Minecraft keeps crashing when i run it after trying to install the pack.
Also, when running the patcher i get 'Your minecraft.jar appears to be an older version or is already modded bla bla bla..' Yet ive redownloaded it numerous times and deleted the backup 'minecraft-1.5_01.jar' numerous times..
I had problems downloading the 256x256 version! Three times the download said it would be complete, but non of the three zip-files had those 40MB. One had about 4MB, the other one had 10MB and the next one had 36MB. :S
I'll download it from another source, but i dont know if it's my fault or if it's the hoster fault that the downloads are finished too early. Im using FF 4.0
/Edit: The fourth download just had 275kb, awesome. :biggrin.gif:
/Edit2: The fifth download had 7MB. WTF?
By the way congratulations, you've probably already heard but just in case: Your Texture pack is on a new Yogcast show, ~360,000 subscribers
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MOTHER****ERS.
I don't know who this 'Yogcast' is, or why they are casting yogs... but people always talk about them.
So now my server will be hammered by some yoggers :sad.gif:
Sad day for me, happy day for Scuttles.
Scuttles takes pleasure out of my misery. XD
Let us see if the server can stand the load. :biggrin.gif:
LOL The server load for the CPU is in red alert mode. :ohmy.gif:
The new download method totally fixes the bandwidth issue, so it won't go down...
but apparently rapes the CPU so it loads slower.
Though the downloads themselves haven't compromised, still great speeds... just the website/cpanel/anythingthatrequiresloadingapage
Hello, first, i must say that this mod its great, but but but, i got one problem, kinda boring.
I use this mod with the Outlines cartoon shaders, and waving wheat, leaves and stuff with my own 64x64 texture pack, its just perfect, but, the game crashing about 5 minutes after start game (or black screen or just close MC without anything...)
My video card is a GTS450 and everything is fine with it i think and i installed everything in good way (and for many way different for try to fix the problem) so its not that neither.
I tried then with MCPatcher and i got it in the log:
########## GL ERROR ##########
@ Post render
1285: Out of memory
So, what is the problem you think, and mostly, what is the solution if there is ?
it do that with any shaders and any TP
Thank you for your futur reply!
I think the problem is clear, you are out of memory.
The solution would be to increase the RAM allocated to JAVA via the Java Heap Size.
If you don't have a sufficient amount of RAM it is recommended that you upgrade, RAM isn't *too* expensive.
You can find tutorials on increasing the java heap size on the internet, but it's simple to figure out.
Just edit the Java Settings in the Java option in Control Panel. :3
Pazaz is a tool, Ya i'm having the same issue with it, My computer is only a few months old and can run all top end games on ultra so i have no idea what the issue is with it.
Pazaz is a tool, sure. But he's a correct tool.
This is user error.
Your error is Error ID 10t
Really wish people would stop requesting Technical Support on Texture Pack threads.
If you are going to request support at all, do it in the proper thread.
Your issue is with MCPatcher.
Or, specifically, incorrect use of MCPatcher.
Mipmapping is hard to implement correctly in Minecraft. It took a LOT of time, reading OpenGL docs and experimenting until it was working good with default textures.
The HD Textures are probably deadly for the current dynamic mipmaps. To fix this the dynamic texture framework have to be rewritten from scratch.
Still, I think Notch could do it if he tried. Sure though, it would definitely take time.
I feel native HD Texture support and Mipmapping would be more important than a silly map.
I actually asked in the MCPatcher thread about maybe having Mipmapping built into MCPatcher, since the mipmapping in this isn't compatible.
Quote from Kahr »
I've played around with mipmapping, but any animated textures (water, lava, etc.) bring the game to its knees. At 256 it's only playable if you disable all animations. Then there's other graphical artifacts, like tiles bleeding over into the adjacent textures in terrain.png. I'm not an OpenGL programmer though, so maybe these things are easily fixable.
Why can't Notch just stop being dumb, and embrace Mipmapping.
MIPMAPPING DOES NOT SUCK.
ADD IT OFFICIALLY NOTCH.
Damn it. :sad.gif:

It's your fault.
Use the Mediafire mirror.

Is this a serious question? :S
They are selecting it in the "Mods and Texture Packs" menu in the game... like you normally do. :3

...It ****ing works with 1.5_01.
People should really try **** before they post about it. :|
Also: Video while I'm at it. :3
Shaders ftw.

Really awesome video! :biggrin.gif:

LOL I always thought that too... Though I don't use the default skin myself, so it doesn't really matter.
