I have looked as Asura's, but found them to be even scarier. I'm trying to alter Misa's into a friendlier looking husky. =D
-snip-
Copy that and rename it if you have to into "wolf_tame" or just "wolf" depending on if you have them tamed or just captures. XD
Oh, and I'd like to see some screens or opinions if it's not too much.
That looks AMAZING.
You ARE going to be creating wolf_angry too though?
And what about the color identifying them as tamed? :ohmy.gif:
Other than that, awesome. Really can't wait for a release <3
Any luck fixing this texture pack for the newest release? could it be the patchers themselves?
Hope its figured out soon.
PyRo
nah..it's confirmed not to be the patcher as both of them are havng the issue. certain texture packs aren't loading the particles.png for some reason and force quit/black screen the game. waiting on Kahr to come back on and give us some insight to the issue. but so far there have only been a few packs this happens with, and some people get it to work but are too stupid/selfish to explain how so the rest of us know.
Bug reporting:
In the options menu, options don't show up as changed until you back out and then re enter the main menu.
The options still have their affect, but you don't see the change.
The shaders automatically look for the terrain_nh and terrain_s files even if you don't have a bumpmapping shader, which causes the game to crash if it can't find them.
The game spits out an error whenever you start it with MSAA on.
"An error occured while applying the selected level of MSAA. Try a different setting".
Clicking okay makes it go away, and the game starts fine w/ everything working.
More of an annoyance than an actual functionality bug.
This one has been left over from the previous version.
UPDATE: Oh, and FOV still gets messed up when switching from Windowed to Full Screen or visa verse in-game.
Actually explain on how to use it or make a tutorial. I have no idea how to use this. Xau's was much simpler. I don't know what to do with the texture pack. Yes, I've read the entire post.
double click the jar to run patcher...click patch... put all texture packs into minecraft texturepack folder.. use menu in minecraft to change packs
I don't see why it's so hard for people to figure this out.
Personally I think this is 10x better than the original, both in simplicity and functionality.
Guys, he included the source code.
Is no one able to update it themselves?
Haven't tried yet as I'm not a super-experienced coder, but I have some experience with C# and will see if I can do it.
Don't expect anything though, but I'll try.
What do I do if this pack screws up Minecraft? I cant even get past the logo without it crashing, let alone get to the page where I can take it off.
I assume it's crashing because you didn't use MCpatcher (HDFix).
But you can reset minecraft by going to options->force update in the launcher.
EDIT: Misa released Wolves.
Download just the wolves/new char.png (newer than the one in 3.1.4 at least) here: http://sundergaming.com/littlebeetle/mob.zip
Just extract the mob folder inside the zip file to the texture pack's .zip file.
(Extract the mob folder as a whole, not the individual files inside of it... those files should be in the mob folder inside the texture pack and not in the root directory.)
I'f awful at this patching stuff...but could you be more specific on how to install the texture pack? Where do I extract the .rar file and what do I do with it.
Patch minecraft.jar (in %appdata%/.minecraft/bin by default) with MCPatcher 2.0, and put the .zip folder of the texture pack in your texture pack folder (%appdata%/.minecraft/texturepacks by default)... then select the Texture pack in main menu.
Success.

If you prefer the default wolf you can use that one.
Open up the texture pack, go into the "mob" folder, delete wolf.png wolf_angry.png and wolf_tame.png.

This texture pack is not for MC Classic.
Only for MCBeta, you will not be able to use it.

That's weird. Works fine for me.

Unless I misunderstand your question, in which case I apologize, : I love how you completely miss the post right above yours.

All credit goes to Misa, of course.
