! +1'd.

I'd be fine if Minecraft was never officially released. I'd personally love a game that's always changing and being developed.
You're not making any sense. Do you want realism or not?

I think they take pride, I just think there's too much on their plate and not enough people. They've given themselves one month to give content, and then one month to fix it all. On top of that, Notch is going to court, and they're working on another game already. It's just too much.

The problem is, I don't want a calm debate that gets 10-15 posts and eventually dies. Have you seen those? Anything that "agrees" with the system usually gets buried under the threads that get popular because there's something to disagree about. More or less my topic was simply a ploy to get people into the thread, and even you couldn't disagree. I'd much prefer a heated debate about a topic that actually solves problems instead of a calm debate that is a bunch of teenagers agreeing with each other and smoking a toke. Seems like I got a bit of both, but I wouldn't change a thing in a heartbeat.
I also agree with your other statements, my time limit was just off the top of my head and is most likely too long.

And I always dislike reading your nonconstructive grammatically slaughtered posts, this time is no exception.

Actually, and I can say this with 100% confidence due to the research I did on the spawning algorithm, animal spawning is a completely random weighted choice. Besides wolves and squid, all animals have an equal chance to spawn in any biome. (Except ocean (squids) and deserts (none)).

No problem, I do like reading your replies, even if you're dead set against me. I just dislike the fact that the discussions are more about my attitude, and less about the points I make.

Also, enjoyed reading these:
Sadly, this community likes flaming more than debate. Oh well, I've probably reported at least a few dozen posts on this thread, seen a lot of them disappear. Not to mention that if my points weren't valid, I wouldn't have 500+ +1's. Some people just can't take it when you call them out.
