You need to put more thought into an idea before posting it. You haven't described anything about this block other than its function in your OP

posted a message on Custom Music Discs
I like this idea a lot. It would be excellent for map-makers to make theme music for their maps without having to loop a complicated noteblock track or make a mod for their music. However, like most map-making features, I think it should only be possible with third party tools. I know I don't want to constantly hear other people's music on server's I play on.

posted a message on Let's talk on how we can improve the "End" dimension
I really don't like this mentality that the only purpose of the end is to be a boss arena, would you complain if mojang decided on their own to add things to the end? The end is a very interesting place with a very neat atmosphere that other places in the game don't have. Anyways, on topic, I think a new ore would be really neat, but since the end is signifigantly smaller than the other dimensions, it would need to infinitely generate. Perhaps to keep the enderdragon from leaving the first island, the enderdragon could be attracted to the ender crystals (but not go too close to avoid destroying them). I also think endstone portals should be another way of reaching the end. You can't get endstone back home without killing the dragon. Lastly, we need the credits to only roll once. Sorry for the long post, but I'm very enthusiastic about adding to the nether and end.

posted a message on Mosaic Block (Not What You Think)
A mosaic block would be a block that allows you to format the look of your items in game. It could be used in both survival and creative to help mapmakers make completely new items (sort of, by using custom enchants and names) and for survivalists to make custom items.

    Gui
The gui of this block would have multiple slots to place items. The first is the "canvas" slot, here, the player could put the item they want to paint and it will be enlarged in a window at the top of the gui labeled "product". The next two slots are the two "dye" slots in which the player puts in one or two dyes to get a custom colour. If they have a dye in any dye slot, they can mouse over the product window and the cursor will have a circle of the selected colour around it. The gui also has a checkbox labeled "Glossy" which essentially allows the player to decide if the item will be glossy or not (as in shiny like enchanted items).

    Survival Usage
In survival, a player could put any item into the mosaic block's canvas slot and have it appear in the product window. They could then begin placing dyes in the dye slots to edit the item. Any non transparent pixels could be formatted in survival. All you need to do is mouse over a pixel in the product window with the two dyes in the slots and click it. The pixel will then change colour and the dyes will be consumed. It will obviously take a lot of dye to finish a custom item which is why i think this will be balanced in survival. Especially since this doesn't really do anything other than add custom looks. You could also edit an empty map which in the product window would appear as a map that is being held but without any terrain mapped out to make custom paintings which you could put in item frames. You could also edit used maps to mark certain areas on said map.

    Creative Usage
In creative, usage would be much the same, except transparent pixels can be edited, and dyes are not consumed after usage. You can also draw transparent pixels if the dye slots are empty.

    Notes
-Blocks cannot be edited in the mosaic block
-I don't think this should be a creative only item, but if enough feedback is given, I will change it to creative only.

What do you think of this block?

posted a message on Minecraft villagers
I think there should be two villager textures, a steve one and a squidward one. Then there could be some sort of config file to decide whether to use a steve model and texture or villager model and texture. Obviously the steve skin could be retextured. This would purely be client-side. That way, people can stop getting upset over this.

posted a message on Boss Mob in the Nether [with concept art]
I like it a lot. This on top of nether quartz would really add to the nether, but I think maybe if you added a new relatively useful item for them to drop, there would: A - Be more reson to fight it, I've almost never seen fire charges used by anyone. B - It would add a reason to go to the nether alongside nether quartz, reasons to go there are desperately needed.

posted a message on New Potions and Enchantments! [Hoopla for all the support!]
this definitely deserves a 1+, a lot of effort and thought was clearly put into this idea. I'd love if this all was added, it would add the diversity needed to minecraft combat, so pvp wouldn't just be a matter of clicking fast. Maybe you could also have an armor enchantment so the player has a 20 or so percent chance of not being affected by their own splash potion, although that's not a great idea.

I have a solution. Like ender pearls, perhaps this only works in survival and maybe can even to toggled in the server.properties document. That way only opped players in creative servers will be able to do it.

I support. I'm really sick of using mcedit to make custom mobs. Especially since sethbling's newer filters are no longer showing up in my filters tab but that's off topic. Great idea, I'd love to see it added.

posted a message on Good Terrain Survival Seed
Hi there, I've noticed most people post seeds that have witch huts, pyramids, villages, etc. Because of this, seeds with good terrain are harder to find. I used to use my 1.2.5 world to play in until the new generator ruined it. I was out in my ocean when I hit a wall of stone and dirt leading into a jungle biome, The explored part of my world was in this horribly ugly cube crater. Here's the thing though. Build a nether hub and you can find all those naturally generated structures and stuff further in the world, the real hard part is getting aesthetically pleasing terrain with this terrible new generator. Does anyone know a seed with workable terrain? I personally enjoy any biome except jungles and snow biomes. Does anyone know a seed like this with breathtaking terrain?

posted a message on Iron Golem Tactics
Iron golems despite meaning well, usually don't get the job done in terms of protection unless you have a ton which can be costly, plus, they have a nasty habit of getting lost. So to make them more efficient, I propose the ability to give your iron golems defense tactics. When you build an iron golem, (as long as it is yours) you can right click him and a gui comes up labeled "tactics". The available tactics are
-protect (the iron golem attacks anything that hits it or any hostile mobs, this is the default)
-guard (iron golem will attack anyone who breaks blocks)
-berserk (iron golem will attack any hostile mobs or players excluding its creator)
There are also two more seperate settings to apply to the golem about its movement.
-wander (iron golem wanders the area, this is the default)
-stay (iron golem stands guard, if it sees a target described by its tactics, it will attack them and return to its post whether it can see its post or not)
With these few simple settings, players can do all sorts of things with iron golems. What does everyone else think about this idea?

posted a message on More Dragons Mod
I've been using a few dragon themed minecraft mods because let's face it, dragons are awesome. But no dragon mods seem to get it right. the mystic dragons mod is okay, but you can't fly the dragons like the next dragon mod, dragon mounts. Although this one is also great, it only supplies one dragon with not many features other than hatching and flying. Despite those features being good, I feel it needs a few more types of dragons. The dragon catcher mod provides this variety, but almost overdoes it. There are tons in that mod and they're quite tiny too. So I'm proposing this mod, the "More Dragons Mod" full of dragons which hunt mobs and some even shoot projectiles (I've never seen a dragon mod with projectiles and those are quite important in my opinion, go easy on me, i don't know the limitations of minecraft mods, but I will be happy to nerf the idea if things get too complicated (I'd rather play a less fleshed out mod than have an idea for a more detailed one). So without Further Ado...
